Facial Liposuction

This woman in her fifties had one feature she was very self conscious of, her double chin. The rest of her facial features were in good condition, but the pocket of fat beneath her chin had become more noticeable with age. She was a good candidate for liposuction as she had good skin tone without excessive laxity, and the main issue with her “ waddle” as it is sometimes called, was not skin but fat. She underwent liposuction under local anaesthetic. The procedure took about 1 hour. A small incision below the chin allowed placement of the liposuction cannula. She is pictured after the procedure with significant improvement in appearance.
