Before and after rapid recovery breast augmentation. This patient had a mild tuberous or constricted breast deformity. I did a special breast augmentation designed specifically to correct this type of breast. For tuberous breasts I use a periareolar incision and slightly lower the inframammary breast crease to create more room in the lower pole. I place the implant under the breast but not the muscle: subglandular. I then release the constriction by radially scoring the breast tissue which allows the breast to spread out over the implant creating a rounder and better shaped breast.
