I'm a 26 year old mommy of two. My son was 9 lbs and my daughter was 8 lbs. coming from a real petite frame, my stomach suffered tremendously. Before both pregnancies, I was 120 lbs. currently I weight 157 lbs and 5'6"but my goal is 150 lbs. I'm excited about my upcoming procedure and happy to share my journey.

It amazes me how I see so many women stating that their husband is so supportive. In my end, its the total opposite. Although he is paying for tge entire procedure. He doesn't understand why I want it done. He lacks tge empathy that is so needes during such a serious procedure. I have been out of work for almost 4 years and just completed my undergrad in Accounting. In his opinion, he feels we should go on a trip to rekindle what was lost while I pursued my degree. It is so hard not having him on board. But I'm still going through the procedure with ir without his support.... Can anyone relate?

I woke up super nervous this morning! My stomach has butterflies. I know today I will definitely have to keep busy. Just so the time could pass by fast. I have started a cleaning spree of my house. I cleaned closets, rooms, under beds, garage, etc. But with Christmas and two precious children. It has not stayed has need as I would like. Maybe, I'll start with cleaning amd running last minute errands. Also waiting in the surgery center to call.to inform me of what time my procedure will be done. Ttyl....

My appoitment was for 6:15 am. The commute was one hour away. I was so excited, I woke up for 2:30 am and began to clean up. I woke my husband up at 4am and began to hit the road! The ride was amazingly quicker than usual. One I arrived at the surgery center, I was immediately askd to come to the back and sign final consent forms and paper work. Returned back to the waiting area for 5 minutes and was ask to return to the back to get prepared. My pressure was talent along with the IV to began a dosage of antibiotics. Once the questions were completed, I removed all my clothing to put a hospital gown and compression stockings on. Shortly after my husband met me in the room until the doctor came in to make his marks. The nurse followed him immediately to dispense a dose of "happy.medication" so that i was able to keep calm. The doctor not only suggested lipo the the flanks but also to the side of my hips! Whoop! Whoop! That was the last thing i remember. Next I was in recovery and asking the nurse for pain meds because I felt pain along tge incision. Next, the catheter was removed and the nurse and my husband assisted me into the restroom to urine. Well of course I couldn't do anything and the nursesaid that was ok. My husband helped me back in the bed. Dr. Richardson came in calling me "skinny minnie" and informed us of how well everything went. Along with giving us a couple of last minute instructions. The nurse came in, and help me change out of the night gown into my sweats and mou-mou. The wheel chair was brought in and I was on my way! The nurse keep informing ne of how.well I was doing which was pretty cool. I was expecting to be in so much excruciating pain but boy was I wrong. My repair just was a little sore but no other complaints. Once we made it in town, we had to make a couple pit stops. My husband purchased a smoothie since I didn't have much of an appetite but I knew I had to eat something because it was time for my next dose of pain meds. I was also instructed to take the pain meds and scheduled and muscle relaxers 2 hours after the pain meds. My husband made me really comfy and I took a 3 hour nap before a couple of family members and friends came over. I was also specifically instructed when gettingand down to NOT use my stomach muscles. I never knew this was such a hard task to accomplish. For whatever reasoning, I haven't been really sleepy. Just relaxing . Also my drain are not releasing alot at all. Is this normal or good or bad thing? Well ttyl, pain meds are beginning to kick in. Here are a couple pics of myself with the binder.

My experience has been amazing! Ican't complain at all. My husband has been great! He waits on me hand and foot. I really over estimated the pain and the entire experience. I have been able to walk straight up since post op day 2. Still no bm, major gas but its ok. I don't usually have many anyway. My drains are not filling at all or even half way. Talk to my dr and he said its nothing to be concerned with. I'm able to get to and from the restroom on my on. Still eating alot of fruits and low sodium meals. Drinking only water. Never thought this process would be so smooth. Anywho, i have my first post op Thursday. We shall see what the the dr thinks of my progress. Ttyl gals.....

Although it has been only four days. It has been smooth sailing. I could see the difference even considering that it has been such a short period of time. I'm swollen but that is to be expected. I figuredif I'm happy with the results now than it can only go uphill from here. I have not experienced the post surgery bluea because I went into it with realistic results. I knew before I had any kids, I didn't have a coke bottlw figure so I wasn't anticipating one post surgery. My main concern was my mid section. I have learn to accept my body as is which include flaws and all. It may not be perfect for everyone but its perfect for me.

Yesterday was my first BM after taking a list of different supplements. Stool softners, laxatives, gas x, mirimax, and suppositories, and finally citrate magnesium. The citrate worked in 10 minutes and had me on the toilet alllllll day long. But, no complaints. I was extremely relieved! Lol!
Well today, I had my first follow up and the drain was removed. It was a quick sting but nothing too bad at all. My dressing was removed that was placed on me the day if surgery. I was finally able to get a peak of my new tummy. Boy was I excited! Even with the swelling, I know the results can only improve. Here are a couple of pics.

I had a post op appointment on Monday. I was informed by ps that I can began to wear a spank duringthe day and cg at night. I had to inform him of a pain that I was having only when walking at my drain sight. He told me to decreasemy activities. I gues me sweeping and mopping my entire house over the weekend was not a good idea. He also stressed for me to listen to my body. I have uploaded a few pics. I can actually see my swelling slowly going down and progress. I have a couple of concerns that I will address at my next post op appointment. Such as the puckered skin along the incision line, will it smooth out? Also when sitting the area below my navel seems to look a bit like my pre op stomach with the lacks and extra skin. I don't know if I'm being paranoid but I shall see.....

Let me begin by saying, I'm still in love with my tummy tuck and the confidence I've gained. However, I have gained alllllllllllll the weight I've lost back. Lol! My weight now is carried in my butt and thighs and loving every pound of it.

Scheduled for a consultation with Dr. Richardson Monday for liposuction to my flanks ( side area) and back. I don't know if I'm delusional or what but it seems that I now notice every hump and bump on my body. I have gained more weight than I was pre tummy tuck. I guess it's because my biggest concern is no longer an issue. Hmmmmm, just needed to vent. Toodles for now....
