Hey, just wondering if anyone had breast augmentation, then been disappointed with the results?
I had surgery 4 weeks ago. I'm 5ft 11" and weigh 68kg. I wanted natural breasts but wanted to be in proportion with my tall frame and for once wanted to fill a bra without having to literally use push ups and padding to do so. I was advised to go for 275cc unders moderate profile however following my initial apt and having spoken to friends who had been through the process I then questioned the size and wanted to go bigger to 300cc+ or higher but after confusion at the hospital on the day of surgery after i was given incorrect information by the hospital I proceeded with 275cc as the Dr said it would give me a good result still.
I loved my new breasts after surgery and was thrilled by the results and look of the new full boobs. However, then the swelling went....as did my breast size. I'm so upset. I don't look in proportion and feel that even though I do have larger breasts than before surgery, it's not the outcome I hoped for. Naked they look good but in clothes they're lost and my frame almost swallows them up. I was even told today by someone I should get a boob job to be more in proportion. I'm devast aged to say the least.
I saw my surgeon today who obviously was sad that I was upset about the outcome but I almost felt that she was saying I got what I asked for. Yes I asked for natural breasts but I also wanted to be able to see a shape and be in proportion for once.....which I'm not. All of which I thought I had communicated clearly during the consultation. I'm gutted to have gone throught all this and be disappointed. She said she wants to rectify the situation and we've agreed to meet in 4 weeks once they have settled down some more but at what financial cost to me to get them the way i was hoping and expecting them to be. I'm so upset. I can't fault the surgeon as the breasts do look very natural but I do feel I was advised incorrectly with regard to the size.
Has anyone experienced this? What was your outcome. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thank you xx
