Thank You for Fixing Another Surgeons Botched Breast Augmentation

I am so thankful to have had Dr. Nuveen as my surgeon. From the very beginning, he was kind, patient, and reassuring, which made such a difference during a stressful time. He explained everything clearly and never made me feel rushed or like just another patient. Throughout this journey i did run into complications MY BODY did not react or heal the way it should have. I was scared, confused, frustrated, but Dr.Nuveen and his staff assured me that everything would be ok and that gave me comfort! I followed his directions exactly as i was told and it paid off. The surgery went better than I could have hoped, and I truly feel his skill and dedication made all the difference. What stood out even more was his compassion and genuine care—not just for my recovery, but for me as a person.I can’t recommend Dr. Nuveen enough. He gave me confidence, comfort, and excellent results, and I will always be grateful for the care I received from him and his staff!! I can’t thank you enough Dr.Nuveen for your patience!! -Amber Vera

Breast Implant Removal with Breast Lift

After having implants for 16 years I was finally ready to remove my implants, I gained 44 pounds from when I first got implants do I should have decent boobs. I thought about it often for a full year and finally decided to schedule the date for removal. I contacted nuveen office because he had previously removed and replaced three times. Let’s start with the scheduling process. I should have noticed red flag when trying to schedule and do online consult I sent pictures as requested and had to call them to follow up and ask them to give me an answer as to weather or not I would need lift or capsule removal. First answer was no breast lift or capsule removal because dr didn’t mention it in his payment plan.. Sooo I asked her again can you ask him to confirm I will not need a lift or capsule removal bc I’m not ready for a lift... I would have done more research for sure. Well I call her again after not getting a call back and she said the dr said no breast lift or capsule removal. I then paid and waited for operating date. On day of surgery dr tells me how bad my breast will look without a lift and my nipples well be looking at the floor... So I felt pressured to get breast lift and I said no I’ll see what they look like without it, and his facial expression was like that of disgust so I said ok I’ll get the lift, just like that I made a quick decision and I gave regretted it since. I feel like it’s a horrible nightmare. I often wonder, like every day what would I have looked like without lift. So today I just want to show my results do people can see what happened to me. Updated on 22 Mar 2021: So I guess after seeing other woman who have explanted I decided mine were actually good. My results were decent. I still think extra tissue was removed because I had almost zero breast tissue but overall i guess I’m ok, next surgery was fat transfer to breast.

47yrs, 1st BA Chose NATRELLE 605 SCF Gummy Bear Implants. I Love Them!

I have celiacs. I bruise really easy and it always looks really bad. I had several consults that the surgeons weren't comfortable after I stated " I will bruise and it will probably turn black." About a week later I developed a hematoma in the right breast. Dr. Nuveen and his nurses noticed it right away then off to the surgery area we went. He notified his staff of the emergency so they could let his other patients know there would be a delay. I didn't realize it was an issue just thought it was a normal bruise. They had me fixed up in about an hour. So far my new breast are healing well and are starting to drop. I love the way I look in clothes for the first time in my life. Everyone is amazing there. They answered all my questions and put me and my husband at ease. There is always someone available for any emergency at anytime of the day. Updated on 2 Oct 2019: I'm 3 months post, my breast have dropped and feel soft. All of the bruising is finally gone. I still have some numbness and tenderness in the lower poles. My muscles have started to get feeling back in my chest. My implants are under the muscle. Updated on 8 Dec 2019: I am so pleased with the results. Just got fitted for my new breast. My final result is 34DDD. I was barely an A cup. The Lady that did my fitting was so nice. She said that mine were the best she had seen. Kudos to Dr. Nuveen for listening to me and how I wanted to look. Most of the feeling has come back. Love the way I look.

Mommy of 3, Wanted Bigger Boobs 520cc 5'4" 126 lbs

I was always a small b cup, sometimes and A. With breastfreding I was a full C. After having our 3rd child amd breastfeeding for 2 years mu boobs were an A and saggy. I wanted to be a d and for my size my Dr. Recommend 485 cc. I was wondering if 525cc would work and he didn't kmow if I would be happy with those. But he said when he got in there if he could comfortably fit the 525 and he was able to. I am so far very pleased. My surgery was today. It took about 45 minutes and I was pretty groggy for a few hours after. I am taking Norco and Valium. Don't wait for the pain to set in. Take your medicine on time. I will post before and after pictures soon. Updated on 7 Oct 2018: I am only really sore in the mornings. I still take some pain medication. I have just a little bit of bruising. I can' t wait for them to drop!! I was a 34 or 36 barely b before and received 520 high profile gummy cohesive gel implants. Updated on 7 Oct 2018: I had 520cc high profile and nipple revision. Under breast and under muscle. Here are day 1 day 4 photos. In quite a bit of pain on day 1 and day 2. Make sure to take a stool softener from the beginning. Updated on 6 Nov 2018: My breasts have dropped a lot and I have no pain at all. They are soft and I don't have morning boob pain anymore. I am very happy with my results. I was a 36C while breastfeeding and went back to an A cup. I was measured the other day at a 34DD or a 32DDD and was very comfortable in both.

Rhinoplasty and Juvederm Ultra Plus in 27 Yr Old

I debated whether to write a review on this, but I decided to share my journey to hopefully help others along the way. I've previously had other procedures that I've written about on realself, but my nose was something that I've hated since i was 14. I just learned to live with it over the years and contour it with make up, but i finally said enough was enough and i decided to take the plunge and change it. My sister had her septorhinoplasty first and when her results came out very beautifully I immediately scheduled a consult with the same doctor. I did a virtual consult because I lived a couple hours away. He also recommended an open septorhinoplasty for my nose as well. I wanted a more defined nose bridge, refined nose tip (i hated my bulbous tip) with a subtle supratip break. I also had a small bump on the right side of my nose that bothered me because it would make my nose look crooked in certain lighting. A couple weeks before the surgery I decided I wanted to try out juvederm for my lips. I already had full lips, but I thought it would be fun to see what they would look like enchanced. I can tolerate needles, but I was terrified of them going near my lips so I asked if they could do it while I was sedated in surgery and they agreed to do it while I was in recovery before waking up. The day of surgery I arrived at 7am and they had me change into the typical surgery scrubs. I went through my patient history with the nurse. Dr. Nuveen had a fellow and another resident there that morning so I spoke with them first. I didn't mind being a teaching opportunity as long as Dr. Nuveen was the one actually doing my surgery. They took my before pics and I talked with them about my goals, which they then relayed to Dr. Nuveen before I got to meet him in person officially. Dr. Nuveen was really kind. He took the time to explain what they would be doing to achieve my goals. He said that if I did not have enough cartilage to harvest from my septum then they would need to use my ear, which I consented to. He also suggested I do juvederm ultra plus for my lips. He said they would look overdone at first but would settle within a week. After I got the IV put in and some of the meds I don't remember when I fell asleep. After the procedure was over I was still sedated but I could hear and sort of feel what was going on. So I did feel the needle pricks from the juvederm, but it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. It could also have been because of the pain meds. I woke up with my clothes back on and they helped me into a wheelchair and they took me to my husbands car. Dr. Nuveen does not use packing so they told me to use gauze to blot my nose because I would be bleeding for about a day or 2. Surprisingly my nose didn't hurt and they did not have to use ear cartilage. The most painful part of that day was my lips. They hurt so much I couldn't even drink with a straw and they were so swollen and puffy. He was not lying that I would look crazy!! But they started settling after a couple days and stopped feeling sore by the 2nd day. It also made a huge change to my smile. My smile is usually very hyperactive and I show a lot of my gum line in photos, but the filler really helped. I love my lips so much idk why I didn't try it sooner lol. And btw, the doctor called me while I was on the way home to check and see how I was doing which was so awesome because I didn't expect that at all. (I didn't eat the entire day because my lips were so big and painful) I go back in at 4 days post op to remove my splint. They didn't require me to go back for my 1 day post op because I was going to come back soon anyway and let me just send pics. So far I have not bruised at all. Idk if it's just my genetics or if he's just really gentle. My sister didn't bruise either. My nose stopped bleeding by the 2nd day and its just been feeling a little drippy, but it's clear mucus. As far as change goes it's very dramatic when I compare the pics side by side and I love it!! I'm nervous to see what my nose will look like after the splint is removed but I'm excited to finally see my new nose and wear make up again. Updated on 17 Apr 2018: I went to get my splint removed. It was somewhat uncomfortable especially around the nasal tip. They cleaned out my nose with hydrogen peroxide and a q tip and they let me see my nose. It's still very swollen, but I still love it anyway. I had thick nose skin so they had to thin it down to get the nose tip I wanted which it is still swollen and will take the longest to resolve. I can't wait to see it when it heals. Updated on 18 Apr 2018: I don't know how to hide my incision since it's still healing and can't put make up on it. But I'm still loving my results and now that the juvederm has settled I absolutely love my lips. They are still the same just enhanced. I think these changes make me look more youthful. Updated on 27 May 2018: I lost track of time. My doctor said it was uncommon to see such a good result so soon after surgery. I'm still loving my nose. I had to go back to get a kenalog injection to help with swelling in my nose tip. I brought up about how the top of my bridge was starting to have this shadowing on one side like the bump I had before. He said he was aware of it and we would just have to keep watching it as everything heals over the next several months. Updated on 7 Oct 2018: Sorry guys I've been so negligent with my journal but I've been going through a messy divorce which sucks in general. Anyway I have a 4 month post op pic. I've been really terrible about taking pics for my journal. I'm still loving my nose. The swelling is still going down. I'm very glad I did it. Wish I did it sooner!

I HATED my breasts never EVER went without a bra that added at least 2 cup sizes and was 2 sizes too large. Didn't wear bathing suits, i was completely embarrassed of my breast. I was completely terrified to go in to surgery as o had beget gove under anesthesia before nor had surgery. But dr nuveen and his staff made me feel at ease. It was fast. It hurts Wang's there is nothib you can do abou about that i mean its surgery. But Here I am 3 days post op and hoping that when the the swelling goes down it doesn't take to much with it!!! !:-o Updated on 9 Apr 2018: Pretty sore still. They look good but they hurt to move. Still trying to take it easy but its hard to do. I think i pulled a muscle trying to get out of bed under my arm and on the side of my breast its extremely painful. Still love my boobs. Just need more understanding people around me. Oh and im constipated which really sucks too. Updated on 18 Apr 2018: I'm loving my new beauties so far. I did have a little accident on day 2 post op and while trying to get up tore my peck muscle and it's still very painful under my arm and I have a large lump that is very sensitive to touch (on my armpit near my right breast)or if I reach back or up too far it hurts really bad. It's also causing some delays in healing or "dropping" with my right breast. I can tell by the way they look. The left one looks much better, but I'm sure the right side will catch up. They are a bit uncomfortable at times and sometimes they burn a bit, but I think that's because the nerves are trying to fix themselves. I have NO feeling sensation at all in either nipple or bottom of either breast so far. My wounds are looking good and the tape is starting to peel off. No bruising left besides a tiny one in the right breast. Totally worth it Dr. Nuveen is so freaking awesome I could kiss him! Updated on 21 Apr 2018: Well now I am worried, the same side I hurt in the beginning is noticeably smaller than the other. I showed doc in text messages (same pics as here) he seems unconcerned and just said to "watch me" but hasn't seen in person. He also says it could totally be muscle tension. But if it is muscle tension will it fix itself? My BA is literally all I have ever wanted and have had to work very hard to get. This is so worrisome for me. I have asked other doctors here so we will see what they say. Not that anyone has checked out my review anyways, but hey just for the heck of it. LOL Kinda feel like im talking to myself as I post this lol Updated on 20 May 2018: Well I got sized for a real bra and am shocked...drum roll.....32 triple D.....that is freaking awesome!!!! They look HUGE with a bra on instead of a sports bra. Almost....(dare I say it)too big lol. However the right one still looks pretty different than the left. It's Smaller still and noticeable but I'm holding off telling my surgeon until I hit the 6 month mark (if it is still like that). And I don't feel like it's just me that can tell. It's pretty noticeable, I think. Let me know what you guys think this evening when I post pics please. That would help a lot. See ya this evening! Updated on 20 May 2018: Okay here is the pics I just took and it concerns me even more after looking at them! You will see why. I hope the right one falls right eventually but I have a feeling... Idk. What can I do to correct it? Is it my fault? Omg what do you guys think? The left feels awesome too, soft and perfect, just like it looks. The right is soft but bit as soft as the left especially on the top near my arm pit it still feels tense. What should I do? Is it just meet our is it easily recognized without a shirt? Updated on 9 Jun 2018: Hey everyone, my breast are still different unfortunately and today it is very noticeable as you will see. I have actually been sore in both breast the last couple of days which is strange because I have not been sore in quite a while (like a month or more). I noticed that I have some very faint stretch marks and my scars have risen pretty high. My nipples seem to be in the correct place, but I don't know how much more they can go without starting to point up. I plan to get some scar medication for the stretch marks and the actual scars, but I am really trying to just let them do their thing naturally for right now, hoping that everything falls into the correct position. To me it almost looks like a smaller implant in the right (your left). They are very soft and bouncy which is not what I expected, to be honest. I love it! I still have literally no feeling in either breast -not anywhere- including the nipples and sometimes the rest of my body is warm but my breast are slightly more cold, lol. I hope that goes away eventually. Perhaps when/if I get feeling back that will stop. This only happens if I go without a top on for a while, which I do not do often, as of now. Let me know what you guys think! I really hope they both start to look like the left breast. I do not want to have surgery again, but I will if need be. ~XoXo Updated on 21 Sep 2018: So I recently got resized and taken down from triple d to double d. Thy actually fit my body better now, so I am not complaining about the shrink in size. They are still very different shapes and sizes because of the shape. Trying to just wait, try to not freak out. I can't do anything about it now anyways. Patience. Besides they can surprise you from one day to the next so you never know how they will look in the end really. Here is my bikini shots. Man they look really good in a bikini (padding hides the shape of the bottom of my breast which is where its bad) Updated on 21 Sep 2018: Forgot to add a pic darn it I hope it lets me post without writing a novel. No it is going to make me write a novel. So I will add that my scars are in way different places one is about on the line and one is about half way up my breast between the fold and my nipple. Updated on 18 Jan 2019: So I have an update for you. Doctor sent me an email back saying that he was going to do in my revision surgery: I asked him why did this happen and he said "an inadequate or uneven capsule formation". I asked him what he was going to do and he said "he will be doing a minor breast tuck and a release of excess scar tissue". What do you guys think? He says it'll cost more if I wait longer than a year. What do you guys think? Is this what you think is wrong and what I need? I'm going to ask other Dr's on here as well. Aren't I bottoming out? Updated on 12 Apr 2021: So i had a baby and my boobs got HUGE!! Stretch marks, huge nipples, and ugly! But i could still breast feed my baby and I did for a month. I gained a lot of weight when i was pregnant. I got up to 175lbs, but am now close to 130. My boobs also shrank back down to almost normal size but move a LOT more than they used to. They look absolutely natural now. But i liked them better before. Thank god my nipples are shrinking back too. They were massive. Will post pics soon. Updated on 16 May 2021: So I regret getting my breast done before i had a baby! I would recommend WAITING until AFTER you have children to have your breast augmentation. As much as it kills me to say that, I wanted a boob job more than anything, before I was 30. And that is what I got! And at 30 guess what I got........? PREGNANT! The only reason I could see someone would want a boob job before kids is if they want their boobs to look and feel exactly like they are natural! You would never guess my boobs are fake now that is for sure! So the first photo is 2 weeks after my baby and I was breast feeding (yes i could still breast feed I had no issues with that) ,therefore, my boobs were full of milk. I was a DD before pregnancy and at their peak my boobs were, at least, DOUBLE the size. Close to triple the size. So whatever double a DD is (size) is how huge my boobs got. My nipples also got triple the size they were before as well, and 10 shades darker too! I also got stretch marks on my boobs. So basically do not get it done before babies or you will regret it. I now need a lift which is more money than the boob job was.

Thank you just doesn’t seem enough.

I have no idea where to even begin with this review except from the beginning. A little about me, I’m 42 years old and grew up in a very strict body image type home. After having children I “let myself go”. For 15 years I was severely overweight. About seven years ago I decided it was time to make a change. I lost 85 pounds through better eating choices and exercise. But then I was left with saggy skin and these areas of fat that no matter how hard I worked I couldn’t lose them. I decided I wanted to have a tummy tuck done. After researching countless doctors and reading many stories on here I decided to call Dr. Nuveen’s office. His staff is the most polite and helpful group of people I have encountered in a facility such as this. When I finally had my appointment I was so impressed with the facility and staff that I knew no matter what I wanted to have my procedure here, but I still had not met the doctor. Once the consult was concluding Dr Nuveen told me that he would be happy to do a tummy tuck for me, but he didn’t think I would be happy with the results considering there was a lot of fat and saggy skin on the backside that needed to be removed as well. I went into an immediate tailspin. He was recommending a lower body lift. I was not prepared for this in any way. But I felt confident that if that is what he recommended then that is what I was going to do. Once I was hime and processed I realized I had a lot more questions I needed answers to. Without hesitation his staff set up another consult. Dr. Nuveen was so patient with me. He answered every question I had. By the time I left his facility again I was never more sure where I wanted to have my procedure done but also who I wanted to do it. I can not tell you how happy I am that I made this decision. I am 28 days post op and I feel amazing. M stomach is completely flat. My incisions are all but healed. I had very minimal pain after procedure. Dr. Nuveen gave me my life back. He gave me my happiness back. For that I can never be thankful enough. I truly believe in this man. I believe in his knowledge, technique, and I feel like he has the best support staff around him. I would recommend anyone considering a lower body lift to do a consult with him at the very least. Even if you have a bit of travel, it won’t cost you anything but time. I truly hope this helps someone out there that is looking for their own path to follow. This procedure has already changed my life and I had never been happier than I am right now.

40 Years Old..finally Able to Have BA! - Oklahoma City, OK

Hi! I just turned 40 years old and was finally able to have the breast augmentation that I've wanted for years...after raising 4 kiddos, it's my turn now! Dr. Nuveen took a lot of time with me helping me decide what size to go with and whether saline or silicone was right for me...I was thinking about 400 cc silicone, but he told me that for my build (5' 9" and 170 pounds) I would really need to go bigger, if I wanted to see much difference (I was barely a B cup to start out with, barely) So, we went with 650 cc silicone under the muscle....and I'm SO glad he suggested that I go bigger!! I felt at ease the entire time I was in the office and I'm usually a nervous Nelly! ;) For anybody out there wondering if the surgery's worth it....IT IS!! I absolutely love my new additions! The only thing I regret is not being able to do it sooner! :)

1.5 Year Old Implants Removed - Oklahoma City, OK

I would like to start off my thanking all the women who took the time to write reviews in breast implant removal. You really helped me in my decision. I am interested in breast implant removal. Here are my pictures. I think they are too big for my body. I liked them for about six months, but have realized they are too big and want them gone. It is difficult for me to find clothing that fits my body right. I also have difficulty working out. And have pain under the implant crease where I can feel the implants. I'm also at a very different place in my life than when I got the implants put in. I'm about to graduate college and start my professional career and don't think my big boobs will fit into my lifestyle. I've researched the various alternatives and have come to the conclusion that removal is the best action for me. I scheduled my surgery 4/14/16 with the same doctor who put them in. Updated on 19 May 2016: I am so glad I went through with this. I love my results so far and they will only get better! :) Back to my own body. There is almost no sagging after the explant, that's what I was most worried about. It was a quick procedure, my doctor left the capsule in since my implants had not ruptured. It was also a very quick recovery- about 3 days.
