Anin45321, No one can absolutely answer this question without an exam. In general in your age group endoscopic brow surgery is the preferred approach. Make sure you see a plastic surgeon that specializes in only faces and has decades of experience. See he video and good luck!

Autumn, Choose a plastic surgeon who has decades of experience and specializes in only faces. They should average over 100 rhinoplasties a year. Do not look at computer imaging results to make your decision; look at the doctors actual before and after photos. Should they have a lot and you find them attractive you are probably in the right place. By the way, I do almost all virgin rhinoplasties closed. See the video and good luck!

Maryw1985, I see no need for anything as drastic as orthognathic surgery. That procedure in general should be reserved for patients with problems other than just cosmetic. See an experienced plastic surgeon that specializes in only faces and has a lot of good photos. We are our own worst critics, I see an attractive person. An in person exam is always preferable to get the best answer. See the video and good luck!

MysteriousWombat, Great name by the way. Yes it is possible to augment and/or reposition the columella although that is seldom the only thing done during a rhinoplasty. See an experienced plastic surgeon that specializes in only faces and averages at least 100 rhinoplasties a year. Make sure they have a lot of good photos of their own patients. See the video and good luck!

From my pre op appointments to my now post op appointments Dr. Freeman and his team made me feel so beyond comfortable and relaxed during all of it. My surgery went great and my recovery was a breeze. I’m now 5 months post rhinoplasty and my nose looks PHENOMENAL!!!!!! I seriously can’t recommend dr. Freeman enough.

Couldn't be happier - look much younger and feel more confident

Excellent. Beautiful, clean office and welcoming and friendly office staff. Surgery room on-site, so everything is right there. I had a forehead reduction and a brow lift. He really knows what he's doing. I listened to his suggestions and followed his recovery procedures very carefully, and couldn't be happier with the results. I look much younger and feel more confident.

He made sure my results were subtle and natural looking

Dr. Freeman and his team were great from start to finish. From pre-opt to post-opt, I felt so comfortable through the whole process. When you’re looking for the right surgeon, you need to find someone that does these procedures day in and day out. Dr. Freeman works only on faces and has done thousands of noses. There’s trust in knowing that the person who is operating on you is someone that has worked on so many people with many different faces. I asked Dr. Freeman to make sure that my results were subtle and as natural looking to my face as possible. In the first couple of months, the results were a bit jarring but they warned me that this was a process. I’m so glad I listened because TRUST ME, it was worth it. Exactly a year later: my nose is exactly what I wanted and my experience has made me wonder why I didn’t call his office earlier. Seriously. I am in love with my nose and the fact that I can breathe better. If you’ve wanted to change your nose or fix that broken nose, call his office! You will not regret it. The consistency in results speak for itself.

Currently almost 7 months post-op and I am loving my results

Dr Freeman is a very skilled surgeon! I am currently almost 7 months post-op and I am loving my results. I have been told I look 15-20 years younger and I am looking forward to continued healing and changes that come with that. I did have some complications with a bleed post surgery that have made recovery seem longer than it should be. But, I am female and i am not the most patient person in the world. I refer my surgery date as my rebirth day! The whole staff is wonderful! Dr Freeman truly cares about you and your outcome.

Happy with the Outcome!

My rhinoplasty procedure was in early March; I am in the fourth month of my recovery period, and I could not be happier with the results so far. My nose was large and sort of crooked and I feel that both of those characteristics have been corrected by the surgery performed by Dr. Freeman. When I met with Dr. Freeman to discuss having surgery, he explained he would use a closed approach to my nose, and he told me the things that he felt were going on with my nose relative to my face. What he told me matched the things that I wanted changed about my nose and after going home, reading more reviews and doing a lot more research about what Dr. Freeman said, I scheduled the surgery. I had a pre-op meeting where my surgery was discussed with me, and I was given written instructions and a lot of details about what to expect and what to do leading up to the surgery and post-surgery. One thing that was stressed heavily was that the surgery has a lengthy healing process and while things would vastly improve from day to day and week to week, it would take up to a year for my nose to heal, and that I needed to follow the post-operative instructions. The surgery itself went smoothly; on the day of the surgery, I met with Dr. Freeman’s team, and they went over all of the instructions and details again, and I also met with Dr. Freeman before going into the surgical suite. The facilities appeared to be exceptionally clean/sterile, and I felt very safe. My spouse was waiting for me after the surgery and the staff took me to the car in a wheelchair afterwards. At some point at home, I looked in the mirror and I looked pretty gnarly – LOL. After a week, I went back, and Dr. Freeman removed the splint and replaced it with tape; at that time he gave me a new set of at home care instructions to follow. A week later, I went back again and Dr. Freeman removed the nose tape (YAY!!) and gave me another set of instructions to follow. At that point, I could already tell that the results were a major improvement. I went back a month or so later to have my nose checked and received more care instructions to follow for a couple more months – and my next follow-up appointment is at the end of the summer. I could not be happier with the results of the surgery so far.

Love my Results! I would recommend Dr. Freeman to anyone

I have had an overall great experience at Only Faces. From the consultation to the post-surgical appointments, Dr. Sean Freeman and his staff have always been very helpful and make me feel comfortable there. I am very pleased with my rhinoplasty results, and I would recommend him to anyone. I go to grad school 3 hours away, and they have been very accommodating to my schedule for all the appointments.

A Master Craftsman!

I am postop day #6 ethnic rhinoplasty by Dr. Freeman. I am extremely pleased thus far. He truly is an expert craftsman. I could not have selected a better surgeon. I still have significant swelling as one might expect 6 days out of surgery but I can see the form of my new nose. I can’t wait to see what my nose will look like as swelling continues to resolve.

Dr. Freeman understood exactly what I was wanting to achieve

Deciding to have cosmetic surgery is deeply personal and not something that everyone understands. I actually like my facial features but I also felt as if my nose didn't belong. I had my dad's nose...too large for my face, a slight bump in the middle and it widened and drooped down when I smiled. I researched rhinoplasty for over 10 years and decided on Dr. Freeman based on the fact that he specializes in facial surgeries. My initial consultation was great, I was never rushed or pressured to schedule surgery. Dr. Freeman understood exactly what I was wanting to achieve and assured me that he could achieve those results without making it obvious that I had cosmetic surgery. During my pre-op visit, the nurse spent so much time with me explaining exactly what would happen the day of surgery. The day of the actual surgery, the nurse again spent a great deal of time explaining everything I needed to do after the procedure to properly care for my nose. I woke up feeling great after surgery and had absolutely no pain. The only difficult thing to deal with after surgery was not being able to breathe for about a week until my follow up appointment but I was well aware that this would be the case and that was something I was willing to deal with. Dr. Freeman called to check on me the night of my surgery and I was given his cell phone number to call if I ever had any questions. I would say that my rhinoplasty was very subtle (which is what I was going for). Dr. Freeman assured me that I would not end up with a cookie cutter nose and he would make sure that my new nose would accentuate my facial features. He definitely delivered on that promise. I am a surgical nurse myself and I can say that Dr. Freeman and his team are top notch. They really talk you through the entire process and make you feel totally comfortable. I would highly recommend him and his team and honestly wouldn't even bother going anywhere else!

Sean Freeman is the King of Noses!

Dr. Freeman is THE best rhinoplasty surgeon you could ask for. If I were you, I wouldn't waste your time or money consulting with anyone else. He will be very straight with you about his recommendations. His staff will answer any of your questions and concerns you have (I had a two page list, myself). I understand that this kind of surgery is a huge deal, and I think I was more nervous and afraid than most people (there were lots of pre-op tears, whereas most people are excited!)... but now my only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. I'm only 4 weeks post op, and even with some swelling, and already feel so much more confident. He also found some issues that were causing me breathing problems, and fixed those during the procedure - it's crazy how much better I can breathe now. Take the leap. It's worth it. Updated on 11 Aug 2020: The photo on the right is the final "after" photo he took, compared to the right (before, same angle) I'm now at a year post op and couldn't be happier. I do have a tiny, slight protrusion of some cartilage, but I keep pressing it to help "mold" the nose (which is what you're supposed to do anyway to help the healing process). If it's just a cosmetic issue, I don't really mind it, as the difference is DRASTIC regardless, but I probably will see him for one more follow up to have him look at it, to make sure it's structurally sound. I can also breathe so much better (I had some scar tissue removed as well).
