So far so good. I had a great experience with Dr. Costa and his team. Andrea is great also. Just go home from surgery but I will update with progress. So far, it looks like I got what I wanted.
It's to be noted that Dr. Costa did encourage a lift if I wanted to achieve that perfect BA look. I declined because I didn't want scarring, was okay with my natural asymmetry, and just wanted my same breasts but larger n more full. It looks like that's what I received so I'm pleased.

So this is almost 24hrs later. I am so in love with my result so far. My doctor understood the assignment and gave me exactly what I wanted. My chest is wider and my breasts before surgery were two different breasts and far apart. Very natural look so far and breasts still have character. He definitely underpromised and over delivered. Definitely exceeded my expectations while being realistic with what can be achieved! Hoping post opp continues to go well. Their office provided supplements and many meds to manage pain without heavy narcotics. My pain is minimal and I'm up walking around my home. I am suffering from a bit of insomnia. I know I need to rest but so far, only light cat naps here n there.

More before photos so you guys can better see how I started and the major improvement! It wants me to type 200 characters so I'll talk about surgery. I was in discomfort and pain coming home but got on my pain protocols and now feel pretty good. Walking around the house, using the bathroom on my own and excited for my 1st shower and to get the bandages off n my surgical bra on. This was my 1st ever surgery and I was very scared but Dr. Costa has a great team in his surgery center who made me feel awesome and cared for. I did need some help from my husband until I got the hang of the meds but that was mostly surgery day. I'll need help showering here soon but that's it. My breasts feel good, just like pressure and I practice deep breathing. I didn't touch them too much because I don't wanna ruin what looks like great work so far and will wait for the okay to do that but they are still high up and look as I expected from all the research I did. My armpit incisions seem to be okay. No pain there or pus or ooze, I'm just musty asf because I cant use deodorant for a few days. Lol. My breasts look perfect for my frame. I can't wait to heal up and see the final result.

Okay guys! It's 2 days post opp and my bandages get to come off! I get to take an actual shower (no soap on the incisions in my pits but I can run water across) super exciting!
How am I doing? Well, I have noticed muscle aches and pain in my back, legs, hips and calfs. I read it's a side effect of general anesthesia. I can best describe it as the soreness you get after going wayyy too hard in the gym. As far as my breasts, no pain there but my nipples are completely numb still so we'll see when I take the dressings off n shower. My armpits feel fine as well, no soreness or pain and they also seem to be healing fine. Too early to tell how the scars will look when healed, though.
The shower was great. My husband helped me and that made it 10xs better. Lol. I am still in love with my breasts! They are looking great. I am hoping that they drop and fluff soon because the initial look is always weird looking to me. Lol. I get to wear this little sports bra until my next appointment Friday. My only regret is that I wish I went bigger but hoping they start looking bigger as they drop.
Dr. Costa's surgery center called to check on me also which was really sweet. All of the little things count so much when recovering. They really seem to care about their patients.

Haven't dropped or fluffed yet but that can take months... Hoping they appear a bit bigger after they settle but I feel great and I'm loving the look compared to my before. I declined the lift but I hope the excess droop on the tip will improve after they drop a bit. Looking forward to my follow-up tomorrow. I'll probably start updating every or every other Saturday from now on. Hoping for continuous improvement.

Soooo my breasts feel great. No pain. They feel like a part of me- I never experienced the foreign body feel... I'm concerned about them dropping but it's only been 4 days so I'm hoping they'll start dropping over the next few weeks and that the upper pole fullness will move down to the bottom of my breasts to make the lower shape more appealing. I can tell they're headed in the direction I want them to go so just keeping the faith and trusting the process... Hoping they have no complications and fall into place soon....

Had my 1st follow up. It was so nice seeing Dr. Costa and hearing everything is looking good. He's really awesome. I got a looser fitting surgical bra and a boob band to help push them down into their proper position at the base of my breasts but I'm not going to lie, the band hurts.
Everyone at the office was so nice, reassuring, and helpful as usual.
I go back in 2 weeks and must wear the band 24/7 besides to shower so I will update in 2 weeks to see how things are going. My incisions under my arms look good also.
The final result will take a couple of months so don't judge on initial photos. For the stage of recovery I'm in, I am looking great. Sooo excited to see the shape come together over the following months. I just know the finished result is going to be beautiful. Trust the process ladies!

I woke up to major change so had to share! Lol. This is just after one night with the push band and I'm blown away! The concerning areas are already looking so much better. I'm so happy!!!! And this is only day 1!

They are dropping and starting to look more natural. One is dropping and fluffing faster than the other which is normal but they take their final form and fully fluff out n fill out at 3 months post opp n on.
The one on the right is fluffing out a Lil slower but not even 2 weeks post opp and they look good. 10 more weeks to go to see more finished result! My surgeon is the man!

I know I'm not supposed to buy bras this early and I can't even wear them for some weeks but bought some anyway! Lol. The bras look a bit small but I'm sure they'll be just right when the swelling goes down a bit more.

Soooo, I can go back to the gym this week but just light walking on the treadmill. No elliptical or running. Nothing with arms or too much bounce. Excited to see doc tomorrow! Hoping I get the ok to wear a more supportive bra. Right now, I'm wearing the compression band and a loose sports bra to allow my implants to settle but as I've been walking more, I am noticing a bit of discomfort and feel twinges with every "bounce" etc.
My incisions are looking good, for me. I'm a terrible scarrer (word?). Lol. So I'm not unhappy and glad they are in my pits and not on my breasts as they would be if I went with a lift. Shaved once so far, 4 days ago and the irritation adds to the discomfort. I normally get shaving irritation and with the nerve pain and half numbness, I find myself adjusting the band way more since shaving but I wanted to see better under there. I would recommend just not shaving if you can help it as long as possible. My surgical scar adhesive came off on it's own and I've been wearing light spray deodorant. So much happier about not smelling fresh from the bush. Lol
I am noticing the sensation has returned to my nipples and my armpit areas but especially with my armpit areas, it's an annoying nerve sensation with a lot of numbness still. Bending over without a bra while drying my legs or something after shower is the highest pain twinges. I would say I'm most uncomfortable, especially wearing the band at night. My right breast is behind my left in the drop and fluff process but I started off with 2 different boobs and I think they both are progressing nicely. Currently on zero pain meds but I definitely am feeling some discomfort as the sensation comes back.
As I've always said, I wanted natural looking breasts that are appropriate for my age and having 3 children and DEFINITELY didn't want a lift, no matter what right now and I am in love with my results.
Just have been getting back into regular life and I definitely don't regret not going bigger anymore. Lol. They are a great size and actually much bigger than I thought right after surgery.
Definitely experienced some sadness mostly for my wardrobe because I have to buy all new clothing. Yes, shopping is fun, but getting to know what fits my new body is a challenge and letting go of much loved pieces is hard because they will never fit again.
I will post pre-op and post-op gym pics tomorrow. I wanted to just get the for sure okay on exercise and what bras I can wear. I couldn't walk an hour on the treadmill without more support right now. No way. Lol.

So I'm still stuck w the band for now but learned massages for my riding high breast on my right but all is looking great! Worked out today. I couldn't do the treadmill because I kept unintentionally going too hard so just walked the track around my gym and that was more than enough. The activity was painful and kind of difficult compared to before. I felt chest pressure and like my breasts are "constipated". Lol. I dunno how to describe it... like passing a hard stool that won't come out of my nipples? Lol. They look great tho in athletic wear and look right for my body so I'm super pleased with that! Going to continue my gym journey and just adjusting. Upsides are that I'm healing well at the incision sites and breasts look great! Downside is again, clothing and uncomfortable pain... like not unbearable but just naggy twinges and pressure.

Ummm, hello! Lol Been having my husband massage n I already notice a lil difference in the upper slopes. Just surreal. So happy I decided to get them fixed! I really am enjoying seeing the daily progress and hitting these angles are just surreal. Like, these are starting to look soooo pretty. I'm in love! Of course they aren't perfect but no real boobs are and from where I started, this is just crazy to be able to see this. They're super cute!
Updated on 21 Sep 2023:
So things are going well. My cleavage has closed quite a bit! My right breast is dropping and fluffing slower which is normal and noticeable in both pics. It's more noticeable at certain angles but I've been able to get some nice pics over the last week! Thought I'd post a straight view and leaned-over "hang" view. Lol. I was washing my face and was like "Whoa!" That looks different! Lol. If you look at my "hang" pic from right after surgery, they've filled out so much. Taking pics is so helpful because it's hard to see changes until you compare photos. Currently doing massages recommended by my PS on my right breast and I feel it's helping. Still also wearing the band and sleeping upright. Excited for the coming weeks as it drops a bit more and the implant fills out the bottom a little bit more.

I've returned to work so have been so busy butttt wanted to share updated pics of the girls. I am absolutely LOVING them! Such an improvement and money well spent. Couldn't be happier!
No complications. They feel amazing. No pain. I can sleep in any position and they feel just like any other part of my body. Dr. Costa really did his thing!

Sooo, I've been enjoying my gurlsss! Just sharing an update @ 6 months post opp. I've been pretty busy but here's a few snaps.
It's to be noted (once again) that I didn't want a lift. I wanted the natural look that they currently have and if you'd like yours to sit higher, look more "done", or whatever your goals are etc, you should get a lift and maybe even consider a higher profile based on what you want to achieve. Get with a surgeon who will listen and give you what you desire. Verrry happy with my result!
