This young female patient had congenitally missing upper lateral incisors. Through 3-D imaging and CAD-CAM guide fabrication, 3 mm implants were placed with precision. Because the space is often minimal in this type of situation, narrow implants are indicated and must be placed with absolute precision to avoid damage to adjacent teeth. Implants were temporized for about 4 months to design the gum tissue line before restored with final crowns. This treatment was done in team approach with Dr. Kazemi as oral surgeon and Dr. Kate as the restorative dentist.
