Dr. Yang is a hidden gem for Rockville Maryland. He has done both my first and second 360/BBL. Unfortunately but fortunately I have a hard time putting on and keeping weight, so my first round was just enough to give me a little curve but like many I WANTED MORE! The second round allowed the opportunity to put on more weight and honestly my results are FIRE. His bedside manner is perfect, after my surgery on 6/13/22 next day he was the first message I received checking in to make sure I was OK. I was on antibiotics, same day I had medication to prevent a yeast infection. I had concerns about an area, he squeezed me in on a surgery day. You honestly can't ask for a better surgeon and best part he is local for DMV residents :) Updated on 29 Jun 2022: 2 weeks post! Just like fine wine, only getting better with time. The secret... I wear my faja depending on the outfit or a binder with my lipo board! Nights, I give myself a break with compression but elevate my legs for swelling. Still very sore and tender so doing my massages once a week. Updated on 7 Aug 2022: The "Fluff Fairy" is trying to make her grand debut. The booty is getting a little softer and my tummy is beginning to show some definition. Patience is a virtue I continue to work on because I don't have it naturally lol. Updated on 9 Aug 2022: I forgot to post my back shot angle. I wear my faja depending on my outfit and waist training mostly at home. After lipo, your metabolism increases so my secret....eat what I want! It goes directly to the booty :) Updated on 26 Jan 2023: I was asked to do an update. The "Fluff" Fairy has come and gone. My tummy gets flatter by the month and I have officially retired the faja. Occasionally I'll put on a waist trainer for bloating but that's pretty much it. Honestly, this is the flattest my tummy has been since HS and no one believes I have 4 kids. Overall, Vaser Lipo is THE TRUTH along with my skinny BBL! I'm naturally petite and wanted a more curvaceous frame even though I didn't have much fat to take. Am I done...that's still up for debate lol. Updated on 14 Feb 2024: It's been a while dolls but here's my 1.5 year update. I still have my curves, flat tummy, no more pain or faja! Doc is the absolute best and I'm forever appreciative. As many know we always want more lol, so I'll likely go slightly bigger on the projection piece but once I have more fat to take from :)
I knew I had to go with Dr. Yang after our Virtual Consult (While I was home with COVID!). He gave me great recommendations on what to take to strengthen my immune system before surgery. He actually cares about his patients and you can tell each time you speak with him. After my surgery ( 3 months after my Virtual Consult) he responded to any questions I had via text or phone call. Never made me feel like a question I asked was dumb. My results are BOMB and it's only been 4 weeks. I had tummy tuck, muscle repair (which he noticed I needed from the pictures I sent for my Virtual Consult!!) back lipo & BBL! His staff is so friendly and helpful, on surgery day his staff had me so relaxed and happy for the procedure with their awesome energy! Bonnie is another gem, just like Dr. Yang she cares about the patients and is the sweetest to speak with!
Dr. Yang took time out of his day to give me a 30 minute overview of my procedure on zoom. He is very thorough and honest. He took time to listen to what I wanted. The staff and nurses are extremely polite and made me feel very comfortable. I was so nervous about my results because my first BBL was not what I wanted from a previous doctor. Dr. Yang was honest about me not having enough fat to achieve the look I wanted. But he promised to get me as close as he could. And he DID! I love my results. I am 2 days post op and I feel great. Staying on top of my fluids and medications. I have my follow up this Wednesday. After that I will follow up with more photos. Updated on 6 Feb 2022: I forgot to add my before picture. The one on the left shows my first BBL in 2018. On the right is my revision with Dr. Yang. Updated on 6 Feb 2022: Feeling ok. Woke up really stiff and sore. But as I walk around I’m getting back to normal. Staying on top of meds and eating high protein foods and fiber. Veggies and fruit. Updated on 7 Feb 2022: Just had my post op massage last night. Results looking amazing. Updated on 9 Feb 2022: Here’s my first follow up appointment. Drains stay in for one more week but overall living my results. Dr. Yang is amazing. Also, in my other posts, please excuse my room . It’s the one time I get to be carefree and my husband doesn’t mind. I’m normally very clean and tidy. Lol Updated on 17 Feb 2022: Here’s an update at 12 days post op. I just had a massage and feeling great. Healing well. My right side is slightly more swollen than my left. Soreness is getting better and better each day. Updated on 6 Mar 2022: Updated on 13 Mar 2022: I have a little seroma on my right side. I will need to get that drained again. I’ve been drained twice now. I’ve been eating a lot trying to maintain my fat. At week 6, I will continue eating but will be incorporating upper body exercises and wait training.
I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Yang and his assistant Bonnie. I’m about 4 weeks post op. I’ve had surgery before but after 3 kids and weight loss and weight gain and weight loss again I knew it was time for a tummy tuck. Dr. Yang is very knowledgeable, smart, friendly, and patient. The very first time I went for a consultation was in 2013, and I’ve been back to his office a couple times since on my journey to having a tummy tuck. Every time I came Dr. Yang was kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. I met with 3 surgeons in the DMV area, one in Miami, and one in GA. I decided I did not want to travel for surgery. I have in the past and after a surgery you just want to be home, not in a recovery house or a hotel. Out of all of the surgeons I talked to Dr. Yang had the best bed side manner. He answered every question. He was honest and managed my expectations in a professional and sensitive way. What really stuck out was his knowledge, his attention to detail, and his dedication to safety. I could tell he really cared about giving me the best outcome. I never got the sense that he was pre-judging me or there was any bias. He made me feel comfortable at every step of the process. Before surgery you are prescribed all of your medications, so I was able to pick up the pain meds, and antibiotic before surgery. I was also prescribed a self-administered shot to prevent blood clots. I really appreciated Dr. Yang thinking of this because I have a friend of the family who died recently after a routine surgery when a blood clot got loose. On the day of surgery things went smoothly. I came in excited but a little anxious. I filled out consents and disclosures. I met with the nurse and the anesthesiologist. They took my vitals and weighed me. The anesthesiologist made me feel secure and was friendly and professional. I walked into the operating room and I was able to get on the table myself. I chatted a little with the nurse and the next thing I knew everything was over and I was in the recovery area. After surgery you do not feel great-- But they think of everything. If you’re having a tummy tuck you get a shot of Exparel which numbs your stomach for a few days after the procedure. So you’re not in excruciating pain. I also got a patch they put behind my ear that helped with nausea for three days, so I had no nausea. I had a catheter, which at first gave me pause BUT it turned out to be a great thing. After the surgery all you want to do is rest. I was so happy not to have to get up repeatedly and manage having to pee over and over. Removing the catheter was easy. I am almost 4 weeks P/O and I’m very happy with my tummy tuck. It has surpassed my expectations. My incision is low and straight. All of the loose skin has been removed. My belly button looks great. I had scars on my stomach from getting my appendix out and he was able to remove those scars. I have the stomach of a teenager. I also scar hypertrophicly—that’s just a genetic thing. I usually have raised itchy scars that flatten out over a year or two really wide. I mentioned this to Dr. Yang in our pre-op meetings, and this is by far the best scar I have on my body. It’s too early to judge the full results of the scar but Dr. Yang mentioned something NO OTHER DOCTOR ever did- the role of nutrition on scaring. He mentioned making sure I was taking the proper vitamins so I can heal/scar better. I took his advice and added Vitamin D, Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium, and extra Vitamin C to my routine. Dr. Yang was able to suction a lot of my back fat. I definitely see an improvement. For the first time since 2003 (when I had my first child) I am able to wear a bikini. I have a waist again! I am looking forward to going to the beach in December and wearing my bikini in Miami. My butt has definitely improved in size BUT it has been extremely difficult not to put pressure on my butt at night while sleeping. Having TT and BBL at the same time is NOT a good idea. It’s a real challenge to sleep. When you get a tummy tuck you are told to lay on your back in a recliner position. When you get a BBL you are told to lay on your stomach. When you get both there is basically no position for you to lay in to sleep. They say you can place pillows under your legs (which I did and still do every night) but that is a very difficult position to keep while sleeping. Darn near impossible. So if you lay on your stomach you can mess up your tummy tuck, if you lay on your back you can mess up your BBL. I couldn’t lay on my sides because fat was also injected in my hips. My advice: I would strongly recommend not doing tummy tuck and BBL together. That’s the only thing I regret about this procedure. If I could do it all over, I would break up the procedures so I could be in a position where I can sleep without putting any pressure on my butt. Or I would have done Tummy tuck and breast lift together and came back for BBL later. I would highly recommend Dr. Yang and would encourage you to schedule an appointment with him to find out if he can help you with your situation. Updated on 22 Sep 2021:
Dr. Yang is a suburb surgeon. He's so humble and has great bedside manners. He's very skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. I got a BBL done and couldn't be more pleased with my results. Dr. Yang is truly a medical artist. He was honest about how the process would be and how the outcome would turn out. I was nervous but Dr. Yang and his staff put me at ease. I never felt rushed by him or Bonnie, they answered all my questions. The follow-up visits after surgery were the same. Not rushed and professional from all staff I came in contact with. Dr. Yang is simply the best. Updated on 14 May 2020: Below is my ‘wish pic’ and my ‘before and after’ pic. Updated on 17 Dec 2021: Unfortunately my stomach isn’t as flat as I wanted it to be. My butt also flattened out a lot and I lost my hips after one year post op. I am thankful it looks better than my prebod but I really wish I could get round 2.
Hi everyone after talking this page for like three years I have finally gained the courage to get a lift done with lipo and possibly adding the fat to my hips and butt. I’m someone who is extremely afraid of being put to sleep but this is something I want so I’m going through with it
36 years old. Used to be fly. Wanna be fly again. I had a breast reduction this tee which was covered by my insurance. It left my boobs scarred and oddly shaped. I was still very happy I did it but ended up doing them again. Had muscle stomachs sewn together. Lipo of love handles and side boob. And tummy tuck. At day 5 recovering in the House. Ask questions if you like.
Had a mommy makeover after giving birth to 4 beautiful children. I had lots of stretch marks that didn't bother me too much but also an umbilical hernia and extra skin that really did a job on the way I felt about my physical appearance while nakid. I felt like if I lost all the baby weight and was healthy then why wasnt I one of those people who looked as good naked now as I did pre pregnancy. I nursed between 4-6 months and my breasts were completely deflated. I would completely spill out of any Demi style bra so I always wore a full coverage to keep everything in. Don't get me wrong I looked great in my clothes but it does something to the mind to go from one physical extreme to the other especially when you feel like you have done everything right. I went in to see Dr. Yang and he completely understand were I was coming from. He talked me through everything that I wanted to do and agreed that those options were right along the lines of what I would need to achieve my desired results. He was very personable and ver knowledge. I felt very comfortable working with him on such a big and important decision. His assistant Bonnie was very kind and made all the administrative processes easy to understand and seamless. They are a great group to work with and take the time to make you feel important and cared for. Updated on 28 Apr 2017: 11days PO...no meds needed sonce day 3. Updated on 4 May 2017: Everything is healing well. Breast scars itch at the end of the day and have been having some random sharp pains but overall feeling really good. Updated on 29 Jul 2017:
He is super nice, patient, not pushy, and professional. I had breast implants done by him. I had 2 free consultations and he answered every one of my questions even with the chronological history of some surgical procedures.
I had lip fillers injected by Dr Yang a little over 2 weeks ago and I am thrilled with the results! I had zero bruising after the procedure and only about 3 days of swelling. This was my first ever cosmetic procedure and Dr. Yang and his staff made me feel very comfortable from start to end. I have recently been in contact with Dr. Yang through email about future procedures that I have already scheduled. He has returned every email quickly and addressed all my concerns and questions in depth. I have not felt pressured or oversold at all. Im so grateful that I found him. He listens carefully to your desires and aims to achieve exactly what you want while still keeping natural results and gradual achievement of these results in mind. I highly recommend him.
Hello and thank you for your question. For most mommy makeovers the procedure involves both breast and abdominal surgery. If you had a purely office based occupation, I would normally recommend 2 weeks off of work. If you can work from home you can obviously do that much sooner. However working for the post office and being required to carry fairly heavy bags of mail the true answer is probably around two months. If you are allowed to use a rolling cart and just push the mail you might be able to get back to work closer to a month. But it really depends on your underlying health and which exact type of Mommy makeover you were having. As always be healthy no smoking and make sure any health conditions are managed by your primary care position. Have a blessed day.
Hello and thank you for the question and the photos. at 5 foot 3 and 150 pounds you are at a good point to have this procedure done. Your photos show that you would be an excellent candidate for 360 Lipo with Vaser and bbl. In my experience a BMI of 25 to 30 is the sweet spot for doing these procedures. your photos do show some hip dips as well as some skin laxity of the buttock area which is helpful in creating a round full shape. Your abdomen shows some stretch marks on loose skin which would need to be evaluated in person for the possibility of needing a tummy tuck as well. As always it's important to be healthy non smoking and make sure any health conditions are being properly managed by your primary care physician. You should seek several different consultations with plastic board certified plastic surgeons in your area before making any decisions. Best to you.
Hello and thank you for the question and the photos understand the concerns that you are having. Although there is nothing wrong with your result I understand you're unhappy with the position of the implants and also the location of where the nipple is. If you look at the before picture there is a clear short distance between the bottom of the breastfold and the center of the nipple. this short distance indicates where the nipple is going to wind up after surgery. Typically implants increase the size of the breast and stretch the skin along with it. it will also sometimes lift up the lower half of the skin too far leading to what's called the double bubble deformity. You do not have that. Instead your implant appears to be slightly too high in regards to the positioning of the nipple. Correcting this can be tricky and may require some form of nipple adjustment or repositioning. typically we would wait half a year to a year of healing before attempting such a process. in addition your subglandular implants pose a problem regarding blood supply to the nipple in case of any extensive lift type procedure is contemplated. Depending on how recent your surgery is, I would wait this out and allow the skin and tissue to adjust then go back to your MD and discuss options. Best to you.
Hello and thank you for the question. we are asked this often in plastic surgery. The biggest impediments to having surgery is the fear of anesthesia, the fear of scarring and the fear of pain which leads to an entire industry marketing non-surgical non invasive treatments. Every year some new product is introduced that they heavily market and show amazing before and after pictures they use this of new laser or radio frequency or other high tech treatment to produce surgical like results without having surgery. Unfortunately in my 24 years of practice I've never seen one that has lived up to the hype. Most of these treatments have some sound scientific basis but just because something makes sense on paper doesn't mean it translates into the real world. Furthermore any other benefits tend to be exceedingly mild and for some one with your condition it would be both a waste of time and money. In addition, most of these high tech non surgical options go out of business after a couple years. the fancy marketing can only go so far; without real world results, patients and doctors will lose faith in the product and move on to the next new thing. Your best answer is to seek board certified plastic surgeons in your area have several consultations look at their before and after results, look at the consistency of their before and after results and go from there. I understand this is probably not the answer you are looking for but it remains the correct one in my opinion. Best to you.
Hello and thank you for the question and the photos. Based on your photos a full surgical breast lift would be required. There are many non-surgical or less invasive options that are currently on the market and being offered however most of these options are providing minimal benefit given the costs and risks. Although you might experience some improvement you will still have sagging. It's sort of like having a flat tire and filling it with air but only putting a little bit of air in the tire at the end of all of that work you still have saggy breasts and a out of pocket expense in the thousands of dollars. Your best option would be to undergo a full surgical breast lift. Understand that after a breast lift or breast reduction the ability to breastfeed is compromised however future breastfeeding will also lead to sagging of the breast. You might want to consider having children first then do the breast lift or have the breast lift first and opt for formula feeding as an option. Although many non surgical options are very tempting to consider the real world results tend to be disappointing or nonexistent at best. These companies often market heavily towards the idea of less invasive options less scarring, no need for anesthesia. However the trade off tends to be not what patients expected given their aggressive marketing strategies As always it is best to be healthy seek several consultations with board certified plastic surgeons before making any decisions Best to you
