Dr. Z is incredible! He consistently provides outstanding care and is lovely to speak with at every appointment. He is a brilliant doctor that combines genuine care for a patient with top notch medical procedures and advice. I travel from out of state to see him and will continue to do so. He has fixed cosmetic procedures gone wrong many a time for me and, from now on, I’m never going anywhere else. He’s well worth the plane tickets and travel time! I highly recommend him to anyone seeking an all-around wonderful specialist. He is very kind and patient with me and always addresses my concerns. I am very grateful for him and his team!

I had a complex eye asymmetry that resulted from getting hit in the eye with a ball. Both my upper eyelid and lower eyelid drooped on one side while the other eye was perfect. Dr. Zatezalo did an amazing job matching my eyes without over/under correcting. He went above and beyond and followed up with me four or five times after my surgery in order to ensure my eyelids were processing as intended. Dr. Z is a rockstar. I couldn't have asked for a better treatment or outcome.

After having a bad outcome with another oculoplast which left me with lower lid retraction among other negatives, Dr Zatezalo has been slowly and patiently helping to improve my situation. Today he did a stenting procedure to one eye only, the eye that was more retracted. He was so gentle and compassionate. While I have two weeks before I will see final results, I already look and feel better. He was able to break up scar tissue and injected the stenting filler so precisely that my eye now looks totally normal. He is a very careful and conservative doctor. He does not take any risks with me and is always careful to make sure we have communicated expectations well. It is my experience that you can trust your eyes to this man.

I went to see Dr Z for help with a possible revision. My original surgeon, instead of giving my eyes a refresh so I looked like myself but rejuvenated, totally altered the shape and aperture of my eyes. I look like a different person. It is devastating. Dr Z did not minimize this, as I had hoped. He acknowledged that I do have a different look and that I will need to process that and grieve it. He even gave me a therapist referral. It was extremely painful to hear the truth that I can see but want ppl to help me deny. But he also told me that we can improve it a lot. I won't be exactly as I was (so painful) but I can get a lot better. He showed me pictures of his patients he did revision work on and gave me a lot of information. He also taught me some massage exercises I can do now, and had some suggestions for scar management. I'm so glad I went to see him. I think it will make a material difference in my outcome to treat the scars now before too much time has passed. And while hearing the truth was very very painful, he was also reassuring that I'm not stuck and that I'm not technically botched in the sense of having medical problems. I wish so much that I had seen him originally and that he had done my surgery the first time. He is smart and caring and super personable. So is his staff.

Dr. Zatezalo is the best! I have been dealing with the devastating results of a botched blepharoplasty from a local plastic surgeon that created a variety of problems. Dr. Zatezalo told me immediately what could be fixed and what could not. He is clear and blunt in his explanations, but at the same time maintains and transmits a positive attitude. I just started treatments and will probably have surgery to repair the damage that was done, and I know I could not be in better hands. All the patients that I see in his office are enthusiastic about him. He is probably the best oculoplastic surgeon in this area.

I am 44 years old. I got a lateral brow lift perfumed by Dr. Z on 07-07. Dr. Z is an extremely talented and skilled surgeon. He gave me exactly the results I was looking for: natural improvement - same me but looking more awake and refreshed. Everything was explained thoroughly before surgery and there were no surprises. Now that I have seen Dr. Chad Zatezalo five separate times since January; I feel qualified to post a review of his skill, his treatment plan and his practice. As highlighted in other reviews, “Dr. Z” is an extremely personable and down to earth doctor. From consultation to treatment, you feel like you’re having a conversation with your college buddy, vice a surgeon you’ve never met before. While bedside manner is great to have, your greatest concern should be the education, training and skill of the doctor (ESPECIALLY if they are doing ANYTHING to your eyes!!). Well, you’re in luck, because Dr. Z has all the above! And bonus, his practice, The Zatezalo Group, is run and managed by Meg, who is exceptional, and goes above and beyond. She also assists Dr. Z in all his surgeries, and is well versed and knowledgeable on all procedures. I scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Z because I was very disappointed with the results I had from an upper/lower blepharoplasty (4 months prior). After the suggested timeframe for healing came and went (approx. 90 days to look/feel normal), I was hoping I was an anomaly and maybe just needed an extra week to heal and look how I imagined I would. Nope...didn’t happen! It seemed to just get worse. Mind you, I was doing everything my original surgeon/nurse told me to do: follow up appointments, eye massages, eye drops, etc. I truly thought I was going to have tight/unnatural/surgical looking eyes for the rest of my life, and the negative/emotional impact that had on me was paramount and unexpected. And it wasn’t because I’m vain, it was because I did not look like “me” anymore. After deciding I needed to consult another surgeon to see if there was anything I could do, I came upon Dr. Z and submitted a request for appointment via his website. Early the next morning I received a phone call from Meg and had a consultation appointment scheduled within days. Every appointment since then (5 total) has been the same: informative, professional, honest, non-pushy, punctual, light-hearted and, most important, undeniable results. Regardless of what Dr. Z suggests as a treatment plan, it will be his honest assessment of the best way forward, vice the option that will bring in the most money. I trust him with my eyes, which is something you have to earn.

Overwhelmed with my results! Just had my first Dysport treatment ever and I couldn't be happier! After years of waiting, I finally mustard up the courage . I looked refreshed, less stressed and not so angry Dr. Zatezalo and his assistant Megan are very empathetic and made me feel like I was the only patient. Dr. Zatezalo carefully explained all of the outcomes and possibilities that the dysport can have. I decided to roll the dice and go for it. Meg followed up with me two weeks after to check to make sure I was happy with my treatment. I will be recommending this practice to all of my friends. He is a very talent physician and worth the cost.

I have been seeing Dr. Zatezalo for a couple years now and was excited to find out he now offers laser procedures. I had IPL done to target hyperpigmentation due to years of sun exposure. The results were phenomenal even after 1 treatment. Definitely recommend if you also spent too many years soaking up the sun!

I was recommended to Dr.Chad by a friend. I live in Los Angeles, but found myself in the MD area with time on my hands and wanted to do a quick "pick me up" without a lot of downtime. Because I live in L.A. I am not new to the "skin game", but I have to say that my treatment at the Zatezalo Group was one of the most pleasant, productive, cosmetic experiences I've ever had!
