I had a facelift with Dr. Fernandez 6 months ago and I had the best experience! it's very frightening the idea to have a procedure such as a facelift as I had a long time thinking if I should do it or not. I had no self-confidence, didn’t want to go out to socialize, “hiding”. I lost interest in public activities; I retreated into my house like a cocoon. I lost me, Marianne. I didn’t want to be like that. I am a good, funny outgoing person, I have a good soul. I have an amazing husband. We live in a fantastic country. I HAD TO DO SOMETHING. I thought about the complete facelift day and night. I talked to my husband, day and night, ha, and finally decided to go for the complete facelift. From “never to have a facelift”, to DO IT anyway. It takes guts, I was terrified. NEVERTHELESS, I had so much trust in Dr. Fernandez and team, I was able to overcome the anxiety and go through with it. January 2023. Complete face lift. The surgery went very well. No complications. I woke up with a very heavy head. No pain, of course I was giving painkillers. My husband was there of course. Dr. Fernandez explained everything went well. Carolina, the manager of the clinic, Dr. Fernandez daughter, is an amazing lady. She is always there for me, throughout various procedures. Supportive and caring. She helped a lot to give me the courage to find myself again. Love her. The downtime and recovery time felt very long for me. I had a lot of pain, especially my ears. The head compress band I had to wear 24/7 was horrible. Claustrophobia. Couldn’t eat, drink or sleep. Sitting up constantly. My husband nursed me 24/7. Ice packs, medicine, cleaning of wounds. He was incredible all the time. We were explained what to do, and we did everything correctly. The pain and discomfort are all NORMAL. But honestly, I was in a lot of pain. I think it was about 3 weeks of real down time. I don’t remember exactly timings. We have been told the procedures in detail, there are no hidden surprises from the Clinic. It is what it is. Some people are more sensitive than others. They called several times to check on me, also on weekends, and were exceptionally attentive all the time. I couldn’t ask for any better Doctors and team. The time went by, the pain was less, and I see the changes in my face. I didn’t ask or expect to look 20 years younger, to being “40 again”! I just wanted to look like me, a 60+ years woman. I DID IT. THAT’S ME. It is hard to comprehend what I have been through, before, during and after. The scars from facelift are so perfect, you don’t see it at all. It was incredible to see MYSELF, the Marianne I lost, is back. I go out, socialize, see friends, have a great time with my husband, he is my soul mate, best friend and greatest of all. Continuously, I have regularly treatments with this incredible doctor. She is one of a kind. Again, some treatments are painful for me, she is doing her best to reduce pain. She knows I am overly sensitive. Most importantly, she understands my “needs”, what fits me best at the time. Not too much, not too little. She is also very honest, explaining some procedures are possible, some not, in my case. She is very professional, sweet, beautiful, a wonderful lady I am happy to know. She is doing miracles for me.. Im so happy with my decision! Having surgery with Dr. Fernández Blanco has undoubtedly been one of the best decisions of my life. I underwent an open rhinoplasty and a double chin liposuction at the same time and since then, I always recommend Dr. Fernández Blanco and his team. I had a consultation where he listened to my needs, he did a simulation of how my nose would look, so i can have an idea of what to expect and answered all my questions. I was 100% sure that I was choosing the best professional. The postoperative period did not hurt at all and the result was so much better than I could have ever imagined. My experience was fabulous, my mouth was a bit deformed by a previous implants and the doctor fixed it and left me beautiful one, and I got rid off my complex. The doctor was very professional at all times, explaining all the steps clearly.
