I had a great experience with Dr. Shashoua and his team. They took me through all the steps in the process and were very personable and caring. I felt my recovery was set up for success and am very happy with my results. I would most definitely recommend this office.

Love the staff! I felt confident in pre and post op care. Dr. Shashoua takes the stitches out around the 2 week mark and it made the rest of the recovery a breeze. I was back to golfing after that 2 week appt. I am very happy with my results and it has significantly improved my life! The ONLY thing I didn’t like is there was a student or intern (I’m assuming because there was no intro) in the room for my operation. He was not helping hold my leg during the operation, if anything he was resting his arm on my leg so I had to use more effort and by the end that left leg was shaking. He was also left to help clean me up after the procedure which he did with direct wiping that was IMO way too much pressure. It was very painful after just being stitched. It made me flinch on the table and his response was oh did that hurt? The office was always available for any questions or concerns which was much appreciated.

I can honestly say, I did a ton of research! I saw a total of 4 different doctors before deciding Austin Urology was where I was suppose to be. From the on phone consults, to walking through the doors the first time, I knew this was where I should be and I would have top notch care. Brittany, Noel, Julianna were all amazing. True angels at their jobs. What a gift they each have. They truly ease your mind and anxiety. Their loving spirits make the entire process as smooth as possible. Dr. Shashoua is so professional, personable and kind. From pre op, surgery day and post op, he listens and takes such great care of you. I’m in this position because of a physician I put total confidence in after breast cancer. I was improperly dosed with hormone pellets causing my clitoris to enlarge, change size, cause debilitating friction daily and my clitoral good to lengthen. As an athlete (runner) it has been nearly two years of misery. Not to mention the embarrassment I have felt and struggles with intimacy. I am forever thankful to Austin Urogynecology for giving me my life back. They are all truly the best! I traveled very far to come to this practice and would do it all again.
