I did 4 Exilis treatments on my face and I couldn't be happier. My friends started complimenting me a few months later. I have to admit I didn't see much improvement in the beginning, but after a couple of months everyone saw it. My cheeks and jowls are much tighter and my neck looks younger. Erin, who did all the treatments, was very knowledgeable and professional. I felt comfortable and she had a trick for every skin issue I had. I think I may start Botox next! I will keep updating.

I have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Polachek and with her outstanding professional staff. My first visit to see Dr. Polachek was to discuss an upper eye lift. Dr. Polachek discussed my expectations and what she could do meet those expectations. I felt confident in Dr. Polachek’s surgical expertise and never once was I nervous about any part of my procedures which included an upper eye lift, brow lift, Botox, and facial fillers. I will return to Dr. Polachek for any and all future needs and have recommended her services to family and friends. BTW – if you ever could see my before and after photos you would be calling her office right now for a consultation!

Getting ready for my tt and lipo. Can't wait - excited and nervous all at once. Glad to have found this site and feel good I can prepare effectively with creams, cold packs and proper garments. Also, looking for advice on what to tell my 3 young children as I do not want to give them a negative impression about their bodies. Updated on 27 Aug 2013: 2 weeks and it'll be my turn. Pre op appt with plastic surgeon was yesterday. I am all paid up with surgeon, hospital, anesthesia. I am doing this. It is really happening. Nervous and scared still. Even nervous to post my pre op photos. I just hate how i look. Cannot wait for my day. Anxiety ridden. Updated on 9 Sep 2013: Ok - down to the wire. I go for my long awaited tt. Anxious! So, for the last month I have been collecting items that I will need post surgery to make myself more comfortable. I put them in a box. See my photo, then, see my husband Updated on 13 Sep 2013: I walked into hospital feeling nervous. But all nurses and docs made me so comfortable. I received the epidural and sedation. Doc said i might wake up. But, i didnt. I decided not to go with general Anastasia as they pit a breathing tube down your throat then you wind up with sore throat. Spent the night in hospital and ps changed my gauze/dressing. I couldnt bare to look at the hip to hip cut. So i didnt. I can already tell a huge difference in my belly as well as my thighs. So excited. In addition i have little filling up my drains. I barely bother to empty them as they have little in them. My only complaint is that it feels as tho someone is sitting on my chest when lying down. Not so much when sitting up. I will update with before and after photos soon. Updated on 15 Sep 2013: My drains are not capturing much. My follow up with ps is Monday at 10 am. Hoping ps will remove my drains then. I can feel sharp pains and i think its the stitches where drains are located. Still taking pain meds for pain. Feeling good tho. I will upload photos soon. I am excited to do this because i look different and feel that i have achieved my goal. Yeah! Updated on 17 Sep 2013: Almost 1 week down, post op. Yesterday, doc took drains out and changed dressings on belly button, incision site and drain site. Today i should be excited to take shower per doc orders. My first shower in almost a week. I dont want to look at my belly or clean wound sites. Nor do i want to take off my compression garment to take the shower. However i do want to wash hair, body and shave my legs/under arms.... so, i am going to eat a healthy breakfast and psych myself to shower. Glad my shower has a shelf seat so that i can sit and shower. My back hurts! Updated on 19 Sep 2013: BEFORE photo is night before tummy tuck and lipo on saddle bags (thighs). My main concern at 50 years old was my sagging chin and I started to have jowls. The neck lift was a breeze, the lower face lift is a bit tougher as the incisions on in front and behind the ears and take many months to heal.I am 13 weeks out and it is weird that I can feel where the muscles were tightened and some of the disolvable stiches. I also like to sleep on my side which increases swelling. Overall though my chin is lovely and I just have to hang in there till everything heals. It really hasn't changed my life except I don't jut my chin out in pictures to hide the double chin. I wish I knew beforehand how extensive even a lower lift is and was but then I guess I would have chickened out.

It's been about a week since I had Botox done at a plastic surgeon's office. I chose a plastic surgeon for a few reasons. First I already had one slightly droopy lid, and was worried about putting myself into less experienced hands for this reason. I didn't want my slightly droopy lid to get droopier! Second, I wanted a professional with professional understanding who could help if my lid did get droopy-and good malpractice insurance if she couldn't! My experience was painless and simple. I got injected in five separate areas-two above brows on either side, and one in the middle. No pain, just a pinch and slight swelling afterwards. I did feel some strange sensations in my throat/upper chest, but that may just have been anxiety. I'm usually very sensitive to my bodily sensations and this freaked me out a bit, so I told the doctor to hold on the second area I wanted to get done. I'm going back next week to get crow's feet done...which I've heard is slightly more prone to botox migration. I hope it works out just well. I followed the doctor's instructions to a T-I walked around like I was balancing a book on my head the rest of the day and avoided exercise for 36 hours. The doctor was genius-she put a tiny bit more on my non-droopy side (left). Now that eyelids droops just slightly and matches my right! It's perfect. I look more relaxed and I'm seeing my glabella wrinkle disappear. Love it.

Doc was not on time, was self-absorbent, disinterested in patient, oblivious to patient pain and discomfort, and non-reponsive to patient distress due to errors. Did not help lines on forehead. Still had furrow lines despite expensive procedure. Doc was not helpful or responsive to ill-fated procedure.
