Great experience

Loved him. Very confident doctor at doing gastric bypass surgery. Great results. Goofy style made me at ease before surgery. 4 weeks later I am amazed at my progress. Highly recommend this doctor. Would do again

Lower End BMI - Richardson, TX

Hi everyone. I am 5'1, 36 years old with a starting weight of 188, BMI 35. I am on the pre-op diet now. I am excited, scared, and nervous. I hope/plan to update throughout my pre-op and post op experience. I have taken my measurements but do still need someone to take some good before photos. I get the "you don't need" it comments from most people, UGH. I have struggled for years to stay relatively on track at 140 to 150 pounds The last year or so after giving up all variations of dieting (I have tried them all and the diet pills). My weigh has dramatically increased. I have a strong family history of morbid obesity, which is very scary to me. Updates to come. I would love to hear from other folks with BMI similar to mine. Updated on 4 Oct 2015: I am not seeing the scale move... ugh. I am afraid my metabolism is so slow from years of bad habits that the sleeve will somehow not work for me. For years and years i kept the weight at an ok level by only eating once a day. My metabolism is at a crawl. As so as i started eating more than once is when my weight went way up. On the pre op trying to just do 2-3 shakes or bars with one lean meal may still be too much or something. I feel hungry though. I have a visit with the dietician later today. Maybe we can get to the bottom of this. Updated on 11 Oct 2015: I am ready. Lets do this. Where are my other Monday October 12th peeps? Good luck to you all. Updated on 15 Oct 2015:
