Dr. Vega is like no other plastic surgeon. You can tell he is NOT in it for the money when you see all of the Cancer patients he has helped. He has done 2 procedures on me. One my upper eye lids and breast augmentation with a lift. I was completely happy with both and as soon as I give him my after pictures, you will see his art work. He truly does care about you and will not entertain something you don't need. His office is great and his Med Spa...LOVE!!! Dr. Vega I may go for my 3rd procedure...Please remember patient loyalty!!!

I went to Dr. Vega after he was recommended by my female surgeon, to be part of my journey for my double mastectomy. I can’t say enough about him and his staff, in terms of their professionalism, respectfulness, compassion, and discretion throughout my process. Shoutout to Karen, Christina and Ann! Dr. Vega answered all my concerns and gave me honest and realistic expectations. I wanted the most natural looking outcome possible. We discussed options. We decided to start the reconstruction process by fat transfer from fat liposuctioned from my arms and upper back. Expected pain and stiffness, but this got better after 2 weeks, and only needed strong pain medication for a week. I have been so pleased with the outcome, the reconstruction feels natural, combined with the added bonus of having my arms and back no longer sagging and lumpy. Dr. Vega is truly an artist and cares about his work. I believe that the more you educate yourself beforehand, have realistic expectations and follow all their post procedure instructions, you’ll be guaranteed a great outcome.

Well my appt was supposed to be today. But received a all early aM have to move it until Wednesday so 2 more days err I was really looking forward to to finalize it before I chicken out lol yep still waiting and nervous about getting my tummy tuck surgery Im scheduled for September 12th so less than a month left. Anyone else scheduled for surgery that day?

I've always had small breast. I reasearched for about 3 years before I actually made my appointment. I am 125lbs and was a 32a before my surgery. I got 340cc of silicon gel implants and I'm a full 32c. Very pleased. it's been 2 months post op I'm still healing but they look amazing! They look so natural

Amazing. Life changing. This was not a journey I wanted to undertake, being diagnosed with breast cancer at 44, but after leaving Dr. Vega's office for the first time I finally had hope. His bedside manner was kind, caring and confident. At one point when I was in the hospital after surgery I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Vega not only took a call late at night to change my medications, he then came to see me the next day to continue to help. He went above and beyond. His staff is exceptional. They remember your name, call you at home daily to check on you after surgery and are there at all hours for any worry, no matter how small. Results were more than I ever could have hoped for. The first day I went to the office I was truly depressed and afraid. Hopeless. Within ten minutes of my first visit I was looking at photos of patients with awe. I had no idea that one could come out of this on the other side looking beautiful and whole again. It was his expertise that allowed me to make the scary, but life saving, decision to get a complete double mastectomy rather than a lumpectomy. I was a good candidate for lumpectomy but was fearful of the cancer coming back. I was also fearful of looking like the woman I had seen on the internet when I googled (BIG MISTAKE) reconstruction. I saw so may fake, coconut breasts, looking as if a child had made two mounds and stuck them on a body. When I saw the photos of Dr. Vega's patients all I saw were lovely, realistic, yet sexy, breasts. I had not seen anything on the internet that looked anything like these full, beautiful, natural looking breasts. Even the nipples threw me for a loop. When I asked to see the nipple tattoos after going through many photos of lovely breasts which I had assumed were nipple sparing I was told, I already had been looking at the tattoos. I HAD THOUGHT THEY WERE REAL!! I cannot say enough about this amazing, talented and caring doctor and his empathetic, engaged, and educated staff. They made a tough journey into a something else entirely. They became a kind of family, there to cry, laugh and help in any way. And I ended up stronger, still beautiful and ALIVE.

I have been wanting to get my lips done for at least 5 years now, but was hesitant to pull the trigger. I heard about the Vega Medspa through friends and decided to check it out. I met with Christina and she could not have been more informative and she calmed my nerves right down! I showed her photos of what I was looking to do, as well as photos of what I did not want my lips to look like. She made my lips perfect!!!! I would not hesitate to go to her for anything else. My diep flap surgery was performed by Doctor Stephen Vega. Doctor Vega is an extraordinary gifted surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone searching in the Rochester or surrounding area. After being diagnosed with breast cancer I choose to have my breast reconstructed with my natural tissue using diep flap and I have no regrets. My breast looks and feels like a normal breast minus the nipple which I will have reconstructed once my healing is complete. Due to the complexity of this surgery there are only a handful of qualified surgeons in the area that perform this surgery. When I was originally diagnosed with breast cancer I was given the names of Christopher Caldwell (breast Surgeon) and Stephan Vega (plastic surgeon). I was told they were the best of the best by numerous people and that stands true. Doctor Caldwell is also an amazing surgeon he is very compassionate and understanding to the needs of someone newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Doctor Vega has a wonderful team, Karen and Christina are awesome. Since I had a unilateral mastectomy and reconstruction, Doctor Vega has gone above and beyond to help me achieve symmetry by performing a lift and augmentation in my unaffected natural breast. I am so very happy with the results. Achieving symmetry was very important to me and I am so grateful to him for being able to accomplish that. I hope and pray that soon there will be an end to breast cancer. It is a terrible disease that can consume you. It can take away your self worth as a women. I was truly blessed to have the best of the best on my side and I thank God for that. Thank You Doctor Vega!

After breastfeeding my twins for 13 months, my breasts were left saggy and small. I met with 1 surgeon locally who made me feel like "just another patient" and I knew I needed to find another doctor that gave me the time of day. I decided to meet with Dr. Vega. I was so pleasantly surprised when he call me personally to discuss a scheduling issue that arose. During my consultation with him, he did a great job of explaining what he saw as my needs specific to my body. At first, I was startled by the size he recommended for my height and weight (5'9, 135 lbs). After doing my own research, I came to agree that 500cc was going to be a great choice and was frustrated that the previous surgeon didn't assess based on my height (he only suggested 350cc at the consultation). Dr. Vega also recommended a lift on my left breast to address asymmetry due to more drooping. I was hesitant about this even up until surgery, but trusted him because he did a great job explaining his reasons. I just recently took off the steristrips and almost cried with happiness with how great the scar looks already! He also went with 525cc textured round moderate profile implants. I couldn't be happier. He gave me exactly what I wanted and I would do it again!

I recently had a breast augmentation, but they were barely a D and I wanted them larger. My other plastic surgeon was unwilling to comply with the implant size I wanted so I began to surgeon shop and fortunately found Dr. Vega! He took time with me, looked at pictures, and talked about different implant styles in order to make sure he could achieve my desired result. I felt completely comfortable trusting him. He is genuine and a phenomenal doctor that I would not hesitate to go back to for future desires procedures. It is very recent after surgery and everything is so far so good! I'm excited for the final results and they are just how I envisioned! I even go to his MedSpa now located right across from the consultation office!
