Dr. Fozo has done a divanted septum and it was wonderful. I had a very hard time breathing during my yoga. Was the best thing I did. Was completely satisfied and have returned since for three additional procedures. He is just an amazing surgeon. I’ve referred my friends and they were completely satisfied. Anything you have done you’ll be satisfied
Dr. Fozo is exceptional. He is honest and genuinely cares about his patients. I have trusted him through 3 surgeries. Rhinoplasty, Browlift, Upper and lower eyelids and a facelift. Throughout the process he has answered all of my questions and managed my expectations. His staff members are professional, knowledgeable and available. He won’t take risks with your face or make you look overdone. I am 50, but people think I am 10-15 years younger thanks to Dr. Fozo.
Dr. Fozo does a great job with Botox and filler. He understands what a client is looking for and does exactly what you need, never looks fake or overdone. He and the staff are professional and friendly. I have always had a great experience at the office and would never go anywhere else.
I can’t say enough good things about my septorhinoplasty experience with Dr. Fozo. From the initial consultation, Dr. Fozo made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. The office staff is also very friendly and made me feel at-home. Yvonne (the medical assistant) and the nurse anesthetist on the day of my surgery went above and beyond by easing all of my worries and fears. Dr. Fozo also has great bedside manner and you can tell he is an expert in his field. I’m so thankful that he was able to give me a smooth experience of improving my breathing and giving me a nose I’m no longer self-conscious about. I have wanted my deviated septum repaired, droopy tip shortened, and bridge filed down since I was 18 (now 30). It was very important to me that my results looked subtle and natural and Dr. Fozo was very understanding my of that. He suggested also widening my bridge slightly to help further with my breathing and to fit my face better which I’m very happy we did. Dr. Fozo always offered his honest professional opinion, without ever pushing me into something that I did not want. The swelling and bruising that I experienced wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting - I feel that I got very lucky. However, the pain and pressure in my face / head did get severe enough on days 2-5 where I did need to take the prescribed pain medication. However, the pain was able to be almost immediately helped with the medication and I would do it all over again. They say that most of the discomfort will be during the first 48 hours but I honestly felt fantastic and mostly still numb when I returned home from surgery (I handle anesthesia well). They compared the sensation for the first few days to having a sinus infection and I would say that was spot on for my overall experience. Honestly the worst part for me was sleeping on my back elevated and not being able to blow my nose for 5 days when it felt very stuffy /oozy. I’m very happy with my decision to choose Dr. Fozo as my surgeon and to undergo this surgery. I would highly recommend him and this procedure to anyone like me who wants your breathing and/or shape of your nose enhanced. I’m only 6 days post-op and already happy with the changes I’m seeing in my breathing and overall appearance of my nose despite it being very swollen still. I’m excited to see how it continues to change as the swelling goes down. Future update to come! Updated on 1 Nov 2022: Still very swollen in my tip but here is a 4 week update. Happy with my side profile when relaxed but still unhappy with my droopy tip when smiling, he told me to be patient with the swelling in the tip since it take 9-12 months for it to fully heal. Hoping for my tip to lift more as it continues to heal. All before photos are on left and after photos are on right Updated on 6 Apr 2023: Overall I am happy with my results and am happy that I went through with the procedure. My breathing is perfect and I’m so thankful for that. Dr. Fozo definitely takes a conservative approach with his work which I can appreciate, however, I don’t feel like I 100% for the nose I asked for. We discussed rotating my nose slightly upward at my consultation (since droopiness when I smile was one of my main concerns) but I still see droopiness when I smile unfortunately at the base of my nose. My new nose is definitely a huge improvement from my birth nose but I wish it would’ve been rotated upward more so I didn’t still see the droopiness when I smile. Dr. Fozo said the rotation would fix the droopiness at my consultation and that it “wouldn’t be a problem” to achieve a slightly upturned nose which would help my face look more feminine. When my 3 month check in came and I voiced my concerns about the drooping still being present, he told me that wasn’t sure what I meant and that if he upturned it anymore that you would be able to see up my nose which wouldn’t be cute. He also said it would give me too much space between my upper lip and nose. I thought this was odd since he did not bring these concerns up when I asked for the rotation at my consult. So that has been my only frustration throughout this whole process. Updated on 3 Nov 2023: Wanted to provide an update since I’m now at the one year point. The swelling in my tip has gone down immensely over the past 6 months and I feel like I’m really close to my final result. My breathing is still great and I am still happy that I chose to have this procedure. I feel much more confident overall and am very happy with all angles of my nose relaxed. I’m still not 100% happy with how my nose looks droopy / angled downward when I smile but I’m not unhappy enough at this point to have a revision.
There isn’t enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Fozo. From the day I met him I knew he was my surgeon. He has made this experience amazing for me. I can’t recommend him enough! Thank you for everything.
Amazing. Caring thoughtful and conservative in approach. No worries to walk away looking fake. He’s very good at keeping patients in check. Women want more more more and he strongly recommends less so as to stay with a natural appearance. Instead of taking more money he recommends the best solution.
I’m 1 week post-op and just got home from having my stitches and cast removed. I couldn’t be happier! It was important to me that I still looked like myself, but I wanted the bump on the bridge of my nose removed. Dr. Fozo did an incredible job!!! I can’t stop looking at myself in the mirror! I felt comfortable with him and his whole staff from the beginning. I truly can’t recommend Dr. Fozo enough! Updated on 25 Jan 2022:
My rhinoplasty/septoplasty was end of January 2021 and it is currently November 2021. I only have amazing things to say about Dr. Fozo. I went to multiple consultations with different doctors and he definitely made me feel most comfortable. He understood exactly what I wanted. The surgery went great and recovery was not bad at all. My swelling was really bad but you have to be patient with your nose. I wasn’t happy with my results until about 4 months post-op. My nose now, after 9 months, is exactly what I wanted. Not only did I get the nose I wanted but my breathing is pristine!!! I only have good things to say about Dr. Fozo. He truly is a wonderful ENT and I recommend him to everyone!
I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Fozo and he was amazing from the moment I had my first consult with him. He asked me what I disliked about my nose and never told me what he would change, he wanted tp make sure not to pressure me into surgery. He was very real with me explaining that fixing imperfections on my nose wouldn't make me a happier person and how important it is to be be in a good mental state before going through with a surgery. He said a nose will never be perfect which I appreciated. He said he would make sure my nose still looks Italian and not like the typical cookie-cutter sloped nose that most people get done. We looked at manipulated photos of my nose and he let me see different options, I fully trusted him to succeed- which he did! I am 11 days post-op and have had the best recovery so far. On my cast removal day it was a very uplifting experience and he told me I was doing great so far with healing and that I will be extremely happy once the swelling goes away more. So far I am IN LOVE with my nose and I still feel myself. Can't wait for the final results!! Updated on 4 Jan 2021: My nose is getting less swollen every day! I can breath through my nose so clear. The stiffness around my upper lip is slowly going away but still can't smile fully. I wear my cast when I go to sleep per Dr's order. Updated on 7 Feb 2021: 53 Days Post op!! Everything is going great, my smile is basically back to normal so I finally feel like my self looking at my front profile! I am so so happy with the results so far, no one can tell I had work done because it's such a natural change.
If you’re searching for the best surgeon to perform your rhinoplasty, stop - you’ve found him. Many people are afraid to write reviews and leave before and after photos but I’ve decided to do so because Dr. Fozo is a true artist and I want everyone to know! If you have always been considering a rhinoplasty like me, my advice is to just do it. I’ve always disliked my nose since I can remember. It was too wide and protruded too much. I also couldn’t breathe that great from one side of my nose. However, I was always too afraid. I was afraid that my nose would look too fake or that I would no longer look like myself. At 23, I finally decided that it was the right time for me to get a rhinoplasty and my only regret is not getting a rhinoplasty sooner but maybe I wouldn’t have came across Dr. Fozo. Dr. Fozo and his staff made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and although I had initially planned to go to a few consults with multiple surgeons I knew Dr. Fozo was the one for me after meeting him. He did not pressure me into getting any other procedures which many surgeons do. He listened to all my concerns and addressed them all and my nose literally looks like the simulation pictures. Dr. Fozo also sent me flowers when I was recovering... what surgeon does that?! Not only is he an amazing and compassionate surgeon, he is also an ENT who specializes in rhinoplasties which is what you want. You shouldn’t only look good but you should also be able to breathe good which I can do now. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fozo for your rhinoplasty. Tips: I would recommend purchasing a neck pillow to sleep with after surgery for a few weeks to help reduce swelling. Along with a neck pillow, you should purchase Arnica Montana tabs, zinc, vitamin c, bromelain, fresh pineapple/pineapple juice, nexcare skin tape, gauze, small ice packs, antibiotic ointment, a lot of Q-tips, saline spray, hydrogen peroxide, and a humidifier. I took the vitamin c and zinc tablets two weeks prior to my surgery as recommended and continued with the vitamin c, zinc, bromelain, arnica Montana tablets, and fresh pineapple/pineapple juice after my surgery. Make sure to ice your eyes following surgery for a few days. Also, on the third night my cast came off one one side so I continued to tape it down until my cast removal. The humidifier helped make it easier to breathe from my mouth which you will need to do for at least two weeks. Make sure that you are frequently cleaning your nose and stitches with hydrogen peroxide and following with antibiotic ointment to help your scars heal better. Make sure that you have realistic expectations on cast removal day. I know this is hard because you see so many videos on social media where the cast is removed and the patient has a perfect tiny nose and no bruising or swelling. I had a lot of swelling in my cheeks and nose and was still very bruised. I did not look like myself but knew this would go away. I have been taping my cast on my nose at night for a few weeks after my cast removal which really helps with swelling. I was also very congested for about a week after my cast removal. Using my humidifier and saline spray really helped. Although I still have more swelling in my tip, it has been five weeks since I had my rhinoplasty and I am already thrilled with my results. Thank you Dr. Fozo!!
