Megan Fox Reveals All the Plastic Surgeries She’s Had Done—and What She’s Avoiding

Megan Fox—ostensibly one of the most beautiful women in the world—has been up-front in the past about how she feels about her appearance, including a long struggle with body dysmorphia. And while some have suspected that she’s undergone plastic surgery, taking her from a fresh-faced, Transformers-era teen to a bombshell in her own right, Fox has finally confirmed the suspicions in a recent interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

So: Why now? It’s mostly to serve as a response to trolls in her social media comment section. “I feel like there’s this stigma,” she tells podcast host Alex Cooper, pointing to Kylie Jenner as an example of someone who’s been transparent about her plastic surgery and still gets called out for it on social media. “I’m hoping it sets some people free.” (It’s worth noting, however, that Kylie denied getting lip filler and a breast augmentation for years before coming clean, which isn’t exactly the same as being open and honest.)

Fox then launches into a list of what she’s been accused of doing but hasn’t yet done or won’t do. For one, there’s been no lift whatsoever. “I’ve never had a facelift of any kind—so no mid-facelift, no lateral brow lift, although I would like one, or no regular brow lift,” the 37-year-old says. She’s also never done a thread lift. Although she’s researched thread lifts extensively, “I just don’t really believe they work, and I’m also afraid they’d interfere when I do need to have a facelift,” she says, leaving the door open for the latter.

Fox has also never had any fat removed from her body, largely because she’s naturally lean and therefore doesn’t have much body fat to spare. For that reason, she says, “I’ll only ever put fat in, I will never be taking fat out, which leads me to, I’ve never had any lipo or body contouring or anything like that.” And a BBL is out of the question. “I’d be so flattered if someone thought I had a BBL,” she says. “That surgery is such a hard one to recover from. If I’m going to survive that surgery, you’re going to give me an ass that’s an anomaly. It’s got to stop people in their tracks.”

As for what Fox has had done, the most recent (and most frequent) surgery has been breast implants. She had her first implants put in when she was in her early 20s—and then redone after she finished breastfeeding her children, explaining, “I don’t know where they went, but they went.” And she just had those replaced recently, since the rippling of her implants became visible. At this point, Fox recounts, she told her doctor that she just wanted to wake up with the biggest breasts that could fit on her body. (She awoke to a 32D.) “I don’t want to wake up to a full B cup,” she said. “I don’t care what’s on trend.”

Fox has also had just one rhinoplasty, despite rumors of more. “I’ve been accused of having six, seven, eight rhinoplasty surgeries. That would be impossible,” says Fox, who estimates that it’s been at least a decade since her rhinoplasty. (She credits her obsession with nose contouring for drawing suspicion that she’s had multiple rhinoplasties, adding that she contours her nose down to the Voldermort-like nostrils.)

Beyond surgery, lasers and injectables are fair game. “When it comes to lasers and stuff like that, I’ve done everything you could possibly think of doing,” she says. But there’s one procedure that Fox refuses to disclose on-air. “There’s one thing I’ve had done that I’m gatekeeping because, sorry—it was really good and it’s not a known plastic surgery,” she says. “I wanted it very badly.”

Fox credits her paranoia of surgical complications for keeping her from undergoing other procedures, noting that her body “does not react well” to general anesthesia. As a result, “I don’t take surgery lightly, and therefore I have not had many of them,” she says. “That’s probably a saving grace.”
