Among The Best
It's been 1 year and 4 months since my sx with Dr. G. and after the swelling has disappeared and the mental Rollercoaster ride was over I am able to update my initial review.
My TT is beyond my expectations. My scar healed amazingly and my stomach is still flat, taunt and super sexy.

My lipo was done just right. There are no aggressive burn marks nor lumps and bumps.

Now for the reason I went to Dr. G initially, my big butt little butt and the odd shape of my silhouette. Well, both butt cheeks are definitely smaller which is what I wanted however, after all the swelling subsided they are STILL not the same size. The plus to this negative is each cheek definitely has a better shape and they are closer in size than before. Although I'm still not 100% happy I think Dr. G did a good job.
My advice is to choose him as your doctor the first time.

BBL Revision with Lipo and Tummy Tuck
I am almost 3 months post op and I am happy with my results.
I went to Dr. G with major self esteem issues due to one butt check being bigger and wider than the other and my flanks/laterals not being sloped or shaped the same. I also felt my overall butt was HUGE, mishaped and too striper like. I never wanted the dancer or IG look I was given by a Miami doctor but felt stuck with it. I tried to have this corrected by several other doctors who ALL told me I was being delusional and that there was nothing wrong. They claimed I was looking for perfection. The nerve! However, each doctor still took my money and still performed what they called corrective or revision surgery, with me only to see the same things after surgery and thousands of my hard earned dollars spent. That was until I found true compassion and understanding in Dr. Gear.
I don't live in North Carolina so I sent in my photos and after reviewing them he said he could CLEARLY see most of my areas of concern. He saw the HUGE uneven butt and said he could improve it. While he couldn't clearly see my flank complaints he said he would try to improve them based on what I said I was seeing wrong. He also suggested I get a tummy tuck to improve my overall appearance. Yes I needed a tummy tuck but was hesitant to add it because of the extra down time. Dr. G even added a few extra perks that I didn't pay for. He added lipo of my upper back, revision of a scar I had on my butt from a previous hematoma removal and a recovery goodie bag. The recovery bag is the truth; it has arnica, bromelain, all your recovery vitamins and scar cream. No need to order all that stuff separately. He added these things soley in an effort of a better overall appearance. Who does that as a courtesy just because they want you to look your best? After my surgery I woke up with a smaller shapelier butt and both cheeks are finally the same size. Whoopee! I also have a nice taunt stomach to to top things off.
The before and after care of Providence Plastic Surgery's team is unmatched. Dr. Gear personally reached out to me in the days before my surgery and multiple times since. Ladies after care is important. A lot of doctors take your money, perform surgery and NEVER reach out afterwards ESPECIALLY if you traveled out of state or the country. Dr. Gear genuinely seems concerned if I'm happy with my results.
There are a lot of doctors who perform this type of surgery and the pricing is all over the place. Literally from a few thousand to double digit thousands but please don't let pricing be your biggest factor as there are too many other things to consider. You can leave the country, go to Miami or anywhere in between but if you are considering Dr. G I personally think he's worth the extra bucks and the trip to NC.

My Thoughts One Year Later**********June 2024********* Dr. Andrew Gear is honest and genuine. He has a natural artistry that won't leave you with that you've had surgery look. He answered all my questions and spent a lot of time with me before and after my surgery. His facility is beautiful and the staff was quick to offer assistance. If you're reading this review it's because you're considering him. Do it! Yes, he's a little pricey in comparison to a lot of other surgeons but I think you get what you pay for most of the time.
