Hi everyone! I had labiaplasty done by Dr. Sudarsky in Fort Lauderdale about 24 hours ago, and would just like to share my experience thus far. Knock on wood, but I am in a lot less pain than I thought I would be in. Leaving the hospital yesterday at about 10am, my pain was probably at a 6 or 7 on a 1-10 scale of pain. I have peed a few times since the surgery, which has also been far less painful than I expected. I haven't had too much stinging while urinating, but I have been using water bottles and the squirter I was given to rinse while peeing and after peeing. After I rinse, I lightly DAB the entire area with a shower towel, which seems to be working for me thus far. Make sure to change up the towel at the end of the day to avoid infection. After peeing, I use either my finer or a q-tip to dab/spread on the litacane I was given by my surgeon. Laying in bed all day has kind of sucked, considering I have no more Grey's Anatomy to catch up on. After making sure I am keeping the area clean, I keep my butt elevated on 1 or 2 pillows. Ice packs to the area work while elevated, but I have found that refrigerated soda cans last much longer. I look like a crab when I walk, but my speed has been picking up, so I should be back to normal in another day or so. I hope this helped! Please feel free to ask me about any more specifics.
