Restoring my Body After 3 Babies
After 3 C-sections and nursing my babies over the course of a ten year span, my breasts were sagging and my belly was stretched. At 39, I decided to gift myself with a “mommy makeover” to restore my body and my confidence. Although the journey was an emotional rollercoaster... at 3 months post op, I’m SO glad I did it and consider it totally worth it. Dr. Kulkarni at DC Plastic Surgery Boutique in Washington DC was AMAZING. Her practice is a “for women, by women” concept that
Thrilled with the results
Great doctor and a pleasure to work with. Results are amazing. Dr. Kulkarni was very thoughtful and caring during all of my appointments and made me feel very calm pre-surgery and was available to answer all my concerns post surgery. I would happily recommend her to anyone.

Breast Reconstruction Following Double Mastectomy - North Bethesda, MD
I decided to have a double mastectomy after I found out that I am positive for the BRCA2 mutation, which puts me at a high lifetime risk for breast and ovarian cancer. I wanted to have breast reconstruction because I thought I would feel more like myself and have more confidence. I needed to find out more about the different types of breast reconstruction and what my best options were.

I'm in my Late Sixties and Was Diagnosed with Beginning Stages of Breast Cancer - North Bethesda, MD
My first surgery for a bi-lateral mastectomy started in February of 2016. During the entire pre-surgical visits, surgeries, and follow-up visits, Dr. Anita Kulkarni, her wonderful staff of nurses and office staff treated me so lovingly and showed so much empathy. Dr. Kulkarni is so professional and highly qualified to perform the necessary plastic surgery after the my mastectomy and all breast reconstruction . Whenever I see her, she is so full of light, happy, treats me like

2 Kids. Breastfed Them Both. Maryland, MD
My Boobs have always been saggy and they got worst after childbirth and breastfeeding. Before Surgery I was a 38DD. After my second baby I decided to go ahead and get it done. In pretty sure I am done having kids. This is the best decision I have made! I'm so happy so far and I'm only 4 days post op! My boobs were very saggy so just my removing skin my doc said my the actual size of my boobs will decrease even though she only did a lift. I can't wait to see what the size will
Getting a breast reduction had been a thought for several years. Wanting to have smaller breast and feel normal is want I longed for but never saw myself going through with the procedure. Although, I never publicly stated I was unhappy with having large breast and a discussion with my family and friends regarding my desire to have a reduction was never a topic I chose to bring up. I had a war going on within me, lots of questions for myself, what questions would others ask,

Breast Implants After Breastfeeding - Washington, DC
I breastfed 3 kids and my boobs paid the price! They were totally deflated, I used to be a 34C, and I was barely an A after the 3rd kid. Dr. Kulkarni did my breast augmentation with silicone implants and I absolutely LOVE them! It's been almost a year and they look awesome. My clothes fit so much better and I don't look like a little boy when I wear tight stuff. I would definitely recommend getting your boobs done if breastfeeding wrecked them like it did to mine.

Breast Reduction D/DD to B - Bethesda, MD
I sprouted large breasts at 19, that varied from D to DD depending on the season. Constantly had sore shoulders and back. When I turned 29, I started have serious issues with candida from exercising and it got worse when I used the prescription strength deodorant under my breasts, broke out with eczema.

21 Year Old College Senior 32DDD/F
So far I've had 3 different insurances. 2 of which have said they won't cover anything until my 6K out of pocket is maxed out. My newest insurance says that my breast reduction is covered and i only have to pay $250 out of pocket! After this confirmation, I have seen 2 different surgeons. The first was in Maryland and I really wanted to do the surgery with her (Dr. Kulkarni) but since I go to college full time (pursuing my BS in Cell and Molecular Biology) I couldn't afford to
