5 out of 5 stars Breast Implant Removal
Got my eight-month-old subpectoral saline implants removed under local anesthesia at the Plastic Surgery Center in Lutherville, MD. I'd been wanting to get my implants removed for a while but was getting quoted rates of four thousand dollars or more. I'd heard that it could be done under local so I was calling around to find a doctor who could do that. The Plastic Surgery Center booked me...
5 out of 5 stars Botox
From the moment I met Dr. Shermak I immediately felt confident and at ease. I initially came to see her for Botox but after a brief discussion she suggested that in addition to Botox, she inject my tear trough's with filler to diminish the appearance of the hollowness. Although this was something that had bothered me for years, never had i imagined she would be able to correct it in such a...
5 out of 5 stars Arm Lift
For years, I thought about it, dieted and worked out, hoping my flabby arms would finally have some shape. Then I found Dr. Shermak and had an arm lift. What a life-changing experience!! From the beginning, Dr. Shermak and her staff were encouraging, answered questions and offered support. I really appreciate Dr. Shermak's holistic approach to facilitating healing and her skill in helping me...

5 out of 5 stars Breast Implant Revision
Three most important things to me are qualifications , bedside manner and results...Dr Shermack excels in every one of these areas!!...my results were amazing!...I had 19 year old breast implants removed and replaced and my breasts look 100% better than they have ever looked!...Dr Shermack is an expert in her field and I would recommend her to everyone!
5 out of 5 stars Voluma
For the past few years I contemplated having injectables to help counteract the signs of aging . I finally made the leap in November and visited Dr. Michele Shermak. Dr. Shermak is courteous, professional and caring and she is deftly skilled at her work. The procedure took only a few minutes and in less than a few days, I looked years younger. Thank you Dr. Shermak
5 out of 5 stars Tummy Tuck
I had a tummytuck, lipo to the hips, and fat transfer to the face and to a formerly irradiated breast, which also received an implant. Dr. Shermak has a very upbeat personality, is very professional and extremely competent. I am very happy with the results. People tell me I look amazing...and it's been only three weeks since the surgery.
5 out of 5 stars Tummy Tuck
My skin had stretched from pregnancies and weight gain and loss. The day of surgery her anesthesiologist was on point, took good care of me, next thing I knew I was in recovery. I was back to work in two weeks. My healing was quick with no complications. The scar is fading fast, my incision was really long but she allowed for it to be hidden under the tiniest panties so I still feel beautiful....
5 out of 5 stars Body Lift
Personal connection. Dr. Shermak is absolutely wonderful! She is kind, personable and extremely professional. She performed a half body lift on me after weight loss surgery (with a weight loss of 117 pounds-lots of hanging skin!) with confidence and great results. Dr. Shermak is very knowledgable in this area and was actually excited about what she could do with my body. From the first appointment, during surgery and through post op follow ups, she was genuine and caring about answering questions and concerns and wanted to be sure that I was doing well. I had a completely positive experience and the pain was extremely minimal thanks to all her expertise. I would recommend Dr. Shermak without hesitation. Thank you Dr. Shermak!
5 out of 5 stars Chin Liposuction
I chose Dr. Shermak because I know other people whom she has worked on, and they were all thrilled with their results. I gave her this rating because she was caring and answered all of my questions so that I felt totally comfortable. She followed up after the procedure to make sure that I was ok, and she was completely patient with me when I asked questions. I felt like she was always there. Dr. Shermak is an artist. She is an exceptional plastic surgeon, and her results are phenomenal. I am normal weight, but had a double chin that I couldn't get rid of no matter how much weight I lost. Dr. Shermak performed chin liposuction on me before my wedding. I looked better, but it was so NOT obvious that people could not put their finger on what was different...they just thought I looked great. No one even knew I'd had work done! And, I always look back at my wedding photos with a smile, knowing my little secret:) Others have said that Dr. Shermak is warm, straight forward, down-to-earth, and brilliant, and I agree wholeheartedly. And, her aftercare is top notch. She always checks in with you to make sure you are doing okay. She is proud of her work and she wants you to be happy with your results. If you are having something done, large or small, she should be your first call!!!!
Dr. Shermak provides her patients the full spectrum of treatments, from minimally invasive to surgical, to help her patients achieve the best version of themselves. What distinguishes her includes her Hopkins training, continued teaching, and her personal, respectful approach.

A “Mommy Makeover” is plastic surgery performed to bring back the body a woman had prior to childbirth, often better than before. With pregnancy, women experience changes in the breasts and abdomen. Breasts may lose volume and “perk.” They may sag more, and develop mismatch in size and shape, particularly after breastfeeding. The abdomen can lose its pre-pregnancy “spring” and tautness. The belly button might have a hernia. The abdominal muscular support may be lax, particularly...
I see many men and women in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s who desire facial freshening without committing to surgery. Some might not frankly need a surgical procedure, particularly the 20/30-somethings. Some actually might benefit from a surgical procedure, but they don’t want it. For this large, heterogeneous group, minimally invasive treatments are a GREAT way to go! No scars and little to no downtime – who can beat that? The best products we have available now are the...
A “Mommy Makeover” is plastic surgery performed to bring a woman’s body back to where it was prior to childbirth, or maybe to an even better place than it ever was. With pregnancy and childbirth, women experience changes throughout the body, most specifically in the breasts and the abdomen. “My Medical Choice” was written by Angelina Jolie and published by the New York Times on May 14, 2013. Thank goodness for Angelina’s interest in public health and education! In her essay, she publicly announced that she underwent preventive double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction because she is Breast Cancer Gene (BRCA1) positive. Her gene positivity places her at a high risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer, on the order of 65% and 50%. Her decision to undergo...
With uncertain economic times and limited employment options, many struggle in the workplace to protect and optimize their job security. One approach is to present the best possible face one can, projecting an image of energy, enthusiasm, fitness and health. Physical characteristics subconsciously translate into perception of abilities. Some say perception is reality, and while this is debatable, perception can certainly impact reality. "It hurts to be beautiful" has been a cliche for...
