i really want larger breasts but am TERRIFIED of getting complications that will cost me thousands of dollars to try to fix, and ending up having to have an X planted anyways and left with scars and a flat chest. Which is worse than what I look like now.I hear a lot of women say they're very happy that they went through with the surgery, but a majority of those ladies have only had them in for a short amount of time. Less than two years. It's good to know that, because at least it gives me an idea that there are many people out there that can go 2 years without complications. But I am more or less interested in women who have had implants for maybe eight years and more. How many complications have you had? Revisions for what? Capsular contracture? Feeling sick for no apparent reason?I realize that capsular contracture can happen within months or up to 10 years later. But I do believe the longer you have the implants, the higher your chances of getting capsular contracture. I'm okay with the idea of replacing my implants every 10 years. I understand that they are not a forever sing. But I also have seen many women who have had three or four revisions and 10 years. I'm curious how many women experience that who have had their implants in for a long time.I am trying to be informed and I'm doing a lot of research. The problem is is that most women I see him only had him in for a couple of years and are super happy. And after that it seems like the only one in that right are the ones that have had issues. But that doesn't account for the women that are actually happy. Because I assume those women don't write a message boards they just live their lives happily. So what is driving me crazy about making this decision is that one I have read personal stories a lot of them happen to be nightmares. Or as I mentioned women that have only had them in for a short amount of time. The honeymoon. I keep hearing about. LOL. When I read about statistics it looks like capsular contracture happens according to surgeons 1 to 5% of the time. According to other statistics research and studies it happens anywhere from 8 to 30% of the time. I have even read a couple of Statistics where it's up to 52% of women get capsular contracture within the first 5 years and have to have revisions. These statistics are way too vast. It is way too much difference. I can handle someone same 8% and then the other person saying 14%. But 2% to 52% is a huge chunk. And what I'm trying to do my research and be informed, this makes it completely impossible. So really I want to hear from everybody. But especially ladies who have had their implants for longer than eight years. What kind of complications did you have how many revisions did you have and do you regret getting them? I want them and I'm willing to change them out every 10 years till I'm sick of them but I'm not willing to take a 52% risk to have three revisions and five years. I just don't have the money and I don't want to end up flat chested, scarred, and completely broke and in debt in the end. Sirry so long....but Im seriously torn about statistics. I believe a well informed woman can make decision when data makes sense and data clearly shows consistant statistics. Im having a hard time finding reliable data. Big thanks fir all you ladies willing to share.
