WORTH IT
As a child I was diagnosed with prognathism CLASS III but I could never do any treatment until adulthood. The correct treatment was orthognathic surgery, but for me it had several drawbacks: high price, difficult postoperative recovery and no support from my family.
Then, at 30 I opted for a CAMOUFLAGE TREATMENT: first orthodontics with extraction of 2 lower premolars and then a chin reduction. I did not want to be beatiful, I just wanted to have a NORMAL FACE.
I performed the mentoplasty with Dr. Birbe, maxillofacial surgeon, he must have the best curriculum in Barcelona and the country.
The recovery I thought would be lighter, but in just one week I already rejoined my job.
I share photos although the preoperative photo is very bad (I did not take photos because of my defect, I hated my profile).

Well you don’t look normal, you look beautiful!
Thanks, Aleinad!
Did you have sliding genioplasty or burring the bone?
It's a sliding genioplasty. I understand that burring the bone is for small imperfections.
How much did they take off? Was recovery bad?
6 or 7 mm (I can't remember). Recovery is hard during first 5 days but in my 7 day I begin to work.
How much did it cost?
do you have any tightness or stiffness in the chin or lower lip
