I am scheduled to have my breast augmentation in two weeks and wanted to share my journey. I am 26 years old, 5'4, 145lbs, and currently wear a 34A/B. I have been insecure about my boobs since high school and finally decided it was time to get them done. I had my consultation back in August and plan to get around 450cc silicone implants. I'm super excited but also a little nervous mainly for the recovery process. Looking forward to sharing updates along the way! Updated on 5 Oct 2023: My entire experience with Dr. Tutela and the Surgical Center of Milburn was absolutely incredible. Nothing but great things to say about all of the staff, Dr. Tutela and his PA Chelsea were both amazing and professional throughout the process. I ended up getting 485cc in my right breast and 450cc in my left breast. As for pain, I was in a decent amount, but mainly tightness/pressure due to the swelling and the binder. However, I am able to walk around, make coffee, brush my hair and get dressed by myself. Post-op appointment went well, and I will be able to shower and put on a normal sports bra tomorrow which I am excited about. Updates to come soon - thank you :) Updated on 8 Oct 2023: Feeling relatively back to normal today, still a little sore/tight which is expected. Currently wearing a sports bra and breast band underneath. I stopped taking the heavy pain medication and am now only taking Tylenol. Some TMI, the constipation after surgery is roughhhh but you’ll get through it! Looking forward to getting my stitches out later this week! As we all know it will take time for them to heal and soften up, but very happy with my results thus far :) Updated on 13 Oct 2023: Just had my one week post-op appointment and had my stitches removed. My experience with Dr. Tutela is amazing. He has such compassion and kindness for his patients staff is amazing. My surgery was extremely complex involving removal of old capsular implants and putting in new implants under the muscle.. Dr. Tutela and his staff continue to be compassionate and attentive on each and every post visit.. I would highly recommend Dr. Tutela and his staff

I had saline implants done 16 years ago and was never really happy with my results. Not even a year after my surgery my right implant came out of the pocket but unfortunately at the time I wasn’t in the position to pay to get it repaired. In beginning of October my left implant ruptured out of no where. My very good friend had gone to Dr Tutela and was thrilled with her results, so I reached out on Instagram. The response time from the office was insane!! I had an appointment within a week thanks to the amazing office staff and even Dr Tutela himself responded to my messages. My first thoughts when I walked in the office was how clean and professional it was. I was greeted by his friendly receptionist then taken into a private room. I was given a comfy robe to change into. My nerves were through the roof of course as I didn’t have a great experience the first time. Dr Tutela came in with a smile on his face and a very professional attitude. My biggest concern was needing a lift, which I knew was inevitable (probably should have had one with my first set). Dr Tutela explained all of my options and explained the benefits of the lift. He also explained what he would have to do to repair the right implant as well and how bad the damage was the pocket was almost to my back! I had no idea how bad it was being I always wore underwire bras. I’m not gonna lie I was emotionally overwhelmed, timing couldn’t have been worse for this unexpected expense! Dr Tutela was compassionate and understanding. By the end of my appointment I was set up and scheduled for my surgery. The entire experience was smooth and easy! Surgery day!! I arrived at the hospital, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center , which I must say has the best pre surgical procedure to avoid infection I have ever seen and I work in medical! Everyone came in introduced themselves anesthesiologists/ Dr Tutela’s Pa/ my nurses. Dr Tutela came in and made my pre-procedure marks, answered any lingering concerns and questions I had and then off we went! When I woke up I was actually pleasantly surprised how little pain I felt after having a lift/repair and the replacement of my old implants. My post op nurse was absolutely amazing, I wish I could remember her name but to be honest everyone at the center was amazing. When I got home my pain level was a lot lower than I expected. My post operative instructions were clearly written out and easy to follow. I was supplied with a cream to help bring back blood flow to my breast and every precaution was taking to prevent capsular contraction. I was also given the Dr’s personal cell phone number and also his Pa’s cell as well for any issues and concerns. Again response time to any of my questions was almost instantly. My over all recovery was amazing in my opinion. I stopped taking pain meds within 4 days (which I only needed about one or two a day if that). I was back to work in ten days and feeling great. Now to the good stuff! My results are soooo amazing! My breast are perky, full and where they are supposed to be! No more push up bras for this girl! My only complaint I have is that I didn’t find Dr Tutela the first time around! I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a breast augmentation or lift. I am so happy I found him.

Doctor Tutela is a very experienced profesional willing to provide his clients with the best care and experience. He always makes himself available to answer any questions/concerns you may have specially after surgery. I specially have had a rocky road after my BBL (this may not happen to everyone), however, Dr. Tutela is 100% committed to be there for me until I am happy and satisfied with my results! Where do I begin! At my lowest point and greatest fear upon hearing I was diagnosed with breast cancer, the first person I thought of turning to was Dr. Tutela, MD. He didn’t let me down. He calmed my fears and took me in his care. I felt he wasn’t just my doctor, but a friend who sincerely cared. He put together and extremely talented and compassionate team of doctors that with extreme skill brought me through this difficult time. Doctor Tutellas talent is definitely something to be celebrated and acknowledge. I still remember him telling me Melissa your going to be fine I got you!! He was 100 percent right He took excellent care of me every step of the way. Today have breast again and they are really looking beautiful..I would never imagine any medical professional who would treat me as if I was a family member instead of just a patient. He gave me 24 hour access to him! What doctor does this. He not only medically led me through this difficult phase of my life, but took me from a psychological fall to a mental state of having faith and hope that I’d survive.For as long as I live, I will be eternally grateful for his surgical and compassionate guidance. I am extremely happy with my overall experience with Dr Tutela. I am glad I trusted his expert opinion about sizing. As a mother of two I was looking to go back to my pre breast feeding breasts. Dr Tutela did a wonderful job, not only do they look and feel natural but the sizing is perfect. I no longer have a bra gap, I got back a piece of confidence that I had lost. I am able to wear a variety of tops and clothing I was not able to wear before. I am so happy I chose Dr Tutela. I am only a few days post op and they look beautiful and I feel great. My experience at the surgery center was also top notch. The staff was amazing! Dr. Tutela and his team are truly amazing. My surgery was life changing for me. Dr has very good bedside manners. I recommend everyone to go for a consultation. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

6 weeks ago I made the best decision of my life allowing Dr Tutela to perform a breast lift with implant operation. It has been something I have wanted for many years but was always afraid to pull the trigger ! His work is perfection ! Not only has my entire experience been life changing in regards to my self esteem but it was the most stress free recovery ever! Whenever I felt not at ease I would text Dr Tutela or Chelsea on their personal numbers that they provided & they always responded in a timely matter making sure all my questions were answered ! Thank you Dr Tutela & the rest of his amazing office staff for such a great experience ! I would do it 100 times over !

My experience with doctor Tutella and his staff has been fantastic! I have undergone more than one surgery with him and would do more. His staff is exceptionally organized and great with providing any information needed on procedures from start to finish and any questions I had in between were always answered right away. My recoveries from surgery have been near painless and scaring had been minimal. I am shocked with how well I have felt after my procedures. He and his staff at the office are very friendly and I would highly recommend him.
