Dr. Steven Mapula is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and prides himself on delivering a customized approach for his patients with each treatment tailored to achieve their goals. Operating surgically with knowledgeable team members and providing care outpatient within a state-of-the-art and spacious clinic, he excels at providing the highest standards of care, trust, and healing. Dr. Mapula completed his General Surgery training in 2014 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center after which he spent a short period partnered with an acute care practice. He then returned to UT Southwestern where he finished his Plastic Surgery training in 2018. Originally from El Paso, Texas, he now calls the Dallas/Fort Worth (D/FW) Metroplex his home. Some of his clinical interests include breast reconstruction, micro-surgical reconstruction, facial fractures, minor burn care, breast surgery, body contouring, laser and light therapies, cosmetic filler, and neurotoxin injections. He has practiced with Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group's Plastic Surgery Department since 2018 and is committed to ensuring the highest level of care for his patients. He carries great passion and pride in serving his patients and enjoys serving Fort Worth and the surrounding communities.
