If you want to look a little more lively via video chat (or even just want to cover up tired eyes from late-night Netflix bingeing during quarantine), a good under-eye concealer is key, especially if getting in-office procedures is on pause right now. But since in-person testing has come to an indefinite end with store closures, it can be tough to find one that works for you. Using arnica to support healing skin, caffeine to brighten, and peptides to boost collagen, you can apply this product anywhere on the face—under-eyes included—to see an improved overall appearance.

Lorac Pro Soft Focus Longwear Concealer ($24)

Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer ($48)
For those with dry skin, this concealer by Kevyn Aucoin is a prime choice. Formulated with jojoba oil and honey, it hydrates the under-eye area in order to prevent cakiness or flaking throughout the day. And for those also looking to neutralize discoloration instead of simply covering it up, Irwin suggests trying the shade number nine for light skin or number 13 for medium to dark skin tones.
Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer ($27)
Highly pigmented, this concealer needs only a thin layer to create full coverage of under-eye circles and never needs touch-ups. Pro tip: apply a light dusting of setting powder on top of applied concealer, then swipe off excess. Your finish will have extra staying power—regardless of how hot, humid, or wet the weather is.

Sometimes it can feel absolutely impossible to find a concealer for your skin tone, but with Fenty Beauty’s impressive range of 50 different shades, you can rest assured that there’s one in the group that will be your perfect match. Plus this soft matte, long-wear formula is phthalate-, paraben-, and cruelty-free, which is always a perk when it comes to cosmetics. Like most things endorsed by Rihanna (who created the line—Fenty is her last name), this concealer already has a cult following—and we totally understand why!
Wander Beauty Dualest Matte & Illuminating Concealer ($29)
With a matte stick for thicker coverage on one end and an illuminating liquid on the other, this dual-sided concealer fills all your under-eye-correction needs. Use the stick for full coverage of shadows and the liquid to brighten the area for an immediate bright-eyed look. Some advice: use the warmth of your fingers to help blend the matte stick formula into your under-eye area more easily. It’ll soften the consistency, for a seamless finish.
Bobbi Brown Under Eye Corrector ($29)
“Bobbi Brown makes amazing neutralizers,” says Irwin. For covering up super stubborn dark circles, Irwin suggests reaching for a more yellow-toned, peach option if you’re fair or a yellow-orange shade if you’re dark-toned, to neutralize the circles’ blueish undertones. For additional coverage, layer on a brightening concealer (like Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Concealer ($31), which these correctors were created to be paired with) that’s one to two shades lighter than your complexion.

A staple backstage at all the major fashion weeks across the world, this concealer may just be our favorite. Not only does it instantly erase all signs of fatigue, it’s also crease-, sweat-, water-, and humidity-resistant. However, it’s important to note that in addition to formula, application technique makes a difference in your concealer’s staying power. “Work in thin layers,” explains Irwin. “Both a detail concealer brush and a beauty sponge come in handy to diffuse the edges and blend [it] flawlessly into the rest of the face.”
