A lesser known service for us, but for our African American patients, a very meaningful one. We remove sun damage and discoloration from smoking or vaping with our Palomar Q-Yag V laser in 1-2 visits. A rewarding outcome for these patients.

Patient had discoloration on the lower lip from sun exposure and smoking.  This is before and after photos of one q-switched laser treatment to remove the discoloration.  Although not a cure, the results are fantastic using our Palomar Q-Yag V laser.

This Asian patient was interested in removing some very visible sun spots.  The challenge is that IPL treatments cannot remove these types of age spots, especially in Asian skin where the risk of side effects is higher.  But high powered more narrowly focused Palomar Q-yag V, q-switched laser easily did the job.  Before and after 2 laser treatments.

Patient is a middle aged black male concerned with the very dark freckling he had throughout the face.  We used the Palomar Q-yag V laser to lighten these freckles significantly after two treatments.  Yes, dark skin can be treated for age spots and freckles but technology and experience are key.

Patient is a 25ish female Asian patient and was concerned about a very visible mole or sun spot at her left lower lip. One treatment later with our Palomar Qyag V laser and her lips are a perfectly clear and consistent color throughout!

Patient wasnt happy with the color of her eyebrow tattoo due to her sparse eyebrow hairs, so the result shows mostly her natural hair growth. She can either use an eyebrow pencil, leave them as they are, or get them re-tattooed in a different color.2nd pair of photos - Previously,  tattooist used different metals in her dark brown tattoo, so when we applied the first laser treatment with a 1064nm wavelength to reduce the dark brown, it revealed red and yellow tones from the enhancers. The advantage of seeing a laser specialist is having access to multiple lasers and wavelengths, allowing us to use a different wavelength to target the red and yellow colors, which many practices cant do. In the second treatment, we effectively removed the red-brown color using a PicoPlus 532nm wavelength.
