I had an amazing experience with Dr. Rostami! The treatment was quick, little to no pain, and I felt completely comfortable throughout the whole process. The results are stunning — my lips look natural and fuller just like I wanted. I’m so happy with the outcome and highly recommend her for services.
My experience here was very amazing and very comfortable. I got eyelid surgery and it was done in a very professional way in all aspects. From making my appointment to receiving me and to when it actually was done. I would recommend this place to anyone looking at their services.
I have always been insecure about my eyebags. It's genetic. I knew it would get worse with age. I tried fillers and felt like it wasn't super effective for the cost. I finally made the jump and decided to do it! I got a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning and a CO2 laser on my whole face. I will update when I'm done healing as my bruising is still present. Suuuuper happy so far! Updated on 13 Mar 2022:
After years of dreaming and researching lower face lifts, I finally took the leap with Dr. Rostami. It proved be the absolutely right decision with the right medical professional. Due to my age (sixties) and major weight loss, my face and neck were full of excess, saggy skin. It was painful to look in the mirror at the old woman I had become. Dr. Rostami's name was provided to me from three other physicians and that bolstered my confidence. Nonetheless, I was apprehensive about such a major decision. In the initial consultation, Dr. Rostami put me at ease with her professionalism, calm demeanor and comprehensive evaluation. She patiently answered my questions while thoroughly explaining the proposed procedure. I never felt hurried or pushed to make a decision. I decided to proceed with the surgery which Dr. Rostami performed at the convenient Sanctuary Cosmetic Center in McLean. The helpful Care Credit financing option made the expense within my reach. From the first consultation appointment to every subsequent interaction, Dr. Rostami's team members treated me with the utmost courtesy, respect and timeliness. Clearly, Dr. Rostami selects and holds her staff to the highest performance standards. The surgery and recovery progressed exactly as had been described. There were no surprises. During the post-op period, I was comforted knowing that Dr. Rostami was reachable by phone, if needed. The recovery process was awkward and uncomfortable, but not painful. There was lots of unsightly bruising and swelling as Dr. Rostami had outlined beforehand. The results surpassed my expectations beyond any measurement. Words cannot express how pleased I am with the outcome. Without exaggerating, the surgery took twenty-years off my appearance. I no longer have the dreaded double or triple chins. Instead, I have a real jawline like I did in my youth. My single regret is that I waited to call Dr. Rostami. If you are considering this procedure, I strongly encourage you to schedule a consultation with Dr. Rostami. I am so appreciative of her technical expertise and surgical skills. She has earned my strongest possible endorsement. Dr. Rostami embodies every quality a patient could want in a cosmetic surgeon. She consistently displays ethical behavior and holds the patient's well-being paramount to her decisions. Dr. Rostami is as much an artist as she is an impressive and talented cosmetic surgeon. Make the call -- you will be glad you did.Thank you Dr. Rostami and your entire team! You are the best!
For several years, I would stare at my ugly eyelids feeling hopeless. Surgery was not in my mind. I tried to find non surgical solutions and could not find something that could convince me. After so much thought, at age 52, decided to have upper and lower blepharoplasty . I’m so thankful that Ifound dr Soheila Rostami. She performed my surgery in July 2020. It was the best decision that I made. I admit that during the healing process , I was very impatient. I wanted to see results fast. Then, I understood that healing takes time. 6 months have passed and I’m so happy with the new look of my eyelids . Her and he team are very professional and always answered my questions . I recommend doctor Soheila Rostami, she is the best ocular surgeon in the DMV. Updated on 26 Jan 2021: When I look the before photo, I don’t recognized this face . My ugly eye lids, made me look that I was tired all the time even when I was not. When I look at the after photo, it feels more like me. I don’t look tired even if I’m. I can’t help looking on the mirror all the time. I’m so happy with my results. Thank you doctor Soheila Rostami!!!
Dr. Rostami is such a talented surgeon and doctor. She is well-deserveth of her three board certifications as her work speaks for itself! She is 100% one of the best plastic surgeons on the East Coast. She is such a kind soul and truly cares about each and every one of her patients.
At 66 I decided I needed some maintenance work on my eyes. Researched the upper and lower blepharoplasty and Soof lift procedures. I researched the procedures and surgeons and finally selected Dr. Soheila Rostami as my surgeon of choice for her ocular surgical expertise, artistic eye toward results, and because I have seen the fine, subtle results of her work on people I know. I'm only day 6 into my recovery and won't get my stitches out until day 7. The surgery was painless -- I did not need pain pills or even Tylenol post op but I do have a high pain threshold. I will tell you my eyes were and still are very sore, dry and get tired easily but I knew that would be the case beforehand. I have followed pre and post op instructions to the letter! I still look like I was on the losing end of a boxing match because I bruise so easily. I am impatient to have full recovery behind me and when I go back to work after one more week off I hope and pray I will look a whole lot better! In the meantime, I am posting pics to help people decide if they want to have this one. I will keep posting until I am pretty well healed. Fingers crossed for optimum, natural looking results. Updated on 3 Sep 2020: I had dark hollows under eyes. My right eye was looking lower than left eye. I had a lot of loose skin on eyelids and my right eye vision did not seem as good because of drooping eyelid. I have permanent makeup so that is why I look “made up” in all the recovery photos. Updated on 4 Sep 2020: Dr. took the stitches out this morning . I can’t put any makeup on upper or lower eyelids but I am able to put Dermablend coverup on the red and yellow bruises all over my face. Since I’m alteady home for another week I went ahead and got Restylane in upper and lower lips and marionette lines. My analogy about all of this: It’s like redecorating your old worn out decor. You paint the living room and then your foyer looks like crap so you do more work...and spend more money....but what the hay, I’m thrilled with Dr. Rostami’s and Dr. Naz’s work and so far I’m loving my results. Eyes feel so much better with stitches out!! Eyes are still a bit sore but no issues with that. Now, if I can just get rid of red and yellow bruises all over my face I’ll be back to normal. Make that better than normal!!! Updated on 9 Sep 2020: Looking much better today and I know for sure now that I am so pleased with the results. Complete healing will take 9 to 12 months so results should only get better. Eyes are still a bit sore but they do not hurt. Left side of left eye still swollen at stitch line and has a tiny lump but size has decreased over past 2 days. Still using antibiotic drops and prescription antibiotic ointment over scars. I have 2 more days before I’m allowed to put on mascara (rest of my makeup is permanent) and I have another appointment with wonderful Dr. Rostami in October. Updated on 14 Sep 2020: I think I can leave my house now without residual bruising bleeding through the coverup and foundation. I normally can get by just with tinted sunscreen and no foundation but not now!! Have a little bump on outer left eye and eyes still a bit sore. Scars on eye lids getting less noticeable. I am getting comfortable enough to say that I absolutely love the results of the surgery and still happy I went forward it, no regrets. Updated on 24 Sep 2020: I’ll be healing for a long while to come but I do think I look fine in public now. Started wearing eye shadow today as top scars looking much better. Bottom lids are still showing a couple of bumps that are edu o hide with concealer. I am even more thrilled with the results each week that passes. When I look at how bruised I was the first week compared with 1 month later, I’m amazed at how well the human body heals itself. Updated on 9 Oct 2020: Eyes are no longer dry. A bit of a bump on lower side of each eye but not really noticeable if I use coverup. Have been moisturizing scars on upper and lower lids!!! I will post again in a year. Updated on 11 Nov 2020: Scars barely visible and continuing to heal more every. I moisturize upper scars and under eye read every event. I have received many compliments about “looking good”. So, I guess I do look much younger than 67...so happy I had uppers and lowers done! Updated on 27 Feb 2021:
I’ve been a client of Dr. Rostami since 2016 and she’s amazing. I see her for under eye and cheek filler. She's extremely skilled and delivers results that enhance your natural beauty without looking overdone. Very honest and patient, and provides in-depth explanations of procedures. The Sanctuary staff are so warm and professional. Great customer service overall.
I have always wanted a proportioned body. I am a 38C with a flat butt. I had been looking into Sculptra for the past year and I was very hesitant because there are not many reviews about using it to increase butt size. When I heard Dr. Rostami was offering it I decided to try it because I trust her to do a good job and she has been doing my under eye, cheek, and jawline fillers with awesome outcomes. This is how/when I had my injections: January 2019 - 10 vials; February 2019 - 10 vials; June 2019 - 10 vials; and July 2019 - 5 vials. Dr. Rostami had me stand while she did the injections with needles. It stung a bit and was a little uncomfortable but nothing I could not handle. I have numerous dimples/cellulite in my lower butt cheeks so she concentrated on that portion. She also put some in my hip dips. After each session, I had 3 treatments of Endymed radiofrequency on my butt to help the sculptra do its job. I massaged the areas 5 times a day for 5 days. My butt was super sore for a few days after the first 2 sessions. I also had a lot of bruising for 2 weeks after each session. My husband was intrigued by how my butt was slowly growing. He said I have plenty of jiggle now. I first noticed an increase in size 4 weeks after my 1st session. It just kept gettng bigger till one day about 5 weeks after my 2nd session I could barely get into my jeans! My skirts were tight too and I had curves. I could not believe it. I did not take before/after measurements but I would say my circumference increased by several inches. I had my 4th session yesterday on July 24 so I certainly expect more growth in the coming weeks. Each vial was $500 so I paid a total of $17,500. It was worth every penny to me! I feel so confident and my clothes fit so well now. My husband is very happy with my new shape too. Patience is definitely key in this process. After my 2nd session in February Dr. Rostami wanted me to wait 5-6 months before doing another session to give the sculptra time to work. That was a long 5 months. It is slowly filling in the dimples but I still have a way to go. I attached a before/after pic and I will upload some more tomorrow. I am happy to answer any questions about my experience. Cheers! Updated on 25 Jul 2019: Updated on 18 Aug 2019: These photos are 7 months after my 1st session of 10 vials, 5 months after my 2nd session of 10 vials, 60 days after my 3rd session of 10 vials and 22 days after my 4th session of 5 vials. I believe I have full results from sessions 1 and 2 but certainly not from sessions 3 and 4 yet. I have noticed at least for me it takes a minimum of 3 months to see results. The pics that I posted in July were immediately after my 4th session so I still had the initial volume from the shots. I have lost 8 pounds due to sickness but that should not affect the sculptra. I forgot to add in my initial post that I did 4 sessions of Emsculpt on my butt in May 2019. It gave me a little lift but results are on going for 6 months. Remember I am not working with any significant volume of my own so any lift and/or added volume is greatly appreciated! Haha. I plan on waiting until October to see how it looks and then decide if I will go in for more sculptra. Cheers. Updated on 19 Aug 2019:
I saw Dr. Rostami for restalyne fillers + skin care products. I have had seen several board certified several plastic surgeons form my fillers and for skin care product. I have also been to poor quality med spas for other treatments. Overall, I really like Dr. Rostami. Below are some thoughts: Pros:- Dr. Rostami has a great deal of credentials. I felt that she was respectable. I was happy with my results. She's double board certified in ophthalmology, so if you're seeing her for eye-related issues, you're in good hands. - The center she runs features many different skin procedures which makes things convenient. You can see them for virtually any skin issue you're facing from stretch marks to dark circles to acne issues.- They take before/after pictures seriously. Before your treatment, you sit in a special photo room with very precisely-placed stickers for consistent before/after photos. I've been to some doctors where photos are taken on iphones and ipads or on regular cameras in poorly lit rooms. I understand using those for hard to see areas, but for fillers? Ridiculous.- They validate parking! Nice touch for the DC area where parking alone can set you back 20-30 dollars when seeing a doctor. - They have many specials and deals by the month as well as a discount during your birthday month. This is rare for reputable plastic surgeons. Usually gimmicks used by med spas that are unsupervised by a plastic surgeon.- Nice and clean facilities. I've been to some surgeons offices that look less steller. - Staff are generally good. Front desk is always friendly and receptive. In my experience, the business manager can have an attitude problem...I'd try to avoid him. The esthetician is extremely patient, professional, and takes time to explain things to you. I never feel like she's trying to sell any product or treatment to you. She seems honest, but her knowledge seems limited. She tends to give you lots of vague non-answers that draw on her personal experience as opposed to her education or science, studies, research, or medical expertise. You feel like you're speaking to a YouTube skin guru rather than a medical professional in a plastic surgeon's office. If you're getting procedures done by her, make sure you ask Dr. Rostami any questions you have in case she can't answer them. I say this goes for any esthetician. They're more affordable, but their knowledge is limited.Cons:- Even when taken to the back, the wait areas are not private at all (very thin, see-through curtains separate just 3-4 very closely placed chairs all facing the same direction) and can make shy patients uncomfortable. Thank god no one has tried talking to me while I was waiting. You will be numbed and pre-treated in patient rooms but then sent back to wait. Sometimes you'll wait for a very long time...but that's to be expected from doctors.- Sometimes it can feel like a med spa as opposed to a doctor's office, but it's not as bad as other places. These are my honest reactions to seeing Dr. Rostami, all in all, I do recommend them and I will continue to go back!
