I had sliding genioplasty with Dr.Birbe in December 2023, and I'm super happy with my results. Unfortunately, I had abnormal gum reaction to the stiches (something that was out of the Dr's control), but I got the support and help that I needed. This Dr. Isn't only skillful, but he also seems like a super nice guy.

I've struggled with Sleep Apneoa and very loud snoring for a very long time. It was getting worse as I've gotten older and could see myself using Cpap. I was getting around 3 hours sleep a night and drinks several cups of coffee in the day to help me stay awake. My blood pressure was high and generally felt crappy. I alway looked and felt tired. I decided I had to do something before it damaged my health long term. Mandibular advancement or Jaw surgery is the a procedure that offers very rates of success. It's a big operation so did alot of research and found doctor Joan Birbe. He was reasonably priced compared to other but this did raise some concerns about the quality of the service. We had a couple of Whats app video calls and a face to face meeting in his clinic. I found him to be very relatable, kind, caring and helpful. He orginally trained in the US for this procedure and has 27 years of experience and his own clinic. He offers a no nonsense but considered approach. I decided to move forward but had lots of concerns. He was very empathic and patience. He guided me and put my mind at rest, answering all my questions and concerns. I have no regrets and the results are amazing. I've got my life and health back, plus his deep understanding of facial aesthetics means I look great too. Oringally the plan was to also do a genioplasty as part of the operation but Dr Birbe suggested It might not be necessary and we should hold off and see how the standard jaw advancement looked. He was spot on in his assessment. Which saved me thousands of pounds. He did what was best for me his patient rather than take the money. He's an honest man who acts out of integrity and professionalism. In my opinion his skill and artisty as a surgeon is exceptional. I now sleep through the night like a baby, silently and peacefully and look great. I will be forever grateful to him and his staff who were supportive and professional throughout the process. I highly recommended the services he offers. As a child I was diagnosed with prognathism CLASS III but I could never do any treatment until adulthood. The correct treatment was orthognathic surgery, but for me it had several drawbacks: high price, difficult postoperative recovery and no support from my family. Then, at 30 I opted for a CAMOUFLAGE TREATMENT: first orthodontics with extraction of 2 lower premolars and then a chin reduction. I did not want to be beatiful, I just wanted to have a NORMAL FACE. I am a 40 yo man from Italy. I can only say good things about Dr. Birbe: all the results were exactly as expected, I rate them 10/10. About the doctor himself, he has always been very nice and extremely professional; every single thing i heard from him was true and correct and talking to him one gets the feeling that he does actually care very much for his patients in a human way. I am saying this because of other clinics into which one might feel some kind of stress or unwanted pressure during the consultation. This is not the case: every time i went to Dr. Birbe's clinic has always been a pleasure, very informative, and an expericence capable of somehow lifting up my spirit overall, of course, paired with some very positive results. Due to this trust we built in years i have no doubt he will be my reference and my first choice when it comes about aesthetic surgery.
