Dr Wood has been great so far.. Very patient and nice... Makes me feel comfortable.... We will see how surgery goes and I'll post again to let you know how I feel about him then..
Going in a week for my surgery super excited I have had a apron since the birth of my oldest daughter. I went from 120lbs to 210 while pregnant with her. She stretched my stomach out beyond recognition. The following year my middle son filed all that extra skin back out but I was a stay at home momma back then and got the baby weight back off immediately... 7 long years later I was divorced...
I paid $50 for a consultation with Dr. Daniel Wood in WV. I am in need of a breast lift and augmentation. The surgeons on this website said that I would benefit from a lift so I wouldn't have larger saggy breasts with just implants. I get to my consultation and was told I don't need a lift and he refused to do my areola reduction. I told him I would go elsewhere for surgery because I was not happy with the size and shape of my areolas. Well with that being said, he agreed to do it. He said he would put my implants through an incision in my breast crease. I asked why not through the areola since I will already have a scar there? He said he doesn't "like to do it that way". So that means I would have a scar on each breast that isn't necessary. He said he wraps his patients with an ace bandage after surgery and that the bandage stays on for a week. I see the majority of doctors putting their patients in post op sports bras so this was my second red flag. I finally got my quote and it was outrageous! $10,500 for implants and areola reduction (and he refused to do the mini lift)... I am obviously going elsewhere based on my consultation. And may I add that he has awful bedside manner and does his surgeries ancient style.
Hello, how are you all today. I'm 19 years old and I have decided to get a breast augmentation. See when I was 8 I was diagnosed with cancer. I had all kinds of surgeries and a number of chemotherapy and radiation. And because of all of this I never developed any breast. I don't want to get them for anyone else but my self. I want to feel more feminine and right now I don't have that. My...
I am 40 years old and have had breast implants for 15 years. I have regretted them for most of that time. I went back to my original surgeon twice to ask him to make them smaller or remove them and he would not. He said I was young and I would thank him eventually. I was suppose to be go from a A cup to a C cup. I woke a DD cup. And I have felt like they were too big from that day on. In 2006...
