Dr Zenn was not my first consult, but he was my final consult and the hands down choice for my facial rejuvenation. I had several consults in New York before moving to North Carolina, and never had the comfort level I felt required to proceed with surgery. I came to Dr. Zenn after loosing about a 40 pounds of weight I had gained after a serious injury. After the consultation I knew he was the best surgeon for me. He was patient, an excellent listener and provided customized options based on my life style and desired results. We decided to go with a breast augmentation (450 ccs) with a lift which fit my frame and shape perfectly. I could not be more pleased with the results. They were the perfect size for my figure and for my active lifestyle of running and hiking. He is truly an artist, backed with impressive credentials and experience to help you gain the look that fits you best. The results are honestly beyond anything I expected with an unbelievably natural look and feel. Beyond his expertise and wonderful bedside manner, his staff are the warmest and kindest people. They listened to me whenever I called with a concern or question and most often Dr. Zenn would respond in less than 4 hours to any email sent. During our visits, I never felt overwhelmed with information or like I didn't have the information I needed. I am a nervous nelly too and I always felt like I was in the best hands possible. On December 26, 2019 Dr. Zenn and his team changed my life. I couldn't be more pleased with my breast lift. At age 65 you wonder if such a procedure is appropriate for someone your age. However, Dr. Zenn, Cindy, and Lissa were so supportive and reassured me that its okay to want to look and feel your best at any age. Hi! I am 5 days away from my surgery with Dr. Zenn and I am so excited, but nervous too! I am having 400, 415 or 430 (he's bringing them all into the OR) ultra high profile silicone mentor implants placed subfascial above the muscle with fat grafting around the implant for a more natural look and a fuller "upper pole". Dr Zenn will perform liposuction on my hip area to obtain the fat for the grafting. I am nervous about losing my hips because I am going for the hourglass figure look and love looking curvy, but I trust Dr. Zenn completely. He said that my hip bones will still be there so it won't change my shape completely (he said I have good hips for a breast augmentation). They are wide so I'm excited to be matched up top!! I don't like the beach ball implant look on top -so I'm glad he is making them more natural with fat grafting. Also as someone who is physically active under the muscle would separate the implants when I was doing push ups and planks he said, and would look obviously implanted. I am also having my ostomy scar removed from my abdomen. I am most excited about that. I am one year cancer free and through two years of fighting (and winning!) stage 4 rectal cancer I am getting my body back and am so excited to feel womanly and not like a cancer patient again! My boobs are actually swollen and hurt this morning because of hormones and I've been eating everything in sight! I'm hoping the swollen boobs don't make him go smaller for me. My left breast is larger than the right so I'm assuming the right breast will have a 400 cc ultra high profile implant and my left will have the 430 cc profile implant. It's hot here so I'm not excited about the heat and the only zip up I have is a light Patagonia rain jacket! I bought a wedge pillow off of amazon and have it ready here at the hotel for easy propping after surgery! I'll post after my surgery! Thanks for the support y'all! Updated on 5 Aug 2020: I had my surgery on Monday- currently home recovering. Dr. Zenn did lipo in my hips and lower abdomen and two little pockets under my armpits. Right before surgery he asked if I wanted the extra areas when he was marking me and didn’t even charge me for them! I had my lower right abdominal scar fixed from cancer surgery a couple years ago. When I woke up- he said he could only fit the 400cc ultra high profile implant in and because my breasts were so fibrous and enforced from hormones on the day of surgery he was unable to get the implant through the right nipple and decided to do a breast crease incision on both breasts for the augmentation. Final result is a lot of bruising and I had a lot of pain on my right breast upon waking. I am extremely swollen and bruised all over but I love the results already. Silicone implants are over the muscle with fat grafting around them for a natural look. They are super high and tight t the moment! I will keep posting update pictures! Updated on 11 Aug 2020: It has been a week and a day since my surgery. My breasts are softening slightly but still high and I hope swollen. I worry I may have gotten too big of an implant. I also gained 11 lbs in water weight after the lipo on my hips and underarms and fat grafting. My friend so saw me noticed my face looked chubbier than usual too a couple days after surgery. I am allergic to the adhesive used so I have some spots from healing blisters on my breasts but all in all the bruising and swelling is much better! I have a follow up appt with my surgeon tomorrow to learn to massage my breasts and I have a lot of questions that need to be answered at that appt. my advice- write down your questions so you don't forget them when you're in the appt! Has anyone else had experience with he breasts dropping and fluffing above the muscle? I'm wondering if min will drop and fluff sooner and am hoping they look more natural and possibly smaller at that time. They feel like torpedos on my chest right now and I don't feel sexy! Updated on 12 Aug 2020: Today is the first day that I’m feeling like myself again. I went and saw Dr. Zenn and had my stitches and steri strips taken out. I also got to see the result of my cancer ostomy scar revision. I almost cried I was so happy seeing it! It’s a thin line where it used to be a gash. My boobs are also growing on me! I think I am going to love them in a month or so when they drop a bit more. :) I also am down to only 6 lbs above my starting weight so my body is reshaping back after the minor hip lipo and other procedures that caused me to gain 12 lbs in swelling water weight. I’m happy :) Updated on 18 Aug 2020: My breasts are settling nicely. The right appears to be higher than the left so that’s concerning- especially the nipples pointing in different directions. I’ve read that this can be normal though and they may even out in time. I’m finally losing the weight from swelling and water retention after lipo too. I’m been doing my massages everyday and they are finally feeling like part of my body! Updated on 1 Nov 2020: My nipples are completely uneven, my breasts are uneven, I’m so mad I paid extra for this. I’m seeing him this month to see about getting this monstrosity fixed. This was supposed to be my post cancer glow up and now I just feel worse. I hope he can fix it for free since I already paid so much and it’s clear my nipples weren’t even right after surgery- they were before surgery. Updated on 1 Nov 2020:

I am in the medical field and had the opportunity to see examples of Dr. Zenn’s expertise in reconstructive surgery over the course of many (10+) years. At the time I had no plans to pursue cosmetic surgery but I knew if I did ever decide or need to undergo this type of surgery, Dr. Zenn would be my choice. I did Ultimately make the decision to pursue breast augmentation and now a year out I am able to speak from a patient perspective. I can truly say that i had the best experience. From the caring and flexibility of his staff, especially Cindy, facilitating my appointments from initial consultation through surgery and post-op, working with my schedule as I had to travel in from out of town, and assisting me in feeling comfortable with my decision. I am so grateful for Dr. Zenn’s excellent bedside manner, surgical expertise and caring, I could not have asked for a better experience. I was nervous about pursuing an elective surgery but I felt reassured that I was in such good hands with Dr. Zenn and his team, he calmed my nerves going into surgery and my experience was flawless including Post-op care and follow-up. Cosmetic outcome is so natural - Negligible scarring - hard to tell I even had surgery.

Dr. Zenn is amazing. He takes the time to listen to your needs/wants and executes them with the greatest of detail. He has not only rewritten my physical appearance but my internal dialog to myself is improved 10 fold. I cannot begin to emphasize the attention to detail and well being this office exudes. From Brittany at the front office to Cindy in the business area and Lissa as dr. Zenn's nurse, I received nothing but stellar care. I never felt like just another patient. I always felt like my concerns were taken seriously and when I had to text dr. Zenn on a weekend, I was contacted promptly and with the utmost care and concern.  I would not hesitate to go through the surgery again with this group. They are truly caring and amazing which is hard to find these days.

I'm a 30 year old woman with no children who recently lost 100lbs. I had my tummy tuck/skin removal surgery 1/6/20. I chose Dr. Zenn because I liked his candor, demeanor and his credentials are on point. So far, I'm happy with my choice and I'm loving the results. My mother had her eye lids lifted, a blepharoplasty, later in life when holding her eyes open while reading had become tiring.
