Hi everyone. Excuse my english. I'm super excited and anxious, i'll be getting rhinoplasty next month D: !! I've always hated my nose, since I was in 2nd grade, for mother's day we made this thing were they traced our profiles on a cardboard.... the minute I saw it, I was like.. THIS NEEDS TO GO. My nose is one of my biggest insecurities, i feel it's very masculine, its my father's nose, and hey, it looks good on him.. but.. me... uh.. NOPE ú.ù Last year I had the oportunity to work abroad, so I got to save some money. I knew that it had to be destined for my all time dream: a feminine nose. Since I came back to Mexico, I've been making lists of possible doctors, comparing pictures of their work done, asking for prices, reading about their experience...pretty much stalking them all over the internet. So i chose one, Dr. Roel Moyeda, he seemed pretty calm and professional, answered my questions and assured me that the result would be as natural as passible. This made me feel comfortable, because we all know it has to "fit" my face. So... i'm so excited but scared! D: ! What if it's not what i expect? what if something goes wrong? AAAAAAH!!! I just want to get it over with. hahaha Updated on 29 Nov 2015: I had my surgery on november 12. Here are some pics of the following days. I had NO bruising. No pain. Just a mild headache, the only thing was discomfort because the cast was HUGE. By day 5 the swelling had almost faded (not completely of course, but it was barely noticeable) People at work were surprised at how "normal" i looked... kinda a "restaurant ready" but with a cast haha Updated on 29 Nov 2015: This picture was taken 10 days post surgery. Hi everyone, I'm writing this because I want to share my experience and maybe I could use some advice ;) My name is Alex, I'm 26 years old and I'm from Mexico, I have always disliked the shape of my nose, specially the profile (hump), so I've been wanting to get a rhinoplasty for a long time. Well, it finally happened, on June 22, I'm in my second day post-op and I don't know how to react, I'm really swollen and bruised, is it normal to get this bruised and swollen?!, I look nothing like myself, and it's a little scary, what do you guys think?.
