Mr Quaba is an amazing surgeon, final result was exactly what I was hoping for . It wasn’t the easiest of surgery , but his skill is outstanding and I wouldn’t use anyone else . Needed a tweeck after surgery which was carried out by Mr Quaba with no problems

From my first appointment, to my six month post-surgery check-up, Mr Quaba has been absolutely incredible. He gave me realistic expectations of what to expect before and after the surgery, and was reassuring and quick to answer any of my questions. I ended up having to move the surgery last minute due to other health issues, and the team could not have been more helpful in finding me a new suitable date. My nose was my biggest insecurity, and Mr Quaba took the time to explain what he would do during the surgery, and how he expected the results to look. The results have completely exceeded my expectations, and I am thrilled with how my nose looks. Many people say they didn't even realise I had surgery, until I show my before and after photos, as it is so natural looking. He has changed my nose without changing my face. My recovery was really easy - I was able to eat and go for a walk the day after surgery, and was back to work within a week. I had minimal bruising around my nose, or behind my ear where a bone graft had been taken, and I had little to no pain. I had one small concern, and Mr Quaba happily booked in a check-up to put my mind at ease, as I don't live locally and wanted to see him before I returned home. It ended up being completely normal, but he was still patient in explaining what was happening and how to deal with it. If I could give him six stars I would!

Dr Quaba was very professional throughout my whole journey with him. He has exceptionally knowledge on breast augmentation and helped guide me through the process. I was able to explain my personal issues and detail what I was looking to get out of the surgery. Dr Quaba was able to give me exactly what I had envisioned. Dr Quaba gave me his true opinion and using his extensive knowledge was able to suggest sizes of implants etc based on what I had told him. I am so happy with the result of my operation and would recommend Dr Quaba to anyone that is thinking of getting a breast augmentation.

I wanted to wait until the majority of swelling had gone done before writing a review. I can happily say that I didn't expect such great results after prior trauma to my nose. I had a more complex case. After breaking my nose when I was a child, I had a septoplasty under the NHS hoping that it would improve some of the issues that had persisted into adulthood. Unfortunately I was left with a groove that went off to one side and a bump on the bridge, as well as an asymmetrical tip with a bit of cartilage that protruded from it. The surgery had brought about more issues and I became very self-conscious about the appearance of my nose. I had an initial consultation online due to covid measures with Mr Quaba about revision rhinoplasty and talked through the potential options including fillers to address the concerns I had with my nose. I had another consultation in person where he assessed the structure of my nose, but did not want to make a decision without viewing previous images that had been taken 14 years prior before and after my initial surgery. Again, he discussed the risks and benefits and encouraged me to consider my options. Once he managed to get the images from my inital surgery, he invited me in again at no extra cost for a further consultation to explore whether I would be a good candidate for surgery. He decided that I could proceed with surgery, if that was what I wanted. He further explained that if this was the case, that it would require a graft to be taken from behind my ear during surgery to achieve better results. Again he covered my options and asked me to take some time to think about it. I was very anxious about undergoing surgery given the previous history with my nose, but I truly appreciated the time and consideration that he took with me. It allowed me to feel more confident that the results would improve my quality of life as he did not rush the consultations, was realistic with expectations and made sure that he had all the information before deciding whether it was a surgery he was confident in undertaking. During the initial recovery I was very swollen! It has taken some time for the swelling, especially at the tip of my nose to subside. I am now at around 1 years 2 months post surgery and I am very happy with the results and appearance, it exceeded my expectations. If you have had prior trauma or surgery with your nose, I would absolutely recommend Mr Quaba. He is a fantastic, caring surgeon who is willing to take his time to understand your prior history before making any further permanent changes which is so important. Thank you, Mr Quaba.

I had an open septo-rhinoplasty with Awf Quaba on June 7th 2023 at Spire hospital in Edinburgh. I always wanted to have my nose straightened and the bridge and tip shortened. Dr Quaba listened to what I wanted, but was realistic with what could be achieved. He was very thorough and calm as well as patient during our consultations. I was hesitant about having the surgery as I’m a complete perfectionist and control freak. After seeing the work Dr Quaba had done, I knew he was very skilled, probably the best there is. I was terrified of the surgery and recovery. The hospital staff were amazing, and the full recovery was completely painless. I couldn’t believe it. I only felt pressure in my face from swelling. I think the pain-free recovery is down to how experienced Dr Quaba is. Cast off day: my nose was still very swollen, it was tender and I still had some bruising, but my nose was straight and I could see the projection had been reduced. I am now nearly 3 months post op. Although there is still some swelling I am so happy with my nose and how natural it looks. I am so happy that I chose Dr Quaba.

I had an excellent experience from initial contact to post surgery. Mr Quaba is the only surgeon I wanted to deal with as he had been highly recommended. As soon as I met him I knew I would be in safe hands. He has the nicest manner and explains everything really thoroughly so you feel fully informed throughout the process. I cannot thank Mr Quaba enough for doing such an excellent job. Janey his pa was also a pleasure to deal with and I had the loveliest anaesthetist too. Would 100% recommend the Quaba team.

Mr Awf Quaba is an amazing surgeon. I had breast augmentation in July. From the first consultation I had with him I knew he was the surgeon for me. He made me feel so comfortable and on the day of my operation himself and his team were just amazing they made me feel at ease the whole time. It’s been almost 4 weeks since I had my procedure done and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Mr Awf Quaba he’s an amazing surgeon and a lovely man.

I had a rhinoplasty 8 years ago (with a different surgeon), I was left with an overprojected and asymmetric tip and too much was taken off the bridge. This left me feeling very insecure about my nose. I was extremely nervous when going for the initial consultation with Mr Quaba about a revision rhinoplasty, but his gentle nature and kindness put me at ease straight away. He was realistic with expectations but reassured me that he could improve the shape of my nose if I chose to have the surgery, although it would be a complicated procedure. There was no pressure from Mr Quaba to go ahead with the surgery if I didn't want to, he actually made me go away and think about it before deciding. I had my surgery a week ago and just had the cast off today. I can't put in to words how happy I am with the result, my nose looks so much better, even with the swelling! Mr Quaba has been so friendly, professional and caring throughout the whole process, meeting with me before and after the surgery, and making sure to be there when I got the cast off today. He really does care about his patients and is a fantastic surgeon. Thank you Mr Quaba.

I'm so grateful I got a recommendation to see Mr. Quaba for my rhinoplasty. He listened to what I was looking for (a straighter, slimmer version of my own nose) and was thorough in explaining exactly what to expect, how the procedure would go, and his own vision for my nose. I didn't want a copy/paste nose job, and he clearly thought about what would be best for my face and what would work with my nose. I'm a little over 2 weeks post-op now, and the recovery is/was much easier than I expected. I'm guessing this is thanks to Mr. Quaba's skill, as I bruise and swell easily. Most importantly I'm so happy with my nose!
