I am a 33 year old mom of 4. I had the gastric bypass when I was 22 before I had children. I now have birth 7 children altogether and have since gained my weight back plus some. I just had my last baby about 3 years ago now and I am 350Ib I am finding it hard to get the weight off now. I still of course have the effects of the surgery in that I have to eat small amounts of food and I get full quickly. What are my surgical options if any for weight loss again?
Hi my name is Hamad I am 21 years old, I had the gastric bypass surgery before 2 weeks outside the US but I am going back this week and I live in Colorado and we all know marijuana is legal there and I was smoking approximately every 2 days. My question can I smoke marijuana after the gastric bypass surgery?, will it open my appetite and make me eat more? and what is the safe period of time I can smoke after the surgery?. Regards Hamad
I had gastric bypass and my skin sags now. Where it folds (abdomen, thighs, arms), I get infections and painful rashses, and I'm looking for ways to stop this. What type of treatment or surgery is available to get rid of all the extra skin? Could the sagging skin be fixed all at once or would it require me to have lots of things done over a long time?
I am 40 years old and had a gastric bypass 20 years ago. About 4-5 years ago my stomach turned from the saggy loose stomach I had been sporting for years into a more firm and round stomach that resembles a beach ball. My husband accused me of hiding a pregnancy. At that time, there was no weight gain and I was I steadily holding at my regular 125-130 even though I no longer looked it. I gained weight during covid, but even at 160 I look much, MUCh larger. What could be the cause?
Hello, I am 10 years out from Gastric Bypass surgery and am experiencing severe nausea after eating. This has been going on for 3-4 months. I have been very successful with my weight loss but now Im down another 30-40 pounds because I dont want to eat. I have an appetite but as soon as I eat, I start experiencing nausea. This is to the degree I have to lay down for about 30-45 minutes until it passes. Is this common this far out from surgery?
