Hydrinity is a medical-grade skin care collection that has been shown to deliver rapid results. Their formulas combine a potent form of hyaluronic acid (HA) with a proprietary blend of six peptides and botanicals, with growth factors and extracts that behave like retinoids to accelerate skin repair.

Rooted in the science of regenerative medicine, Hydrinity products have been shown in a clinical trial funded by the brand to deliver visible results in just two weeks and more dramatic changes after 12 weeks of twice-daily use.

According to its manufacturer, Hydrinity serums are so fast-acting because they contain concentrations of HA two times higher than any other brand, with longer, stronger molecular HA chains that allow more of the peptides and botanical extracts to attach. This makes Hydrinity’s formulas more fast-acting. They credit the potency and purity of their HA to a patented heat-free, small-batch extraction process.

These “supercharged” HA molecules are also dual weight, to target different layers of the skin. High-weight HA molecules attract moisture to the skin’s surface to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, while low-weight HA molecules penetrate deep into the dermis, to ramp up collagen and elastin production and regenerate skin from the inside out.

Pros

  • Hydrinity’s unique manufacturing process creates a more powerful form of HA than other brands: twice as potent, according to the brand.
  • In the clinical trials we mentioned earlier, subjects saw smoother, firmer skin with less visible pores and fewer fine lines and wrinkles after just two weeks of twice-daily use.
  • After 12 weeks, subjects and physicians saw significant improvements in skin plumpness, fine lines, wrinkles, and luminosity.
  • In a separate study (also funded by the brand), the Restorative HA Serum was shown to speed healing and epidermal renewal when it was applied after erbium laser treatments.
  • The products are cruelty-free, non-comedogenic, and free of potential allergens and irritants including petrolatum, parabens, toxins, dyes, and fragrance.
  • They’re also dermatologist-tested and safe for all skin types, including those with acne, eczema, rosacea, and sensitivity.
  • The company stands behind their products with a guarantee: unsatisfied users can return their empty bottle for a full refund.

Cons

  • Like other medical-grade skin care lines, Hydrinity products are more expensive than drugstore options.
  • Because this skin-care collection is relatively new, few reviews exist outside of the testimonials on the brand’s website.

Hyacyn Active Purifying Mist

This refreshing facial mist is the first step in the Hydrinity skin care routine.

With hypochlorous acid (a gentle anti-microbial that’s sometimes used as a wound disinfectant) as the key ingredient, it’s designed to prep the skin and enhance the effectiveness of Hydrinity serums by balancing the pH, quelling inflammation, and removing dirt, oil, makeup, and bacteria without stripping the skin.

Renewing HA Serum

This light, non-sticky formula contains the company’s unusually potent hyaluronic acid, a peptide complex intended to boost new collagen production, and rejuvenating botanicals, including:

  • Kakadu plum, rich in vitamin C to neutralize free radicals
  • Ginger root extract, an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and redness-relieving properties
  • Algae extract, with antioxidant and humectant properties to firm and detoxify
  • Hexapeptide leaf extract, which behaves like a retinoid to generate new collagen over time
  • Squalane, a non-greasy, emollient moisturizer
  • Bisabolol, to help fade scars, stave off blemishes, and restore plumpness

Restorative HA Serum

The silky serum boasts the same core actives as the Renewing HA Serum (dual-weight HA, peptides, botanicals), but a slightly different cast of supporting ingredients that make it more suitable for healing and regenerating compromised skin after a cosmetic procedure.

It’s clinically proven to reduce inflammation and bolster the skin’s natural recovery process, for an immediate calming effect, accelerated wound healing, and long-term improvements in skin tone, smoothness, elasticity, and resiliency.

  • The Renewing HA Serum comes in two sizes: 15 ml for $98, 30 ml for $140.
  • The Restorative HA Serum costs $84 for 15 ml and $120 for 30 ml.
  • The Hyacyn Active Purifying Mist is available in one size (90 ml), which retails for $60.
