So many factors go into tattoo removal, it's no wonder experiences vary so much. However some of those are certainly malleable: which laser, which setting, what duration between treatments, what kind of aftercare. Much of what drives this surely is the result of the person caring for the patient.Something that really worries me about these tattoo removal shops, as clean and professional as they appear, is how so many of them use technicians to perform what I would consider a medical procedure. Like everyone else, I don't want to go have a Tx done, watch them fiddle with different frequencies and intensities, setting me back months at a time. This brings me to my primary question: is there really a difference between what a Dr can do versus a technician? Why do so few Drs perform the procedure? Is it really a simple enough procedure that a technician can operate with total efficiency?
