Tummy Tuck

Professional, Honest, Talented and Compassionate

I went to Dr. Peng for a tummy tuck and breast lift following a weight loss of over 100 lbs. I am 5 months post op and I still stare at myself in the mirror every day completely amazed at how great my results are. My confidence is through the roof thanks to Dr. Peng. She is also very considerate and professional. I thought I wanted breast implants and Dr. Peng was very honest with me that I would likely like my results better if I were to go without an augmentation and start with a lift to see what I think. I trusted her as the professional and I am SO thankful. I will not be getting implants because I have the exact look I wanted.

$6,000Breast Reduction

Breast Reduction/Lift

I'm going to try to keep this short. But I've had serve breast asymmetry all my life. As soon as I hit puberty at the VERY young age of 8/9 my right breast grew at an abnormal rate then my left. This of course left me with extreme low confidence within myself. I couldn't bare the thought of wearing anything low cut. I wore a breast prosthetic from Tillges - Maplewood,MN for majority of my life but got ruined in a biking accident when I was 16, so I would just use many bra cups to 'stuff' my bra. I went to numerous doctors when I was younger who keeping telling me the left breast would catch up to the other. I'm 23 now and the left never did. So this year I decided to finally get this done, and I'm happy I didn't waste another second. I originally wanted to get this approved through insurance but got denied. So I paid out-of-pocket... best money I could have ever spent. I first saw Dr. Peng 3 years ago but couldn't afford to get this done at that time. She made the process very easy; I set my surgery date 5-8-18(got a packet of do's and not's before surgery in the mail), had my pre-appointments about any concerns I had, paid two weeks prior to surgery, got my medication a week before surgery, and surgery day was a breeze, spoke to the anesthesiologist, marked up for surgery... and it was game time! For the right breast was a traditional lollipop incision, the left breast just a vertical incision (just a lift). Overall, I did consider getting a small implant in the left breast however, I didn't want a implant at all... personally preference. I'm so so happy with my results... things look 10 times better. I'm writing this and I'm 7 months post and I have no complaints, as far as nipple sensation I still feel BOTH nipples (which my nipples were NOT completely removed during surgery) thank god... one of my fears.... if anything there just a bit more sensitive right now. Thank you, Dr. Peng and the amazing team. She is such a sweetheart, and she LISTENS to what you want and your concerns like a pro...which she definitely is. If I ever get anything else done, I'm headed her way. Highly HIGHLY recommended!

$6,200Breast Augmentation

Early 20s, Petite, 200cc Unders

RealSelf has been so helpful to me during this process, so I want to provide my own review! I'm 5'2" and 100 pounds. I've never had kids and my pre-op bra size was a small 30C. I decided to go with Harrington and Associates, one of the only all-female plastic surgery practices in the nation. I met with Dr. Peng for a free consultation and immediately loved her. She was very helpful and tried to figure out exactly what I wanted. I scheduled my surgery for Jan. 9. Just had the procedure yesterday! I simplified it for the title of my post, but I got softgel silicone implants 185cc on my left side and 210cc on my right side (I think, the anesthesia had me a little loopy). I have a follow-up tomorrow where I'll confirm the cc's and the profile. Also, Dr. Peng did a tiny liposuction on the little part next to my armpit on my chest (it's a spot that pouches out when I'm wearing a strapless bra). Is this common? I'd never heard of it before but I'm happy about it! Day of surgery went smoothly. The anesthesia didn't wear off for a couple hours afterward, so I was feeling great. Then the tightness and soreness kicked in but it was manageable. I experienced some nausea but took anti-nausea meds. During the night, the pain got worse--getting up from bed or pushing myself up to a sitting position was the worst. Now it's the day after the surgery and it's definitely more painful. I'm pretty helpless, thank goodness for my parents! Mostly I just feel sore and quite swollen. The pain from the mini liposuctions is actually the worst part, I think. Haven't seen my breasts yet but I'll see them for the first time tomorrow! I'm sure they'll look terrible, lol. Apologies for the long post! Ask me any questions you have! Updated on 11 Jan 2018: Day 2 post-op ended up being pretty painful. Today wasn't as bad, but my mobility is still super limited. At my check-up today, the PA told me I got the smooth round moderate profile--175cc in my left breast and 210cc in my right. It was the first time I got to see my breasts today and I was excited! I was prepared for them to look like a linebacker's pecs, and they definitely do, but they seem to be just the size I was going for. Now I just have to wait for them to drop and fluff. The most painful part has been the liposuction, specifically on my left side. It gives me stinging pain sometimes. Dr. Peng warned me that the liposuction would probably be the most painful part. Updated on 14 Jan 2018: Things are going pretty well. I get shooting pains from the nerves in my left side but that's the only bad pain anymore. My right side is feeling fine and dropping faster than my left, but they're both still sitting very high. However, I noticed today that the area with the stitches is a little red and painful. I'm really worried about it getting infected but I've been taking the antibiotics and I'm hoping it'll go away...if not I'll call my doctor tonight or tomorrow. Updated on 11 Mar 2018: The implant on my right side dropped about two weeks post-op. It's looked great ever since, even though I had more problems with the scar on that side. The right-side implant is what I want them both to look like...but the left one is refusing to drop. It's driving me absolutely insane. I massage it every day but I've noticed no change. I'm getting really frustrated and worried it won't drop. Both implants are totally soft now and feel like real breasts. I wish I went just a little bigger, but I still love them! I'd rather have gone too small than too big anyway. I'm now a 30DD. That sounds huge but it's really not (as you can see from my pictures). It's a great size, because my boobs look proportional and modest in a regular bra, but in a push-up bra I can get way more cleavage. The one thing a boob job can't change is the spacing between the breasts, so I'll never be able to get cleavage that touches, but I'm still happy with mine. Obviously I've come a long way since my first post, but I'm still really bothered that my left implant hasn't dropped. I just want it to look like the right one, and then I'll be thrilled. Updated on 23 Jul 2020: I had to do a revisionary surgery 6 months after the original surgery because the surgeon forgot to release the muscle on my left side, so that was unfortunate. The left one still sits higher than the right, possibly due to scar tissue from the second surgery. Ultimately I wish I’d gone a little bigger and I wish my breasts weren’t naturally so far-spaced, but I’m happy with my implants!

$6,000Breast Fat Transfer

Disappointed in 126 & 150cc breast fat transfer - barely noticeable difference

I got a fat transfer breast augmentation 3/2021. I also got fat liposuctioned from my underarm/ bra bulge area. I felt that she was rushed and dismissive. I only received 126cc to one breast, and 150 to the other. That is half of what I expected. With this procedure you retain about 50% of the graft. That’s the equivalent to 1/3 cup measuring cup retained. Why would you even perform a procedure like this for pretty much no reason at all? Why take someone’s money and give them nothing in return? Overall she left me with barely a noticeable difference, still left a lot of tissue in my underarm area to where I can’t wear something sleeveless still and uneven liposuction taboot. Please do not see her for this type of procedure. I am disappointed that I spent the money, but even more disappointed by the bad results and the year of my life I spent recovering from liposuction and the fact that I am now wanting to have a baby, so another surgery to have this done right is out of the question for probably another decade. Waste of time and money!!!!!
