39 year old female shown 3 months after a breast augmentation with high profile round smooth silicone implants (365 cc on L and 415 cc on R) placed in a dual plane position through an inframammary crease incision.  These are Natrelle Soft Touch silicone implants.

Before and after rapid recovery breast augmentation. This patient had a mild tuberous or constricted breast deformity. I did a special breast augmentation designed specifically to correct this type of breast. For tuberous breasts I use a periareolar incision and slightly lower the inframammary breast crease to create more room in the lower pole. I place the implant under the breast but not the muscle: subglandular. I then release the constriction by radially scoring the breast tissue which allows the breast to spread out over the implant creating a rounder and better shaped breast.

Her chest wall deformity caused her breasts to take on a more square and underdeveloped shape. I did a breast augmentation creating more space under the breasts for the implants to round our her breasts giving them a more natural round shape. The implants were placed under her chest muscle to create a more natural shape as well.

Before and after tuberous/constricted breast augmentation. This patient had small breasts and a tuberous or constricted breast shape. For cases like this the treatment is unique. I did a periareolar incision, subglandular implant pocket placement, lowering of the inframammary breast creast to create room in the lower pole, and radial scoring of the breast parenchyma to allow the breast tissue to open up over the implant. She now has much better shape AND volume.

In cases like this I use a dual plane technique placing the implant under the chest muscle and then making space above the muscle to allow the breast to slide up and perfectly align with the implant. I used a Silicone gel gummy bear extra full profile SoftTouch gel 340cc to give her the right amount of volume. The extra full profile help lift the breast.

Breast augmentation REVISION with internal bra. This patient had older implants that began to sit lower over time. Additionally she didn't like the fact that they moved sideways under her arms when she laid down. I did a revision replacing her old implants with the newest generation silicone gel gummy bear implants. I also revised her implant pockets placing sutures to close off space laterally and to raise her breast fold about 2 cm. I then reinforced the new pocket with a Galaflex internal bra to prevent the implants from going back down or bottoming out again. Her new implant sit much higher and don't move to the side when she lying down.
