Honestly I could not have asked for a better experience!! I’m completely blown away by the results! For the first time in my life, I’m comfortable in my own body. Except for the first 5 days or so, there’s been NO pain whatsoever and now I can’t imagine life without them. Dr Gear was very professional, patient and he knew exactly what size was most appropriate for my body. If I had a question, he and his staff were always available in the app. Incredible doctor, this is the best decision I’ve ever made! My survey was on 11/11/2024 and he went with 325 cc/ 350cc moderate profile under the muscle because my breasts were uneven. The surgery was quick! It was lights out, and when I woke up, the nurse sat with me until they felt comfortable enough to let me leave! The first couple of days were rough. I could barely sit up on my own, but after the first week the pain was gone and I was able to start driving without any issues. Beware of Neosporin though, it caused a really bad rash that cleared up in a couple of weeks!! A year later, it’s been smooth sailing!! They feel great, they look incredible, and the scars are barely noticeable. After 60 days I started doing light workouts and I think that’s been a major factor in how well they’ve healed. If you’re on the fence like I was for 15+ years, just know that you’re in great hands with Dr Gear!

50 years old here and I have been wanting a Tummy tuck for years . I had cancelled a few years ago due to sudden health issues and almost cancelled this time from anxiety but I am SO GLAD I DID THIS FOR MYSELF! I am blown away at my results. The staff here are amazing. Nurse Lee was outstanding at explaining the aftercare , calming anxieties , and answering any questions. Dr. Gear has exceptional bedside manners , takes his time and thoroughly explains the process and what to expect . I had been stalking his Instagram for a few years which is one of the reasons I chose him . He’s very knowledgeable and is literally an artist. Also GET the lymphatic massages, the massage therapist there Wendy is amazing . Highly recommend Providence plastic surgery.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Gear as my surgeon. I felt supported by him and the nurses through every step of the process. They also provided all of the information that I needed to prepare for before and after surgery. After undergoing surgery, I can genuinely say that the team at Providence Plastic Surgery is the very best- the anesthesiologist, nurses, and Dr. Gear made me feel very comfortable and safe, which calmed all of my nerves before surgery. I’m 3 days post-op now from a BL without augmentation and absolutely thrilled about my results because they look exactly like I hoped for and the scars are very clean lines. I am so grateful for Dr. Gear and his team and I can’t wait to see how my results progress over time!

Dr.Gear is amazing. I’ve lost about 100 pounds and my body was a mess. I was thinking of going to Miami for a BBL and then I came across him. Turned out he suggested not just a BBL but to have some skin removed from my hips as well to maximize my results. I am amazed at my body transformation. I’m comfortable wearing dresses and clothing I use to have to wear a shaper to feel cute in. He changed my perspective of my body. Him and his stuff are so helpful and they are amazing. They answered all my questions and replied in a speedy matter. I would recommend their team 100 times over.

I am almost 3 months post op and I am happy with my results. I went to Dr. G with major self esteem issues due to one butt check being bigger and wider than the other and my flanks/laterals not being sloped or shaped the same. I also felt my overall butt was HUGE, mishaped and too striper like. I never wanted the dancer or IG look I was given by a Miami doctor but felt stuck with it. I tried to have this corrected by several other doctors who ALL told me I was being delusional and that there was nothing wrong. They claimed I was looking for perfection. The nerve! However, each doctor still took my money and still performed what they called corrective or revision surgery, with me only to see the same things after surgery and thousands of my hard earned dollars spent. That was until I found true compassion and understanding in Dr. Gear. I don't live in North Carolina so I sent in my photos and after reviewing them he said he could CLEARLY see most of my areas of concern. He saw the HUGE uneven butt and said he could improve it. While he couldn't clearly see my flank complaints he said he would try to improve them based on what I said I was seeing wrong. He also suggested I get a tummy tuck to improve my overall appearance. Yes I needed a tummy tuck but was hesitant to add it because of the extra down time. Dr. G even added a few extra perks that I didn't pay for. He added lipo of my upper back, revision of a scar I had on my butt from a previous hematoma removal and a recovery goodie bag. The recovery bag is the truth; it has arnica, bromelain, all your recovery vitamins and scar cream. No need to order all that stuff separately. He added these things soley in an effort of a better overall appearance. Who does that as a courtesy just because they want you to look your best? After my surgery I woke up with a smaller shapelier butt and both cheeks are finally the same size. Whoopee! I also have a nice taunt stomach to to top things off. The before and after care of Providence Plastic Surgery's team is unmatched. Dr. Gear personally reached out to me in the days before my surgery and multiple times since. Ladies after care is important. A lot of doctors take your money, perform surgery and NEVER reach out afterwards ESPECIALLY if you traveled out of state or the country. Dr. Gear genuinely seems concerned if I'm happy with my results. There are a lot of doctors who perform this type of surgery and the pricing is all over the place. Literally from a few thousand to double digit thousands but please don't let pricing be your biggest factor as there are too many other things to consider. You can leave the country, go to Miami or anywhere in between but if you are considering Dr. G I personally think he's worth the extra bucks and the trip to NC. I will update with pictures soon. I got a Tummy Tuck, BBL, Upperback liposuction, Upper stomach and chin liposuction October 2021 The Tummy Tuck is great, the BBL is good. My upper back and chin looks like it was never liposuction. I don’t know what kind of liposuction equipment he use by I have rolls in my back and still a double chin. At my 1 year follow up appointment he said he would redo my back and chin. I called to make that appointment and he denied it. I suggest you record your follow up appointment. Im not a plus sized woman so I dont know why the liposuction didn’t work. Im very dissatisfied with that because was alot of extra money added towards my procedure with absolutely no results in my back and chin.

The entire team at Providence PS was incredible to work with. My nurses Tina and Amanda followed up with every question I had, made me feel comfortable & at ease with the whole process. I trusted them completely and that’s extremely important for a cosmetic surgery. Doctor Gear was very upfront about the process, gave me realistic and appropriate options for what I wanted (athletic, dancer) and the lifestyle I have. He was adamant about making them look natural and fit my proportions and look I imagined. Did an incredible job with what he selected and the surgery itself. I was referred to them by a friend and I will happily be the next to refer them to my friends.

Dr. Andrew Gear and his entire staff did a wonderful job on the Liposuction procedure that I had him perform on me. Dr Gears entire staff was very kind, courteous and helpful from my initial consultation meeting with them through the end of my recovery process. When it's come to DR Gear, not only he is very good easing your fear of surgery, he does an excellent job.
