70 yo Asian female felt energetic beyond her years and was displeased with her older appearance. She had notable descent and laxity of her lower eyelids, giving her eyes a rounded, aged, and sagging appearance. Her upper lids appeared heavy and with redundant skin and fat. She did not like the jowling and square shape of her lower face with aging. Her concerns were addressed with a facelift, upper blepharoplasty, lateral canthopexy (eyelid tightening procedure), buccal (lower cheek) fat removal, and fat transfer from the thighs to the periorbital regions and cheeks. Postoperatively, the patient was overjoyed with the return of the youthful heart shape of her face, defined cheek bones, as well as the rejuvenated shape and position of her eyes.
