In August 2023, I finally had a sinuplasty and rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Kridel, and I can confidently say it changed my life. For the first time ever, I can breathe clearly—and I haven’t had a single earache since, thanks to my now-open airways and straightened septum. Because I trusted him so much, I decided to also have rhinoplasty during the same procedure. The results are incredibly natural yet transformative. Excellent. I had a rhinoplasty for a bony bump 40 years ago. It was better but the tip, which I thought was fine before looked unnatural. Fearful of ending up mangled, I just lived with it. I finally went to Dr. Reidel for revision 2 years ago. He reconstructed the tip with donor cartlilage and it came out fabulous looking, as if it had been there all along, very natural. Not only that, but because of life long allergies, I never had been able to breath through my nose. He also clipped some bones on the inside, and for the first time since childhood, I could breath through my nose. Everything was a success.

I had rhinoplasty surgery on Nov 23 2021. Dr Kridel and his staff provided me with five star care from start to finish. Choosing a surgeon was a daunting task so I’m writing this review to reassure those considering Dr Kridel in Houston. He is a true professional and an expert in his field. You will not be disappointed. The whole medical team on the day of surgery made me feel at ease and I was so nervous something would go wrong.The anesthesiologist explained everything to me which really helped. He has worked with Dr Kridel for twenty years. Either Dr Kridel or someone from his office will call you the night after your surgery to check on you. The surgery center will reach out to you the next day to make sure you are ok. Follow up care is very important for rhinoplasty so you will be seen several times in the first two weeks post-op.The results beat my expectations. I’m still swollen but I can tell that my nose will look better than the computer imaging. Be confident in your choice if you choose Dr Kridel. I can’t speak highly enough. Also, Dr Nicole Starr, the fellow working with Dr Kridel, is an absolute joy to work with and helped answer all of my crazy post-op questions. Thank you Dr Kridel and Dr Starr!!

Life-changing. That is how I would describe my experience with Dr Kridel. He is the sweetest man. A true gentleman. Listens to everything you want and just wants to make you happy! It’s clear he is not primarily motivated by money. Also he is known worldwide for his techniques which he prioneered and teaches to other surgeons. Don’t let his low amount of reviews fool you. Most people who can afford him don’t review for privacy reasons because of their social status. A lot of his clients know about him by word of mouth. He is old school and that is just how he operates. I respect that he doesn’t obnoxiously market himself the way other surgeons do. Anyway, I am 110% happy with my new nose. He has brought out the beauty that I have always felt on the inside and now it’s evident on the outside. I feel way prettier and relieved that my nose doesn’t overwhelm my face anymore. I'm thrilled; it's even better than I expected! The results are subtle to everyone else, but make a big difference to me (which I think is what most people want from plastic surgery)! Dr. Kridel is as good as it gets when it comes to rhinoplasty surgery. There are only a handful of true "masters" of the craft who are held in highest esteem by their peers (including myself) worldwide. You will not find a better surgeon anywhere.

I had an open rhinoplasty done by Dr. Kridel and was extremely happy with the outcome. He was a tad more expensive than some of the other doctors I consulted with, however his years of experience and his knowledge made me know I was in great hands. I didn't want to penny pinch when it came to altering something smack in the middle of my face. I can honestly say that he was worth every penny and he made my nose look beautiful. The whole process from scheduling consultation & surgery all the way through followup appointments was fabulous. I am normally a girl who has buyers remorse over most everything and I never felt like that. Making the decision to have a rhinoplasty done and making the decision to go with Dr. Kridel was the best decision ever. No regrets here!

I was always insecure about my nose. I hated taking pictures because my nose would be the only thing I would notice. So after I graduated high school, I decided that I should get surgery. I'm so glad I found Dr. Kridel, him and his staff were always there for me. I highly, highly, highly recommend this doctor. The outcome was great. Better than what I expected. It was worth every penny.

I became a grandmother at age 59! Elated and always wanting pictures with my little ones I noticed how much I hated my neckline ( no chin). I have always been so self conscious of my neckline and with age gravity had won. Two year ago when my mother passed away I think the stress and bit of depression added to the aged look! ! I'm a very active 61 year old and feel so much younger than I was looking! Talking with my daughter in law one day she mentioned my son had wished I would do something for myself! I've always been one to worry about everyone else. Lol. Of courses the expense made me feel guilty when there are always others that could use help. My daughter in laws mother had a friend that had used Dr Kridel and was impressed with their experience. I called and made the initial consultation and looking at Dr Kridels credentials and the fact that he helps battered women really made me feel in a way I could be giving back too! Knowing he works on the neck up only gave me the peace of mind that with his experience and technique in hidden sutures he was the one I would trust to do the surgery. I am glad I had the procedure. Initially, I was just looking to improve my appearance, but when I called the Doctor, they started asking questions about my breathing. I had broken my nose about 25 years prior and had surgery to repair my nose. Over the last 10 or 15 years, I have had increasing difficulty breathing through my nose. I was evaluated and told that they could improve my breathing and the appearance of my nose. It is so much easier to sleep at night now that I can breath through my nose so well. I also like the appearance of my nose.Updated on 26 Apr 2012:The recovery was pretty easy. The Doctor gave me pain pills and sleeping pills. There was no pain. I had a sore throat and trouble sleeping only on the first night. So, I only took a pain pill the first night. I took a sleeping pill every night until they were gone and I slept great. I went to the Doctor's office the day after surgery to remove the packing. They scheduled me for 2 or 3 more visits during the first week. Then 2 more at one week intervals. They let me come in more often to get some of the drainage suctioned out, which helps you breath easier. All of the follow up visits are included in the cost of the surgery. I scheduled my surgery around a Holiday weekend and so I was off work for a week and a half. Nobody said anything when I returned to work. The splint was removed around day 5 and replaced with tape. The tape was removed around day 10. You are physically limited to nothing more strenuous than walking for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, you can do anything except have physical contact. After 4 months you are released to do anything. I went snow skiing at 3-1/2 months and I was fine.
