5 out of 5 stars Breast Lift with Implants
4 years after losing a hundred and ten pounds I live with myself looking in the mirror everyday and hating every reflection I finally had the guts to go ahead and get a breast lift with implants I am so concerned that I can finally look in the mirror without having to be sad now I have decided to do a full tummy tuck so I can feel proud of myself and won't be embarrassed in front of my husband...
I am less than 2 weeks away from my dream operation! I gained 60+lbs when I was pregnant and no matter what I do I can't get rid of the loose skin and stretch marks :-(... I will be getting a full tummy tuck and lipo of the flanks. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I expect great results and feel good about my decision. If anyone has any tips or advice on how to mentally prepare myself...
I am so excited. After 23 years and 5 kids I decided to get a Mommy Makeover. After several consultations and deposits I found Dr Gear. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff. I will have a full TT with Lipo and Muscle Repair and a Breast Lift. I can't wait to see my results. I hope to be in a bikini before the summer is out. I want my tummy tuck to turn out like this. That...
I've been researching ways and different accessories to buy to lose weight but it was getting stressful. I am 35, mother of a 15 yr old son and a 3yr old daughter. I've been married sense I was 18 so my husband knows how I started off...lol. I don't have a problem with my overall body, but looking at my waist and stomach over the years can get very depressing. I work 5 days a week and I...
5 out of 5 stars Smart Lipo
I had traditional liposuction about 2 years ago and had my chin, arms, abdomen, inner thighs, back and butt done. I was in extreme pain for days not to mention nasuea and severe bruising. I decided to go in again for liposuction but this time tried smart lipo. I just had my arms, butt, upper and lower back, abdomen and inner thighs done just yesterday, and besides being a little sore, I am up...
5 out of 5 stars Breast Augmentation
Dr. Gear and his staff were wonderful. Best results I could imagine on breast augmemtation. I came to Dr. Gear very dissatisfied with a previous plastic surgeon who spent very little time with me during consult and did not give me the look I asked for. Dr. Gear spent a lot of time with me during consultation listening to my desired look and discussing in detail my options. I am absolutely...
5 out of 5 stars Breast Implant Revision
I am a 41 year old with 16 year old smooth round 375cc Mentor implants under the muscle with distortion and capsular contracture. I went to several surgeons due to past surgical experience. I was very scared, nervous, apprehensive, and any other emotions I could feel. I didn't feel as bad as I looked I could even be fixed. It has been a struggle for years with bathing suits, dresses etc. I was...

5 out of 5 stars Brazilian Butt Lift
My overall post surgery experience was a long one, but worth it. I didn't sit for a month, which was very hard! But I think it's the reason I really didn't lose much volume. After a month I used a bbl pillow to sit. I am now 2 months post surgery and I still use a nippy pillow to drive. Overall experience- I would do it again. I get so many compliments on my shape now- especially when wearing...

Americans, like children, live in the eternal now. Thinking about the future (and the consequence of our actions) is a drag. Unfortunately, Plastic Surgery is for adults, and you need to think like an adult. That means carefully evaluating your decisions especially when it comes to your body. In the 80s and 90s, BIG BOOBS were in. Plastic surgeons were stuffing big implants into tiny girls, thus destroying their breasts and creating many “breast cripples” that required surgery ...
An abdominoplasty is a very popular surgery to undo damage done to the abdomen by pregnancy. Excess skin is removed, excess fat can be sucked away with liposuction, and those displaced six-pack muscles (aka rectus diastasis) are restored to their normal anatomic position thus creating a flat and more youthful abdomen. The recovery after a tummy tuck and potential complications are not insignificant, and surgeons are always looking for ways to improve safety and speed recovery. One co...
Looking youthful is a maintenance game. No matter what age you are, there are useful principles to abide by to look your best. The skin is the largest organ (yes, it is technically an organ) and as such responds to good care just like a liver or a kidney. If you abuse yourself, your skin will spill the beans and let the world know. Here are some basic, common sense guidelines to abide by: 20's: sunscreen, clean living and exercise! Teenagers and people in their 20s think they are ...
Brazilian buttlifting is the hot cosmetic procedure du jour. It has obtained an almost mythical status in pop culture thanks largely due to Kim Kardashian and the expansion of Latin culture into western culture. According to the ASPS, procedures involving the BUTT have increased 252% since 2000. There are three ways to improve the aesthetics of the butt: with fat (BBL), with silicone implants similar to breast augmentation, and through buttock lifting via skin removal. This article focu...
Recovering safely and quickly from surgery is no small task. This is particularly true of an abdominoplasty. People falsely assume that a “tummy tuck” is a Mickey Mouse, elective procedure. Nothing could be further from the truth. Like many excisional, plastic surgery procedures, a tummy tuck poses several challenges to the body that drains the bodies healing reserves, including a large, internal, raw space, tissues put together under tension, and increased abdominal wall tension from fix...
