I'm super excited and anxious, i'll be getting rhinoplasty next month D: !!
I've always hated my nose, since I was in 2nd grade, for mother's day we made this thing were they traced our profiles on a cardboard.... the minute I saw it, I was like.. THIS NEEDS TO GO.
My nose is one of my biggest insecurities, i feel it's very masculine, its my father's nose, and hey, it looks good on him.. but.. me... uh.. NOPE ú.ù
Last year I had the oportunity to work abroad, so I got to save some money. I knew that it had to be destined for my all time dream: a feminine nose.
Since I came back to Mexico, I've been making lists of possible doctors, comparing pictures of their work done, asking for prices, reading about their experience...pretty much stalking them all over the internet. So i chose one, Dr. Roel Moyeda, he seemed pretty calm and professional, answered my questions and assured me that the result would be as natural as passible. This made me feel comfortable, because we all know it has to "fit" my face.
So... i'm so excited but scared! D: ! What if it's not what i expect? what if something goes wrong?
AAAAAAH!!!
I just want to get it over with. hahaha

Hi, I know what you mean I was very anxious pre op up to the point that they gave me a mild sedative just before theatre to calm me. I think if you've researched your surgeon and trust him/her and their abilities and I'm sure you'll be fine. This site certainly helped me to prepare for post op care and all the little things that made me panic. Keep us updated to see hoe you get on and good luck, I hope all goes well for you.

Hola! (: sí me la operé, no he tenido tiempo de compartir fotos, pero te puedo decir que es excelente doctor, amo el resultado, casi no me hinché, CERO dolor :) yo sólo le pedi que me la afinara y me la dejara muy natural, mi mayor problema era el perfil que lo ODIABA, ahora es lo que más me gusta C: en verdad si te lo recomiendo muchísimo.

Ah Mira, no había visto tu respuesta. Gracias por compartir! Cuantas visitas después de la operación tuviste con el doctor? Yo vivo en Houston pero estoy dispuesta ah ir para operarme el problema es no se cuantos días después de la operación me debería de quedar ya que no quiero regresar y tener que regresar a Monterrey.

Hola :) Pues después de la cirugía son dos citas, una en que te quita el cast,que es una semana después, y te pone cintas, la 2da me la dió para el mes después de la cirugía(que aún no es), yo creo que puedes llamar a su consultorio y ver que puede funcionar para tí o si puedes, hecharte una vuelta para discutirlo. La 2da cita no la veo tan necesaria, ya que supongo que sería un checkup súper sencillo y menos de 10 min, así que no vale la pena la vuelta. Y no sé si tiene manos mágicas porque en verdad mi recuperación fue super rápida, y otra chica que contacté que se operó con él hace un año me comentó que ella también, así que la 2da cita tal vez la puedan omitir en tu caso jaja. Mientras sigas los cuidados :)

Yo a estado tratando de contactar el Dr. Moyeda desde los estados unidos pero no me ha regresado un email. Cuando fuiste con el lo llamaste desde Mexico o desde los Estados Unidos? $1,600 es con todo los gastos de el quirófano y anestelogica ? me encanta su trabo con implantes de menton y de ando mandíbula!!!

A little late update.
I had my surgery on november 12.
Here are some pics of the following days.
I had NO bruising.
No pain.
Just a mild headache, the only thing was discomfort because the cast was HUGE.
By day 5 the swelling had almost faded (not completely of course, but it was barely noticeable) People at work were surprised at how "normal" i looked... kinda a "restaurant ready" but with a cast haha
