After almost 10 years of wanting liposuction under my chin I finally had it done today! I still have my bandages and I'm so excited to see the results. I'll post before photos and after photos as soon as I can. Updated on 16 Oct 2020: Updated on 16 Oct 2020:

Exceptional Doctor

Dr. Compton is very talented, skillful and caring. I could not be more pleased with the care I received before during and after my procedures. The outcome on a scar revision procedure has far succeeded my expectations. I waited a long time to do this and I'm so very pleased with the results

Great Work Dr. Compton!

Dr. Compton did an amazing job on my nose, I had a major deviated septum and I could not breathe through my right nostril because of it. Dr. Compton fixed the deviated septum and also straightened the hump on my nose bridge. I can breath so much better than before and I am very satisfied with the appearance. I would highly recommend Dr. Compton to anyone needing rhinoplasty surgery.

Positive Experience

Dr. Compton is a wonderful physician and a fantastic surgeon. I've experienced chronic sinus infections for the past 10 years, and after trying every OTC remedy and antibiotic, I decided it was time to see an ENT. My PCP recommended Dr. Compton, so I called and I was able to get an appointment with him within 2 weeks at his Troy location. Once there, he did a thorough examination of my nasal cavity and determined I would be a great candidate for balloon sinuplasty and turbinate reduction. He explained the procedure would be mildly painful and I may have a headache post-op with nasal drainage, but otherwise it should be a recovery time of a few days. The surgery itself was quick, and I only experienced moderate pain during the numbing process. Dr. Compton was polite and talked me through the entire procedure, which made me feel more comfortable. Afterwards, I had a relative drive me home, as the pre-op medications consist of a sedative. Once home, I was able to sleep and relax, only taking the pain medication once later that day. The next few days consisted of random bloody nasal discharge and mild pain in the sinus areas; however, NSAIDs and a gauze mustache were easy fixes. Nasal rinses and sprays were also helpful during this time period. Overall, I highly recommend this surgery, especially with Dr. Compton, as it has helped my breathing tremendously. I've been able to get HIGH quality sleep with my mouth closed, and I no longer have to carry a box of Kleenex around with me wherever I go.

Very positive experience with eustachian tube balloon Dilation and sinus balloon dilation

I recently had Eustachian Tube Balloon Dilation with Dr Compton. I have lived with "plugged ears" most of my life, along with sinus issues. The worst were the ears: muffled, half deaf, rarely clearing, etc. Every winter this would continue until it got so bad after several weeks that I would develop dizziness and nausea. Wouldn't get on an airplane, terrible experience with painful pressure upon landing. Dr Compton suggested this newer procedure using the balloon dilation. After having a CT scan to rule out other issues, he found areas of my sinuses which could benefit from dilation as well (narrowing, etc). I agreed to the combined procedures, which were performed in-office with mild sedation (2 pills I was prescribed, to be taken one hour before). The procedure went well, I felt little discomfort, I was expecting much more discomfort. Dr Compton was very gentle and constantly checking with me to see how I was doing. After the procedure I went home with pain meds (never took any more; didn't need them). I felt discomfort that evening, some bleeding; used a heating pad around my face which helped a lot. By the time I went to bed the pain/discomfort was about a "1" and I fell asleep easily. The next day, bleeding if I leaned over, but mostly just clearing out the "gunk" from the procedure. I could feel I was breathing more easily, and the ears were still plugged, but changing. It felt like the healing was happening. I was able to otherwise go about my day normally, no pain whatsoever. Two days later, while at the gym (with my headphones on) I could hear parts of songs I never heard before! It was really amazing! As time goes on (two weeks now) I still feel my hearing improving, and the "plugged" feeling going away, bit by bit. Currently, I can clear my ears by swallowing. Its' not perfect, but at only two weeks its a lot better. I hope things continue to improve. Bottom line: I'm glad I had this done, it was worth it, even if nothing more changes, but I feel that things will continue to get better, as they still are. If you have my symptoms, go see Dr Compton, as he is very competent, kind, gentle and concerned about his patient's welfare. Tom B

The highest of recommendations!

I saw Dr Compton for what I thought was a bad acne scar on my face (cheek) that was like a large pore that would collect makeup and dirt and sloughed skin cells that I had lived with for years. When I looked in the mirror immediately after my procedure, I was astounded that even though I had sutures, I could barely see the incision from which he removed the giant crater from my face. We immediately regretted not taking a BEFORE photo, as words cannot even do his work justice. I went straight from his office to my job! Although the numbing injection was unpleasant, he talked me through it and gave excellent aftercare instruction to minimize any scarring. When I went in for my follow-up visit, no one could find where I once had a two inch incision in my face! I have worked in the medical field for decades and would recommend Dr Compton to everyone.

I Can Breathe!

Dr. Compton performed a Balloon Sinus Dilation, to help with years of sinus headaches and turbinate dysfunction….. and I can now breathe! Before the Procedure I was prescribed Norco and a prescription to help calm my nerves. I heard horror stories about this procedure and I was nervous about seeing the instruments coming toward my face. I can honestly say, that I reached the proper medication level and could care less about the instruments. I was quickly sprayed and then numbed up. Dr. Compton and his team had an amazing “bedside manner”, and I was completely at ease. The Procedure I felt pressure at times, but no real pain. Again, the team kept me informed, as to what they were doing and were encouraging. It was so much easier than I anticipated! After the Procedure I felt air immediately! I had a slight headache, when I went home, but did not need any pain medication. You will have some blood drainage that first day. A handful or hours later, I felt like I had a bad hangover. I became sick a few times, which was not surprising for me, as I assume it was from the medication and drainage going down your throat. I felt better after that. The next few days, I felt very stuffy and my nose made this fun noise, which was a bonus.  I am now a week out and one side feels great and the other side a little stuffy, but did I mention…… I now know what it’s like to breathe! If you are a candidate for this procedure… get it done! Stacey M

A true ARTIST!

Dr. Compton is an amazing doctor and a true artist! I had a botched nose and went to him for a complex revision. He fixed my septum and now I can finally breathe! I had the surgery in June 2017, and now I’m 6 months out and I couldn’t be happier. I had done my research with many doctors...When I went on my first consultation I immediately felt comfortable that I had met the right doctor and I was in the right hands. He’s honest, meticulous, and cares about his work and the results. He gave me his 100 percent and he exceeded my expectations. He is genuine and truly an artist. So thankful for him. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

Chin lipo

Since having my last son I could never seem to get rid of my double chin. I didn't like to smile on pictures because it made my face look like a giant pumpkin ????. Anyway I decided to try chin liposuction. For the most part the procedure was easy. I just felt like I had gone a few minutes in the ring with Mike Tyson. Recovery for me has been annoying and frustrating due to the fact I hadn't prepared myself for the numbness that is still present after one week and having to wear the compression garment full time. I am still in he process of healing some days look much better than others.
