On May 6th, I had a mastopexy (breast reduction) with removal of my 12 year old saline implants and replacement with new silicone implants. She closed both breast pockets to bring the breasts back in (they were far apart- I nursed all 3 of my kids and when I did, my breasts got huge so the pockets were very stretched out).
I also had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and fat injected into my face to restore lost volume in my checks and folds beside my nose and mouth.
The procedure was long (my surgery lasted 14+ hours). I stayed 2 days in the hospital. I am PO day 17 and had my stitches removed today. Everything is looking good so far!
Before getting my surgery done, I had gotten back in shape and lost all of my baby weight. I do cross fit and love to exercise. No matter how hard I worked at the gym, I always had a "pooch" despite having carved out abs along the sides of my tummy. My breasts were saggy too and, after losing my weight, you can actually feel the saline implant just under the skin along the underside. Plus, when I would lay down, they were practically in my armpits! My belly button was super stretched out too, which I just hated!

My stitches are out but I'm still swollen. There is a small accumulation of fluid around my TT incision in the center but the doc seems to think it is small and will resolve itself. I can't fit into all of my clothes because of the swelling but I think that's totally normal so I'm not worried.
I was worried that she made my nipples too low but she assures me that they will rise and I stand up straight and my skin stretches out. Oh, how I wish I could stand up straight!!! I'm so tired of the pulling feeling and my back hurts from hunching over. All in time, all in time...
I had my saline implants removed for silicone and I love the way these feel! They are so much more natural feeling, and lighter! I also had them reduced by 50cc so they are a tad smaller. The scars around my nipples are so thin and I'm really happy with that.
Other than that, I miss working out and my poor husband is getting tired of bearing the heavier weight of the household responsibilities but that too will pass.

Slowly, but surely, I'm gtting back to work and getting a little straighter. I'm still tender and sore and needing Advil or Tylenol 3 every day. I'm sleeping more flat too. My tummy is swollen above my incision but the fluid that was there seems to have gone. Normalcy still seems like a million years away but I know it WILL come. :)
