I have had concern with my 11's (glabellar lines) between my brows for some time now... too long actually. I also started to hate my tiny crows feet. I didn't want that overdone Botox look. I just wanted correction and improvement while still have some expression capabilities. I am so very pleased with the care and expertise of Dr. Graf. She will see me again when it is time for a refresh. Updated on 2 Dec 2016: So it's been nearly 3 weeks since my injection and I wanted to update the review saying I am very pleased with my results. The look is natural yet the improvement is obvious. I am so sure I made the right decision. I will definitely see Dr. Graf for all injection needs going forward. As a side note, her assistant, Vanessa Sescila, also made a great impression on me. She was a delight during my "before pics" in office and during the procedure with Dr. Graf. Love them both and will see them again in the upcoming months.

Hello friends! I'm 32 years old and in good shape. Double chins run in my family and I began noticing my mini chin showing up in photos. Eek! I got one syringe of Kybella and the procedure was overall pretty painless. Here's what happened: 1. I was given Ibuprofen and then a Novacane shot. The pain level was maybe 2/10 on that. 2. I was numbed for the procedure. I felt very little and it's similar to any injectable. If you have gotten Botox or Restylane, it's going to be easy as pie. To be honest, it hurts waaaaay more getting my eyebrows waxed. Overall pain: 2/10 3. I iced my face for a few minutes and then I was good to go. The whole procedure took maybe 15 minutes. Visually, I looked okay. I went home and took one ibuprofen every four hours (400 mg) and iced a couple of times. Updated on 8 May 2016: The first day was okay but the swelling is NO JOKE. I've been walking around with a golf ball-size lump under my chin for the first 5 days since the shot. It's not so bad that you have to go into hiding BUT you do not want to plan any events, photo shoots or dates for at least a week. It's IMPOSSIBLE to hide the bullfrog effect even with a turtleneck or scarf. Every day the swelling decreases but the "zero downtime" is a total lie. Updated on 12 May 2016: It's been one week and I'm still swollen. I've been tilting my head upwards but head on you can see the "bullfrog effect" Updated on 12 May 2016: It's been 9 days and I'm back to normal. No swelling but no reduction of chin either. I'll post updates when I see some change. Updated on 29 May 2016: It's been three weeks post op. The bullfrog swelling has finally gone down. I THINK I'm seeing some change. It's honestly hard to tell. Will check back in at 4-6 weeks. Updated on 3 Jun 2016: It's been exactly one month (tomorrow) since I got the procedure and I see results. It's minor but VERY noticeable. I didn't have a lot of fat to begin with and I'm sure I'll need one more shot to get the sculpted look you see in the "after" photos. The cost + downtime is going to make me put that on pause for now. My overall Kybella review: If you have a little bit of fat and don't mind looking like a bullfrog for 2 weeks, I say go for it!!! I Updated on 14 Jan 2017: It's been 8 months since my first Kybella shot. I definitely see improvement but want to go in for another shot. I've gained about 10 pounds (eating junk food and not working out) so I want to lose that before I go in. HOPEFULLY, that helps minimize the double chin situation. Updated on 2 Feb 2017: I went in for another round of Kybella. The procedure itself was fine. I swelled up the night of and have been rocking the bullfrog around my chin since. Ugh. Updated on 2 Feb 2017: Updated on 4 Feb 2017: Updated on 20 Mar 2017: So I *think* I see some results. It's hard to tell when you see yourself every day. To be honest, it depends on the angle I catch myself. Updated on 25 Jun 2017: I have NO DOUBLE CHIN anymore! When I turn my head there's a slight bulge but honestly, it's a huge improvement. I had 2 Kybella shots over the course of 2 years. If the recovery period (aka bullfrog look) wasn't so long, I'd probably get one more just to totally zap the fat. Maybe in the future! Since my last Real Self update, I've totally changed my diet and exercise routine. I no longer eat processed foods or refined sugars, drink 8+ glasses of water a day and workout 5x a week. The minute I eat junk food, my face gets puffy and gross. If you are suffering from a double chin, I strongly recommend Kybella + patience + healthy eating and exercise. It won't change overnight but with time, you'll look great!

As a career mom I got around to having my third child, a boy, at 41. I was always conscious that the moms in his class were a lot younger than I was and I vowed not be mistaken for his grandmother. Besides her book and knowledge of skin care, she's an expert injector with great technique. I have to admit, even after having three kids I still was a little apprehensive about needles being injected in my face. After just a few minutes with Dr. Graf, whatever apprehension I had was eliminated. I wanted her recommendation to "take out" the lines in my forehead and the crows feet around my eyes. She was extremely focused and looked at my face like a canvas. She calmly and confidently told me she would use filler in my forehead and a "little botox" around my eyes. Presto! I barely even knew when she was doing the injections and she pointed out that not only did the filler give me about a 90% improvement in the forehead lines, I got a nice lift of my eyebrows which opened up my eyes too! The botox she injected around my eyes took several days to see the benefit but reduced my crows feet also about 90%. Not only did I get wonderful results, the only thing I felt was a bit of tenderness in my forehead for about 24 hours after the procedure. I couldn't even say it was pain, the sensation was quite minor and I went shopping and took the subway home right after the treatment and had no problem sleeping. Thanks Dr. Graf, I still look like my son's mom- NOT his grandmother even though I'm 61 almost 62 years old!

Dr Jeanette graf THE BEST dermatologist/injecter ever! I felt like my face was getting saggy and loosing the volume on my cheeks until dr.graf injected me with Voluma and gave me great looking cheeks . I absolutely love it and besides the amazing job she is super nice and great energy and smile. She makes me smile everytime i see you. I had Restylane injected in my marionette lines. The procedure took about 15 minutes after the application of numbing cream and was relatively painless. The effect is amazing, definitely worthwhile. Although the effect is subtle it truly makes a difference. It not only takes about 10 years off, I look happier.
