I went here for laser hair removal and I have been so so happy with the results. I have PCOS, so to not have to shave every day has changed my life! The girls there know what they are talking about and they have answered all my questions and concerns!
I have a few tattoos, perhaps a lot or perhaps not many, depending on how you look at it and I can't stand them. I often think about how ugly they look and contemplate on what it would be like to have fresh skin instead. I'm really not a tattoo kind of girl and it was all done at a time in my life when I was naive, young and trying lots of new things out. Although some are pretty decent and respectable pieces of art done by professionals and Ive been advised to keep one of them in particular my view is that they are awful. Next i'll talk over each tattoo including info on them excluding one who h is on my bak and I can't photograph it. I'll start by describing a very small one on my hand, it has black and white ink, it was done in London and its seen a little fading after 1 session of removal at a clinic in the North of England (SK:N LEEDS). They used old lasers so it only faded a bit and it hurt a lot. It is a coverup so underneath there was a tiny black gun which inspired by Rihanna. Recently, I've been to another three places for patch tests and I'm in a new city too. The Picoway was the least painful and one of the most effective. One place I visited in my area really hurt a lot but it removed a spot on the black outline, you can see it on the pics, it's completely gone and they used a Picosecond, in comparison, the Picoway at Laser Light Pulse Clinic in London has had two weeks since a patch test and I can see my real skin coming through, it's also created a blurring of the ink and covers a larger area than the Picosecond used at Pro Clinics in Bristol. It was my first tattoo, and it was done in 2008 and again in 2009 so its 10/9 years old. Basically, after researching the topic of tattoo removal for a few weeks I know in USA they sometimes use numbing injections called Lidocaine but in the UK this is almost totally unheard of. We're still so behind which is depressing. There is one clinic I've heard of in Liverpool that offers this but they use old lasers and you can expect to have to go in for 15 or 20 times plus. I'm actually still looking for somewhere in London who use numbing injections and Picoway or Picosure and if I find anywhere ill say, or if even if someone reading this knows of some place please say. I think that very small black and white one will lift easily they said after one or two sessions it could be possible that it goes. I am at two weeks post the patch test and consultation and I can see my real skin colour starting to show, this gives me hope for removing all my unwanted ugly tattoos. Next I will talk about the tattoo on my foot which is now just a blob. I got a few tattoos done whilst I lived by the beach in Costa Rica and so on my foot there was originally a tattoo of a dragonfly it was symbolic of my journey into the Jungle. It was small and it was in light pinks, purples, black outlines and a bit of grey shadowing. The day after I had got the tattoo done I went out with a friend, walking through a stream in the jungle so the ink didn't heal properly. It was exposed for an hour and it shouldn't have been exposed to water at all. This has been easy because even though it's only had one, maybe two layers removed on an old laser it is now only a little blob and I'm going in to the clinic in London so it completely goes once it heals and I plan to go in for that this Saturday. Its very faded now and I know the pain will be worth it. Its 8 years old. The next tattoo I'm very embarrassed about its a bad, ugly, tramp stamp and violates my body- I really have no choice. So I've got to go through with the pain. It should push and test me to move on to removing the other tattoos. It's large, black ink and I got it done in Venice Beach,CA. I won't say what it says or means but the lines have blurred. Theres a discount on large tattoo packages from the clinic I chose in London for Christmas so I'll get it patch tested this Saturday and discuss everything over with the staff but please wish me some luck. its 9 years old. Next piece, it's a coverup and it has three layers in total. The first layer is small done by a guy a knew in his house, the next is bigger and more professional with thin black outlines, colours and the final layer is very dark done to a very professional high standard but only has one layer done so you can still slightly see thin outlines showing through. For someone who doesn't like tattoos its a total nightmare and for someone who likes them its nice. It is multi coloured but very dark and big. It has black, purple, blue, green, red, pink. This piece is approx 16cm long and 14cm wide. Believe me, I'm dreading removing it actually Im not sure I can go through with it at all which upsets me. Also, if I had the guts I'd get all my tattoos removed at the same time. Not to mention theres still more I can't write about in this post. Obviously if I do it in one go i'll know I can get this done quicker which would be nice but because I couldn't go through with the pain on the old lasers I don't know what I can do. If anyone has been through this and can advise me, It'll help, thanks. It started 8 years ago and was completed in 2012, the visible layer is 6 years old but the previous layers which were done out in Costa Rica are 8 years old. Next, I have a tiny couple of tattoos that I had done in red and black ink. I also will get these tiny ones removed. Then one last piece on my back. I can't photograph it now, as I said because I'm home alone. I will write up about it in a separate post. It is probably large too. I guess what I'm thinking is whether I can handle the pain especially because they turn up the heat each time. Im going in on Saturday to talk over their christmas deals. They have big savings on large tattoo packages of which I have 3 but I'm prioritising the one on my belly, then the one on my arm, finally the one on my back noone really sees it much but would look cuter off. They also have package deals on small tattoos and they spoke about a bundle of all the very small ones I want removing under one set price ill pay for one small and all done at the same time. I need the savings because Im unemployed at the moment. I want to get them all done at once but i still think I can't handle the pain. So I might start with just the nasty tramp stamp and all the little ones. From there ill know if I can actually stand it and might buy more to incorporate all of them. On Saturday ill also get my foot done and I think two weeks later it should have gone. I'm going to put pictures up of my whole journey from begging through to the end and II'll try and write everything i detail so it help someone else who's going through this too. Updated on 26 Sep 2019: I've had a total of 6 Tattoos over a period of 11 years, some were coverups done to rescue me from total embarrassment. As I've said, I've already posted previously explaining that the process was confusing. It's costly, time consuming and embarrassing. I feel bad, sorry. I'm starting working on removing the medium gang tat, done in Venice, on my lower abdomen. It says true love way, it's a song title but I'm ashamed. The others are smaller and easier to remove.
