WORTH IT$25,000
I became a grandmother at age 59! Elated and always wanting pictures with my little ones I noticed how much I hated my neckline ( no chin). I have always been so self conscious of my neckline and with age gravity had won. Two year ago when my mother passed away I think the stress and bit of depression added to the aged look! ! I'm a very active 61 year old and feel so much younger than I was looking!
Talking with my daughter in law one day she mentioned my son had wished I would do something for myself! I've always been one to worry about everyone else. Lol. Of courses the expense made me feel guilty when there are always others that could use help. My daughter in laws mother had a friend that had used Dr Kridel and was impressed with their experience. I called and made the initial consultation and looking at Dr Kridels credentials and the fact that he helps battered women really made me feel in a way I could be giving back too!
Knowing he works on the neck up only gave me the peace of mind that with his experience and technique in hidden sutures he was the one I would trust to do the surgery.

You look amazing! You must be thrilled. Thank you for sharing your pics. Im having a lower facelift and necklift with a chin implant in chicago this november. What size implant did you get? Do you have any advice that would be helpful?

Thank you! I don't know the size of the implant but will check on the 31st when I go back for my appt.
I took the advice of my friend that said eat as clean of diet with protein and low sodium. I like wine but also stopped that 3 weeks instead of 2 before surgery. This helped reduce the swelling. I did bruise but then I tend to do that easily anyway. I did eliminate all vitamins and Advil 3 weeks instead of the two.
Don't worry about sleeping in a recliner or propped up (I fretted over this because I did sleep on my stomach) you WILL get used to it!
I did start arnica and bromelain a couple of days before surgery.
As long as you have done your research on you Dr...trust him and his team!
We each heal differently I never used ice on my face and I faithfully wore my chin strap day and night 3 weeks and then just at night for another week or two.
Sorry for the lengthy reply and best wished to you. One of the best decisions I made!

I drank protein shakes twice a day and very soft foods or low sodium soups for my other meals the first 7-10 days. SAMs club has a high protein shake that's low calorie! Really rates pretty good. I'm out of town but I think it's called either premium or premier
Also another tip is to get a child's toothbrush so that it's easier to brush your teeth with .

would you say a chin implant changes the way you look to the point where you almost don't recognize yourself or does it just enhance the feature to make you look more like yourself? Do you know what I mean?
October 15, 2015
Friends and family have told me and I agree that it enhanced. If you look at my before you can see I really had no chin. Most have said it was so natural along with the facelift I just looked like I was well rested and happy. Of course when the see my profile there's no question I had surgery.

You look Absolutely Phenomenal! I have been doing some extensive research and I am planning to go for a consult with Dr. Kridel. I had upper and lower bleph done and I now need a revision to the outer corners of my eyes and possibly a mid face lift and I am hoping he is the doctor that will be able to help me. Thank you for posting your photos and info! Some posts make me skeptical when no photos are attached and no responses are given....so thank you! :)
