Created by Canfield Scientific, this next-generation platform builds on their VISIA Skin Analysis technology to capture a multi-spectral scan of your face, creating detailed visualizations of your skin’s surface—and even conditions within the subsurface.Â
Going far beyond the capabilities of the human eye, it captures multi-spectral light wavelength data, including visible, cross-polarized, and ultraviolet light (UV-A). The RBX technology maps red (vascular) and brown (melanin) patterns deep within the skin, while the UV absorption allows comprehensive assessment of superficial pigmentation caused by sun damage.
Then it creates a high-resolution 3D model with automated measurements, color-coded contour maps, and the ability to visualize potential results from any angle.
During a VISIA 3D consultation, a provider can use its 3D Sculptor capabilities to show predicted results from one or more aesthetic procedures, from injectables and energy-based treatments to surgical procedures like rhinoplasty. They can even simulate removing or adding volume, simulating facial rebalancing with exacting measurements.
In post-treatment follow-ups, you and your provider can compare your baseline 3D scan with your results over time, isolate specific features, and measure improvements.
