Lumineers are a brand name for &#39;low prep&#39; veneers.&nbsp; there are literally 100&#39;s of dental labs in the USA alone that make &#39;low prep veneers.&#39;&nbsp; only about 1% of patients actually qualify for ZERO PREP veneers.&nbsp;&nbsp;DenMat&nbsp;has&nbsp;extensively marketed their product - Lumineers.&nbsp; &nbsp;Many patients do qualify for &#39;low prep Lumineers&#39;... but... the biggest complaint of Lumineers is that patients feel that their teeth become bulky after they are placed.&nbsp; Lumineers are to teeth as acrylic nails are to natural nails.&nbsp;One &#39;myth&#39; with Lumineers is that they are reversable.&nbsp; Lumineers (and veneers) are BONDED to the enamal of your teeth.&nbsp; this is IRREVERSIBLE.&nbsp; Over the last decade, there have been many advances in Veneer technology.&nbsp;&nbsp;This has made it possible for properly trained dentists to place veneers that look like natural teeth that are white, straight, and proportioned to fit YOUR profile (and are not &#39;bulky&#39;).&nbsp;

Whitening tooth pastes are very abrasive and are helpful in removing &quot;extrinsic&quot; stains on teeth or stains on the outside of your teeth.
Whitening, works more like Oxy-Clean using a safe derivative of hydrogen peroxide to remove the stains from deep within your teeth.
If you have sensitivity or recession, whitening tooth paste is not good for you.

The nice thing about implants are their versatility. 
You can often have an implant or two placed for every missing tooth. This is a wonderful solution but is often too expensive for the average person. 
You can have combinations of bridges and implants. You may even have a denture with a few implants. The options are endless!
I recommend getting a couple quotes and staying where the doctor and you seem to see things in the same way!

How Many Teeth Can Be Replaced with Dental Implants?

I always feel that the patient is a great source of information. If you know there is a bad odor from only two of the <a href="/Dental-crown/reviews">crowns</a> I would go back and ask the dentist to check again. All porcelain crowns are VERY technique sensitive, even the smallest misalignment will cause more problems than traditional metal based crowns. Call ahead and say that you will need an x-ray on the tooth. That way there is a chair set aside for you and the dentist is not rushed. Early morning appointments are often better too.

I recently had all porcelain <a href='/reviews/dental-crown'>dental crowns</a> installed on my four front teeth. When I floss two of them at the gumline, I can taste and smell a foul bacterial scent on the floss.The dentist poked around with a dental instrument and says they fit properly, but I disagree. None of my other teeth (crowned or real) produce the odor, so something isn't right. He told me x-rays won't necessarily show whether or not they fit, so is there a definitive way (i.e., special type of x-ray, MRI, etc.) to determine if the fit is correct?

I have not seen your teeth and a close up photo of your teeth would help a lot. Normally simply straightening teeth that are small can make you look child like.
It is usually better at your age to have bonding done. It is paramount that you have a dentist with cosmetic training do that donding if you want it to look real.
When you are a little older--21 years old or so--<a href="/Porcelain-veneers/reviews">veneers</a> are an incredible option.

Hi I am 18 and I have smaller teeth than normal and spaces between them. I was wondering what I could do about it?I have had my two front teeth bonded and I love them except they are covered in the back, uneven and hurts when I drink cold drinks.
