After removal a basal cell cancer with Mohs surgery, this 74 year old woman had a wound of her right lateral upper lip. The lip was repaired by advancing the entire remaining lip tissue to right of the wound into the defect by making incisions along the natural smile line between her cheek and lip (melolabial crease) as well as along the border between the lip skin and red mucus lining (vermilion).
